Quite a big bakery with from beverages and pastries. They sell fresh bread and pastries. There are muffins, pies, cakes, cookies, brownies, and more. Friendly staff and clean place with their own parking space outside. The taste and style of the cake is more European. Simple and sweet, but tasty.

Cute bakery with lovely presentation on their baked goods that taste good. Got a couple breakfast sandwiches and muffin to share for breakfast. Muffin was kinda tasteless but definitely freshly made. Breakfast sandwiches needed salt. Expensive for what you get, but for what is available in Gibsons, pretty good. Service was absent minded but they were teenagers who were trying their best. Cozy, small place with a lot of IKEA furnishings, silverware and decor with a cabin theme. Free wi-fi. We got the Key Lime Tart which was too heavy on the cream cheese with not enough citrus flavour making it taste more like a cheesecake than a tart. The almond apple tart had a lot of frangipane and a good tart crust but the apple part was missing. The carrot cake slice didnt have enough tang in the cream cheese frosting and the flavours of the cake fell flat. Their other baked goods were a bit better with the berry muffin being not too oily or sweet but a bit dry, the texture of the jalapeño and cheddar scone was fluffy and light but I could hardly taste any cheese. The veggie puff was the favourite being flavourful and light. We also grabbed a bag of their white chocolate chip macadamia nut cookies (gf) and molasses cookies because they were day olds and half off and these were some of the better treats we tried from here. Overall, we had high expectations and were unfortunately let down by the treats at Sandy's.

There wasn't much of a crowd, and there was plenty of seating available both indoors and outdoors. The service was quick, and everyone was friendly. We ordered eggs, coffee, a breakfast platter, and a peanut butter pastry. The eggs were well made, and the food overall was good. While it wasn't quite a 5/5 for me, it was definitely enjoyable, especially considering the limited breakfast options in the area. The café has a very cute small-town vibe, which adds a lot to the experience and makes it a nice place to relax and enjoy a meal. I also have to give them extra credit for something that meant a lot to me personally. I had accidentally lost my bag during our trip near this cafe, and some kind strangers turned it in to the café. The staff kept it safe until we came back looking for it. I was incredibly relieved and grateful. This act of honesty and kindness is something I will always remember, and it definitely earns this place a few extra points in my book. Overall, I would definitely go back again for the friendly service, cozy atmosphere, great location, and the kindness that helped turn a stressful situation into a happy ending.
