Back at Yvonne's for the second time, and it won't be my last! This is such a beautiful, romantic…read morespeakeasy-style restaurant with an intimate, moody atmosphere that makes the whole experience feel special. I came with a group of four, which I highly recommend because the menu is designed for sharing. We ordered several dishes so we could try a little bit of everything. The crab beignets were probably my least favorite and something I'd skip next time, but the seared halloumi was delicious, the Lazy Lobster Dumplings were a MUST, and the Mediterranean Chicken was so flavorful and satisfying. And then there's the Prime Rib Chop, absolutely cannot come here without ordering it. It was easily top 5 best steak I've ever had! For dessert we tried the creme brûlée , the cheesecake and the carrot cake- honestly they were all unique and great. Yvonne's is definitely pricey, but I think it's worth it for the food, ambiance, and overall experience. Come with a group, share a bunch of plates, order the Prime Rib Chop and lobster dumplings, and enjoy the night. This is the kind of place that feels perfect for a special occasion or a romantic night out.

Beautiful place though, hostesses/greaters not very friendly and took a while to get service at the bar when it wasn't crowded. While the kitchen delivered a solid meal, the service was so profoundly disappointing that it completely overshadowed the food. The culinary side of things easily earns a solid 3.5 out of 5 stars. We ordered a wide variety of items to share, and the highlights included: * The Pizzas: Creative flavor combinations with fresh, high-quality toppings and fantastic crusts. * The Bucatini Pasta: Perfectly cooked and packed with rich flavor. * The Asparagus Appetizer & The Chicken Milanese: Both executed well, flavorful, and cooked to a high standard. Unfortunately, the front-of-house experience was uniformly horrible. For a large party, hospitality can make or break the night, and our server missed the mark at every single turn: * Argumentative & Dismissive: He actively argued with our host regarding an appetizer that had been ordered in advance. When asked about vegetarian substitutions for a sold-out pasta dish, he curtly replied, "Pasta with butter is all we can do"--despite the fact that we could clearly see a wide variety of fresh vegetables being used right on their pizzas. * Inattentive: Dirty dishes piled up on our table, and when we politely asked for them to be cleared, he claimed he needed to get help and walked away completely empty-handed. Our drink orders were rarely checked on or refilled. * Rude to Guests: He displayed visible attitude and put-off body language whenever anyone asked a simple question. This peaked when he was outright rude to one of the young women in our party who simply wanted to put her order in a bit early because she had to leave before the rest of the group. It is a real shame because the ingredients and the kitchen's output are genuinely good. However, between the hostile attitude and the lack of basic service standards, we unfortunately won't be rushing back.

I ordered a draft beer from a large selection of drafts and bottle, cans options. It was Jack Abbey beer... pint came 3/4 full as left a large head on beer and better for establishment pours 12-14 oz in a 16 oz glass.. Beer was warm... bad demerit again Ordered steak tips which came with three large tips on a bed of mashed potatoes, spinach . It had some sour hot nasty pepper garnish.. I wanted roasted red or green peppers with the tips instead. Steak tips were just ok and needed a marinate or side of a dipping bbq sauce or mushroom sauce or anything. Spinach, mashed potatoes needed more butter or garlic flavoring... fresh tasting but bland. Needs more steak tips too for the price tag. It was a nice bar vibe for drinks. The chicken wing lollipops I saw for an appetizer looked tasty. I left hungry for more steak tips and wanted a charcoal char on my tips . I wanted my spinach on the side with a garlic oil next to sone grilled oil drizzled roasted peppers . I don't consider these some of Boston best but certainly not the worst .

Service was great and everything we got were delicious: - Kestra Breakfast Plate: 5/10 I was a bit disappointed that I could only pick one protein, got the sausages and it was laughable how small the portion was. There seemed to be more potatoes than anything else. Regardless, I think everything was cooked well and tasted great. - Turkish Breakfast: 7/10, was surprisingly good! I've never eaten a block of Feta before but it was very fresh and not overpowering. They had fancy HEIRLOOM tomatoes so that was a nice and refreshing surprise. - Short Rib Hash: 8.2/10, a great value! The only thing is that the short rib was dry... but overall still tasty and filling. - fruit bowl: 9/10, the fruit bowl is ENORMOUS! Super large portion of pineapple, honey dew, orange cantaloupe, grapes, Raspberry, strawberry, blueberry. - Lemon Ricotta pancakes: 7.2/10, great texture of pancakes had a nice bounce to it and slightly mochi like. I had to have a side of maple syrup because they didn't give enough lemon compote. - Croissant: 1000/10, I ordered Ala carte and this was top 2 best PLAIN croissant I had. Great meal to end the upper US marathon vacation!!…read more We had no idea where we may end up eating but the trusty Yelp app led us to another victory dance!! Yay for Yelp!! We had just cruised the nearby mall center thingy and were hungry on our last night in Boston. We saw the sites and did the things. Boston is a one of a kind place for sure. This was the choice. It was a great choice! Beautifully decorated and oh so chill inside. We have a thing that we do at places with great appetizers. We just order a bunch of those and feast. That's what we did here! We started with some raw oysters. They were very nice indeed. Island Creek Oysters from Duxbury MA. is where they came from. We love the little local Junts a lot and had them all over the northeast while we were there. We also had Crab Rangoon Dip. Very good, lots of fresh lump crabmeat, with a house chili crisp, scallions, and wonton chips. Loved it! They we had some fantastic mussels to close the deal! The flavor was amazing! I wish I could have them every single day! We also had a bowl of BPH Clam Chowder. CC is one of my favorite things and this place did not disappoint in any way! Delicious!! The server was great. She took great care and made our last night in Boston an unforgettable experience. If you are near, you should go right now! Why aren't you there yet? '26 - 108
