Stopped in to grab a warm drink after a chilly hike this morning. Decided on a mocha (despite being tempted by the hot chocolate festival flavours...but needed some coffee in the mix). The owner or worker here is super rude all the time! The few times I've been here I've always been appalled at the way the guy talks to his customers. I've seen him blatantly be rude to so many people which is so uncomfortable. The coffee is overpriced and not even good. I'm a Squamish local and I always tell people to avoid this spot. Someone needs to tell the guy in there to be more pleasant and maybe he'll be able to grow his business. Being kind doesn't cost anything. read more

Very rude barista (owner?), average coffee. Go to Ledge or Zephyr one block over. Coffee wasn't bad, but unfortunately I won't be going back after choosing to try this coffee shop out for the first time for a short (less than 1 hour) business meeting. Before we had even managed to finish our drinks, we were loudly told to pack up and leave or buy another round because the barista wanted to turn tables over. It would be a fair enough request (to make politely) if we had been there all day, and if there were no seats available, but neither was the case in our situation. read more

Fantastic quality coffe every time I go there. This is the only one outstanding quality coffee you can get in Squamish. Mike knows his stuff about coffee and will always share some cool facts about different kinds f beans, regions or roasting methods. I have been buying my beans there and it's worth the price! Nestled right in downtown Squamish is a coffee shop. I was introduced to this coffee shop one day when I told someone that Starbucks coffee just wasn't keeping me awake anymore. First impression of this store was that it was well light, its wood paneled walls and cabinet tops gave the business character. I could see myself studying with a cup of coffee at this place. I've only dealt with one person in the shop, Mike (?), and he was very knowledgeable about his coffee. First time I was at the shop, I asked for espresso and was given a really flavourful, fragrant and long drawn cup. Loved it! I was awake and alert for the rest of the day. Second time, I tried the cold brew coffee. It was limited in quantity and people I knew were strongly recommending this drink. It wasn't as fragrant as the espresso and it didn't really give me the pick-me-up I needed. I think the espresso is out of this world, and I would have that drink over and over again. read more

Have not encountered such an 'anti-customer' attitude from behind the counter of a coffee shop in a very long-time. Whilst I had been pre-warned by numerous locals to steer clear, I thought I'd give it a go, as other online reviews say the coffee is awesome. Don't know til you try right? Well, it was clear the guy serving did not want to be there (public holiday) and seemed annoyed to have customers in the shop and when I interacted with him I was scowled at. I subsequently walked out before ordering - the coffee may be great ..... I will never know. read more

Stopped here on our way to whistler, I'm visiting from Detroit and was delighted to hear that mike is actually familiar with some of the local coffee shops in Detroit. Some reviews claim the customer service was poor- I disagree. Not every coffee shop is going to cater to your WiFi needs, that's what Starbucks is for. read more

I was planning to meet a colleague here mid morning. It was deserted, bar one other pair of patrons, so I set up away from them. I was curtly told to move to a cramped corner because I was taking up too much space... In an empty shop (the other patrons had left) . I left to find a more welcoming environment, and won't be coming back. read more

(Sorry, Timmy, but . . . . ) Having watched several excellent coffee shops come and go, I had to see what this one had to offer. Wow! Mike really knows his stuff.
