This is a popular spot as there is a big space for dining in. There are a few cafes in the area but most are smaller. We decided to get some food here. Placed our order at the counter and got a table. You get your own drink at the counter but they will deliver the hot food to your table. I liked the coffee at Forecast in West Van, so I was pleasantly surprised to know they have outlets in Whistler area now. I decided on matcha latte since I already had coffee in the morning. It was unsweetened but still good. The fried chicken sandwich didn't come with any side but it was sufficient. Nicely fried. Not oily. I liked it. I also got a lemon cookie which was from Wilder. It's huge and very delicious. I like the tangy taste of lemon in the cookie. Parking is available around the shop but it's limited to 30 mins. Not much time for a proper sit down meal. read more

Forecast Coffee is such a perfect neighborhood Whistler spot. The last time we went I think we went everyday the whole time we were in Whistler. I always go for the avocado toast with a side of sausage. The breakfast sandwich's are always a hit. The salmon sandwich amazing! We also ordered just bacon and toast! Cooked perfectly!The line moves quickly and everyone is so friendly. If you order the breakfast sandwich and want your egg more hard ask for extra hard due to sometimes the eggs come out more runny! Stumbled on Forecast when looking for quick breakfast options that were on our route to Whistler Olympic Park... and wound up coming back a second time because their breakfast sandwich blew our minds. Their breakfast sandwich comes in three varieties: bacon, sausage, and veggie. All three are served on the most delightful brioche bun with a perfect cheese selection and an egg made fresh to order (literally watched the guy crack the eggs to be cooked). The accompaniments on each sandwich are perfectly curated to create a symphony of flavors and textures, and it was the perfect serving size to leave us feeling full but not stuffed for our subsequent Nordic ski adventures. In addition to an impeccable breakfast sandwich, the vibe at Forecast is instantly cozy and welcoming, with high ceilings, tons of seating, and airy wood and plant decor. Their extensive menu is displayed on the wall, featuring a number of different sandwiches and breakfast options as well as all of your classic coffee shop drinks. They offer bags of their freshly roasted coffee for purchase as well (when we purchased one, the printed date showed us it was roasted just 3 days prior!!). I'm more of a tea person, but I really enjoyed the option to have a London Fog, and my coffee-inclined friends raved about several of their roasts. We got an iced oat latte with honey, espresso over ice, and the chicken pesto sandwich. All three were 5 stars!! Best oat latte I've had in a while. Both coffees were so smooth and balanced. It's a big open space, and it seems like the owners originally wanted a night club instead of a coffee house. This wasn't bad nor was it good. **Cheddar & Chive Scone (7/10) ~ So I'm not sure if I can give this an honest review, but I actually ended up eating my scone 3-4 hours after I purchased it. All I can say is, is that it lasted awhile! It wasn't rock solid by the time I had a bite and the flavor was interesting. It was a little salty, but good! this was my last visit to this location. this past week I've had 3 bad experiences here. the staff are not very friendly and have forgotten to make items from our order 2 out of the last 3 times and gotten the coffee wrong both times. once wrong size, one wrong milk. most of the tables are taken up by laptops even though their tables have no laptop stickers on them. no one cares, customers or staff. inconsistency in the food, never made the same way twice, sometimes a wrap is full, sometimes it's falling apart with barely any filling. if the wrong person makes a breakfast sandwich it's barely edible and ends in the trash. it used to be my favourite cafe in whistler. now I would never recommend anyone go here, it's just not a nice environment anymore. new management need to do some barista training The work from home crew have ruined the atmosphere Here. Loved the food! It's so hard to find places that have breakfast choices out of the norm. I went to the one in whistler village which is behind the armchair bookstore. The woman working recommended the sweet chili cauliflower wrap and it was excellent! It was so flavorful, I hope to have it again soon! The overnight oats were delicious and I'm not one to order a dish like that so it was a nice surprise. There was plenty of space to sit comfortably and eat which is great because it's not always the case in whistler village. Looking forward to coming here in the future. read more

A very cute coffee shop near Whistler. The coffee was really delicious, the store was clean and organized, and the staff were friendly. It checks all the boxes! We stopped here before heading home after a day on the mountain. It's nice because it's out of the way of the busy Whistler village but that also means it takes a bit longer to get to. This is my favorite coffee shop on the sea to sky corridor. A little tucked away in the Function Junction area, but there's plenty of parking, great design and attention to detail in the setup of the food, product and seating area, and the selection of freshly roasted beans is great. (I was told that they roast their beans regularly). Everything is fairly priced and delish, with options for drinks, food, and snacks. The drinks I ordered here thus far have been really well made - one was a bloom latte (made with tea) which was light with nice flavor. The other I got was a vanilla latte with coconut milk. I particularly enjoyed that I could still taste the coffee and that it was not overpowered by the milk or flavors. There is plenty of seating for dining, chatting, working and hanging out. Forecast Coffee was everything we were looking for after a day on the slopes! Plenty of parking and no wait. I had a delicious hot chocolate with Baileys while lounging on one of the well-spaced couches. My partner ordered the $6 fries - the size was substantial and a great value for the price. The fries were crispy and fresh with a scrumptious garlic aioli dipping sauce. Forecast Coffee in Function Junction has quickly become my favorite coffee shop in the Whistler area (and I'm picky about my coffee). Got the Hero Dirt dark roast when badly in need of a strong cup of coffee. And wow, from the first sip, I was sold! And broke out into a big smile of satisfaction one gets from a really good cup of coffee. I'd be coming back everyday of my trip. The service is also great (the barista even offered me some steamed milk), and my breakfast sandwich (sausage, egg, cheese) was gourmet delicious. Just what I needed before my hike. Also liked the chill coffee shop ambiance. The next day I tried the one at Whistler village.
