It was unsweetened but still good. The fried chicken sandwich didn't come with any side but it was sufficient. Nicely fried. Not oily. I liked it. I also got a lemon cookie which was from Wilder. It's huge and very delicious. I like the tangy taste of lemon in the cookie. Parking is available around the shop but it's limited to 30 mins. Not much time for a proper sit down meal.

The staff were friendly and service was very quick! There was never a wait and we sat at the stools where the chefs prepared all the food each time. It was very neat to see all of our food prepared in front of us. We went about 3 times while we stayed in Whistler and each time was better than the last! I like it rendered down more. 3/5. Barely served with anything. Main problem and theme throughout is the poor value. The portions are all tiny for the prices you pay. Yes it is Whistler and its in a lodge with lots of tourists. But still, if you're going to charge these astronomical prices and have tiny portions, then the execution better be immaculate, which it definitely is not. I ordered a smoked salmon crepe for $33. Don't think I've been so disappointed in a crepe before. The buckwheat crepe had a really bad chalky/gritty taste that stayed in my mouth long after the meal, even after drinking a lot of water. The texture of the crepe overpowered even the taste of the smoked salmon. For $33, there also wasn't a lot of smoked salmon inside the crepe, which is quite disappointing. Not sure if it's because we came for lunch instead of their breakfast menu; I feel like a shot for better food might be to come in the morning instead of in the afternoon.
