There's a reason Delany's Coffee House was voted as the North Shore News: Readers Choice - Favourite Coffeehouse - from 2019-2023. With North Shore locations in Edgemont, Lynn Valley and Dundarave, this family owned establishment always delivers great drinks, food and service.

Superb cafe selections here including sub sandos (try their Italiano!), breakfast burritos, sausage rolls (the best), scones (yum cheddar and jalapeño), croissants, and all the drinks. Perfect stop on the way up to or back from Lynn Canyon in the quaint neighborhood of Edgemont. Had to buy extra for takeaway so I could partake later.

The ladies at the counter were helpful answering our menu questions. It was busy for a Thursday morning when we arrived, still some seating left though. Hot Vanilla Latte with 2 shots of espresso. 5/5 Perfectly sweet and strong Hot Zen Matcha half sweet 5/5. Again perfect sweetness with still strong Matcha flavor. Tons of sweet treats to try, but I didn't get any this time. I would return if we're in the area again.

Finally checked out this coffee shop a few weeks back and was pleasantly surprised. Got hooked on their hot mocha when I discovered they top it with chocolate whipped cream! Tried the salted caramel frozen drink and found the flavor a little overwhelming, but the mocha frozen drinks people came out with looked delicious. What I really liked here was they offer a kids hot chocolate for $2. The kids love it and you get a break on the price as most small hot chocolates tend to start at $4.95. There's a nice array of baked goods and their chicken sandwich looked rather tasty too. Will be back to try that! It's busy, but there's a decent amount of seating available outside so there's a good chance of getting a seat. There's a good array of choice for everyone so worth a visit. Currently they're renovating, so the toilet was unavailable but hopefully that'll be over soon.

Locally run coffee shop in Edgemont Village. Parking is available on all the streets, as well as a certain nearby underground lot. The place is quite modern and hipster, with plenty of wood trim. Almost felt like I was in someone's chalet cabin. There are some booths inside, as well as outdoor seating on the N and E sides. The staff here seem quite cheerful and happy to be there, which is nice and refreshing for a change. Pricing is surprisingly reasonable. I was pleasantly surprised. The Cookie Monster chiller is pretty tasty for those who have a sweet tooth. Basically a chocolate smoothie with whipped cream and Smarties. Definitely will be back next time I'm in the area to try their mocha chiller. Recommended.

There are more gift stores than food outlets in Edgemont Village, thus Delany's always being a bit busy and cramped. It's perfect for a tiny groups who've been shopping and want to grab coffee. The lattes are excellent and they have a great range of cakes. Today I had a corned beef sandwich. Yummy onions, horseradish and cheese where in the toasted bun. Ordering the sandwich was a little confusing. I think they have lots of regulars who know the drill. Sandwiches are made one direction and coffee the other. It's pick up from the bar for coffee and table service for the sandwich. But they didn't tell me so I awkwardly hovered.

Love Delaney's! I always buy their espresso for home. Great perk that you get a free drip coffee when you buy beans. Yummy treats too!

I'm not a vegan. I'm about as close to being a vegan as a…read morefish is to climbing a tree and eating a banana. I'm as carnivorous as it gets. This is my Vegan Story at Cafe Crema. Stepping into others' imprinted snow footsteps trying not to slip and fall onto the newly fallen snow, we made it into Cafe Crema in West Vancouver. The first thing with this place that gets you is the vibe. Mood lighting, lovely high tables and plenty of space. You can sit there, and daydreaming in this place is highly encouraged preferably with a glass of bold red and a slice of Margherita Pizza. I didn't really know what I wanted, which rarely happens, but this was one of those special occasions where you just let spontaneity take over. I was going to just have a coffee, but as I approached the register area to order my Americano, I kept seeing this glimmer in the corner of my eye. It was quite bright, but just a glimmer, so I looked over and it was just this muffin sitting there in the display. I asked the cashier what muffin that was, and I was told that it was the Vegan Banana Chocolate Muffin. "Vegan?" I asked. He said, "Yup." I almost walked away trying to find something else, but the damn thing looked so good. So, reluctantly I decided to try a Vegan Muffin. I said to myself, "well, what's the worst that could happen? I'll just throw it out if I don't like it." That winking-luring Vegan muffin was so good that it actually trumped many of the dairy based muffins I've had in the past. I'll tell you how and why. First, it was rich, creamy, dense, moist on the inside and crispy on the outside. You could taste the Cocoa and hint of Banana and nuts throughout. As much as all the ingredients together gave the muffin its wonderful taste, you could also taste each component individually. I don't have a sweet tooth at all, and it's rare to find me ordering desert or eating muffins. I ate this damn thing like I just discovered the taste of sweet for the first time. Between this awesome Vegan muffin, the great Americano and this cozy little lamp on the table and the beautiful glowing white snow on Bellevue Drive, this indeed was a memorable experience and a one time love affair with a Vegan Muffin. (No, I hadn't smoked anything that day.)

To die for!! We ordered the coconut cream cake, apple pie croissant and an iced vanilla latte. The…read morelatte could've definitely been stronger but the pastries were out this world!! The coconut cream cake was fluffy, light and not too sweet. The apple pie croissant was so unique- apple pie filling inside a croissant with sugary crumble on top! The location is also pretty spacious and has some scenic outdoor seating facing the water. It does get busy but the customers cycle out fairly quickly.

Its a very small spot, worth the wait if there is one (holds about 25ppl max). The vibe is japanese/asian/french type of food in our opinion. Everything we ordered was great, stuffed meatballs, truffle omelet, grilled cheese sloppy Joe, bone marrow omelet and 2 drinks total of about $140 without tip. We drove 30 minutes to get here and was worth it. Not familiar with the area we parked in a garage near the building which was $5/hour (made for the restaurant above). So find street paid parking.

It…read moreseems they've since replaced the original version (with pistachio crème and ice cream) with a seasonal pistachio strawberry French toast ($21). I also got an Americano ($4.50), which tasted alright. Having a tangier fruit like strawberry provided a nice contrast to the sweetness of the French toast. However, I found the pistachio sauce to be quite weak and milky, so I'd suggest making it more pistachio-forward. This is especially noticeable since they use milk bread rather than a richer option like brioche, which left the overall dish lacking the flavour punch I was hoping for. That said, I found their food and drink options more unique compared to a standard brunch menu, so I'd be interested in returning with a bigger group to try more items. Their Thai chocolate and pistachio latte sound especially interesting!
