Stopped by Beachcomber Coffee while exploring Gibsons, and I really liked the vibe of the place: bright, laid-back, and very "Sunshine Coast." I ordered the iced Canadiano, which was smooth, bold, and refreshing; definitely a fun twist if you're into iced espresso drinks. That said, the service was incredibly slow. There wasn't a huge line, but it still took quite a while to get our drinks. It's the kind of place where you'll need to have a little extra patience, especially during busier times. Great coffee, great branding, but just be prepared for a bit of a wait.

Fav stop when we come to the Gibson / Sunshine Coast! Great coffee and amazing donuts. Super cute decor. Friendly staff. Love the yellow!

Flat white. Not really it but coffee itself was good.

Nice coffee shop in downtown Gibsons. The plus point is the opening hours. It opens at 7 am which is great for the morning risers and those coming in on the first ferry from Horseshoe Bay. The menu is simple. Coffee, sandwiches and some breakfast wraps. The highlight will be the donuts and baked goods. I had a flat white and apple fritter. The apple fritter was quite huge and deliciously sticky. The flat white (not exactly it) was very strong and perfect to jolt you awake.

Such a cute cafe right in the heart of Gibsons! We stopped by here for a morning coffee and the service was so fast! The staff were all very nice and the coffee was great as well. I loved all the little plants they have growing out of their branded mugs, so cute!! It's a bit dark inside the cafe but it was still a super nice vibe. Will definitely revisit if I'm back on the Sunshine Coast :)

Great service, was quick and yummy. My mocha was delicious and the breakfast wraps were tasty but the panini maker slightly charred the outside giving the wrap a slightly bitter finish. Overall though they were yummy and worth a second trip!

Be still, my heart. If you are a coffee connoisseur, this place is a must visit. Locally based, Beachcomber offers coffee that's roasted in small batches. They've also got patio seating, which is perfect when you're wanting some fresh air amidst the whole pandemic nightmare. My friends and I ended up ordering some dark roast drip coffee and maaaan, when they say dark roast, they mean DARK ROAST! The Beachcomber Dark has an incredible kick and the dark chocolate and caramel flavours pair so well with an old fashion doughnut. If you like adding cream or sugar to your coffee, Beachcomber offers the usual classics as well as dairy alternatives such as oat or soy, which was awesome. We ended up buying some beans to take with us, because although we were also told that their coffee could be found at groceries stores in the lower mainland, this was the first time we had come across them. Absolutely love, love, love! Will definitely visit again the next time I'm in town.

Loved the vibe of this coffee shop on the Sunshine Coast and was a big fan of their merchandise. We got a latte to go and even got some of their beans to take home. We also ended up getting two of their donuts which was a great pairing with the coffee. Would highly recommend on the coast!

Iced mocha and apple fritter. They have apple fritter Fridays

Great AIRCONDITIONED place to sit and enjoy an iced mocha. The servers were really nice and helpful and the drinks was tasty. I give it a 4 stars because the apple fritter was just ok-tasting. Also, the washroom is really dark. On the day I went, a LOT of people seemed to be using the washroom. I'm typically afraid of public restrooms to begin with so when I saw the toilet was black, I decided to hold it in

First time to the Sunshine Coast. We stayed not far from this coffee place. The atmosphere was really laid back and we liked it. The store front got ample sunlight which was a big plus. Coffee was good. The girls work there were friendly and quick. We tried the breakfasts sandwiches for a couple of days. All of us (there were 8) liked it - age 8 the 80! Would recommend anyone visiting the area to come by and enjoy a cup of joe there at the beachcombers.

Nice coffee and drinks. Their canned ice tea is made from coffee coffee leaves, which sustainable and delicious because it's not sweet. Their donuts are yummy. Only got to try the sour patch kids and chocolate churro, but will definitely try the other ones when I get the chance to. They have pizza as well. Some seatings inside and some outside. Very friendly staff and clean place. Street parkings and easy to find. Loud music and chill vibe, with simple decor.

Beachcomber coffee swag ... also holds wine!

This will be a regular stop for coffee and snacks while in Gibsons. Beachcomber had attentive staff, great coffee and killer interiors.

We got the Key Lime Tart which was too heavy on the cream cheese with not enough citrus flavour making it taste more like a cheesecake than a tart. The almond apple tart had a lot of frangipane and a good tart crust but the apple part was missing. The carrot cake slice didnt have enough tang in the cream cheese frosting and the flavours of the cake fell flat. Their other baked goods were a bit better with the berry muffin being not too oily or sweet but a bit dry, the texture of the jalapeño and cheddar scone was fluffy and light but I could hardly taste any cheese. The veggie puff was the favourite being flavourful and light. We also grabbed a bag of their white chocolate chip macadamia nut cookies (gf) and molasses cookies because they were day olds and half off and these were some of the better treats we tried from here. Overall, we had high expectations and were unfortunately let down by the treats at Sandy's.

Today, I decided to give it another try, just for the sake of nostalgia. I wouldn't make that mistake again. The staff were rude, they didn't thank me for coming in, they had to be asked to bring my hot chocolate to the table, my sandwich was not cut in half. The ham sandwich was lukewarm. The staff never inquired to how my food was. I spent over $45.00 on one ham sandwich, four cookies, two brownies and one very watery hot chocolate. Their prices are outrageous! The food was terrible, the hot chocolate was very watered down and the staff was rude. The only music was nonstop, "Beach Boys". The food selection was small. I wouldn't make the mistake of ever eating there again.
