The food is amazing but could be a bit more attentive with service. The sandwiches are very well made with quality and fresh ingredients. Even amongst 3 guys, we all had trouble finishing our own sandwiches from how thick it was. Will definitely come back!

Just look at the fillings!

Cool cafe. Huge delicious sandwiches with a lot of fillings. Staff seemed unfriendly to us maybe because we only ordered two sandwiches for four of us, or maybe she just had a rough day or maybe it's just me being sensitive.

wow, the vibes in here are immaculate. the americano was perfect, my date and i shared the olives and a meat sando. it was so fresh, packed full of fillings and perfect! i'm so glad someone recommended this spot for me to try, i'll definitely be back when in squamish :)

Squamish really is growing and as whole new blocks appear I'm glad to see that there is a mind for restaurants and services where I can imagine members of the community meeting to chat outside and grabbing a bite (as seems to be the Squamish way). This place has its image dialed and there is a slight whiff of pretentiousness about but I think that is par for the course these days and possibly coloured by the annoying conversion of other self-promoting customers I was forced to endure and not the staff who were friendly enough. The sandwich wasn't cheap, but was good for sure, and generous on the toppings. They do small coffees and I'm glad for that because I sort of feel that is the needed "diversity in the portfolio" small businesses seem to need these days to survive and give their teams something to do between meal peaks. This place is nice enough looking to double as a coffee shop after lunch time and (currently) has no tall buildings to the east so should get morning sun if their hours allow. I don't know if I'd do it again, but I'm glad we went and I do feel there is room for this business in Squamish as many of the other places are either more "sit-down" or big box fast food,.. so if you just want a sandwich and don't want to go to the chicken place on the highway,... this is a good option.

Great service, atmosphere, super clean. The sandwich was a bit messy to eat so get it to go. So yummy!

On a recent vacation to Vancouver, my hubs and I drove up to Squamish on our way to visit a friend…read morein Whistler. It's only our second time here but it still has a great, kick-back vibe. Of course we had to stop by our favorite cafe and donut shop, Fox & Oak. Love how they have a good variety of vegan and regular options for the donuts (they have gluten free too). I am not vegan but I can't digest milk protein well so I am always looking for dairy-free and vegan options. We got a vegan cinnamon sugar donut, regular passion fruit donut, and vegan apple fritter with raspberry icing to go. While at Whistler, we broke out all three and shared them before having lunch at Hunter Gather. All the donuts were delish!! We were all impressed by how fresh and soft they all were. Also, I didn't think I'd like the apple fritter with raspberry icing that much but I ended up liking it the most! On our way back from Whistler to Vancouver, we couldn't help it--we stopped and got two more donuts! Yep, it was a double donut day. I am not ashamed to admit it. Don't judge me until you try this place. Thank you, Fox & Oak!

Once we tasted the donuts and coffee we understood why there was a line. 3. We liked sitting outside where you had a nice view and could enjoy the sun.

This was a great find while passing through Squamish this summer! It's an interesting place with…read morekind of an old-time homey feel to the decor, and they also sell some Italian groceries which you can browse while waiting in line. The menu has an Italian and Greek touch. They also have a full coffee menu, and I noticed the tea selection was especially impressive with quality brands. I got a green olive sandwich, which was an interesting combination of hummus, fig spread and fresh figs, olives, and arugula on a pita. I thought it worked surprisingly well! The overall flavour profile of the sandwich was savoury - the figs didn't stand out as sweet when combined with the other ingredients. I also got an iced tea (lapsang souchong - a tea that I really like but rarely see in tea shops) and what they called an "ugly but beautiful" cookie. I don't know what the type of cookie is actually called, but it seemed like a meringue-based biscotto with crunchy nuts inside. It was good - I liked the texture! I liked how they decorated the store, it had a homey vintage look. They were swamped when we visited but the staff was very pleasant nonetheless!

It was stacked with plenty of meat! I wish it had a bit more of the veg, but it was quite filling with all the meat. The brown sugar hojicha was pretty good. Even though it had a brown sugar syrup, it wasn't too sweet. Overall, it was a great snack and I'd probably stop by again (:
