No one in line. Was greeted right away. Ordered a French dip to go. Sandwich was prepared quickly. The dining area is very nice. Very well decorated and clean. Sandwich was very hot! The sandwich and Au Jus were so good!

The pastrami Ruben was fantastic! The meat was just Livy tender and warm and the kraut was perfect. Glad we stopped in for lunch and the service was great lived the sourdough option for anything and was glad I opted for it!

I see this place has mixed reviews which initially had me unsure if I should give it a chance or not. Here to say that I'm glad I did! The bread and ingredients were fresh! The staff were friendly and my sandwich was ready within 5 minutes from ordering! Restaurant was clean and spacious, although I took my order to go, because I was just passing through. Only knock on the place is that it's a little pricey, but honestly everything is nowadays!

This is supposed to be a "bowl" of soup. $10 for this!

Food is good, customer service very friendly, but the prices are outrageous. A sandwich and soup cost me about $25. Yesterday I ordered the bowl of Clam Chowder. $10. But their version of a bowl was like a cup. See attached photos. Ten bucks for a cup of soup! Not returning here.

Delicious clam chowder in super soft bread bowl

Kind service and delicious food. It was a busy evening with a line so I might try to order ahead of time or to-go order.

Place order, drool at tasty sides & desserts and sit at different seating options.

Friendly staff, including Jass helped with recommended hot brisket sandwich which was yummy on soft sourdough bread. I ordered warmed pastrami Reuben that was delicious with flavorful crunchy sauerkraut. Best of all was the huge sliced dill pickle that accompanied the sandwich. Well kept seating and kitchen with one of the leanest bathrooms ever. Great soups, sandwiches & salads for travelers on Hwy 101! Much appreciated.

Grilled chicken Cesar salad

USED to be my favorite place to get a salad. No longer my favorite. I used to get a salad that looked like they actually made it, they would put a lot of chicken and croutons in it. Not anymore, there's a new team of workers there that are all Indian, I'm assuming they're family, that's what I've heard. They all look like they don't know what they're doing, barely speak English, and they're STINGY. I paid $15 for what looks like a premade lousy salad. There was barely any croutons and not enough chicken. The whole bowl was basically lettuce which isn't the same kind of lettuce they used to have. Also, when you get a salad it comes with sourdough and butter, but of course they didn't give me any butter. Thank you for the dry sourdough, the old lettuce salad, and making me feel unwelcome. (And if you get a salad they always have small bowls so you can't mix it up without making a mess)

Use to be good but now it's terrible, portions are smaller, too salty, and cheap quality food.

I found this restauraunt on Yelp and we reserved it for my birthday dinner on a Saturday night. We sat by the window and had a beautiful view of the sunset and bay. Upon being seated we were served some bread with some whipped butter mixed with some sort of seafood I believed? I forgot, but the butter was delicious. Our first round of bread however, was average at best and was very dense and doughy. The next rounds of bread were significantly better though, so maybe there's an inconsistency with the way they bake their bread in-house. I ordered the seafood penne pasta and my boyfriend ordered the king salmon with risotto. Both were "specials" and were not on the menu. However after digging into reviews here, it seems they are not so much specials since both dishes have been served here for the past 7ish years. Seafood penne pasta: I would rate a 3/5, maybe a 2.5/5. The pasta itself was not al dente which was disappointing. The "star" of this dish was supposed to be the scallop, which was severely undercooked! It was super soft and mushy. The shrimp was alright...some were overcooked. The salmon was also dry. I think the only thing I really enjoyed was the mussels, clams, and the sauce. The sauce had some curry with a small kick to it. This dish was just okay. Escargot: We ordered as our appetizer, I'd give it a 3.5/5! The escargot was a little soft but paired wonderfully with the bread. Creme brûlée: 3/5. Our waitress kindly put a birthday candle on it for my birthday. :) I enjoyed it, and it was very custardy! The downside was that the sugar on top was too burnt. I can't speak much for my boyfriend's dish, I did have a bite of his salmon and it was alright, maybe a bit too salty. The service however was wonderful and our waitress was super kind and helpful. Maybe I would come back to try another dish if I'm back in the area.

Then I wanted/needed another night cap so we ended here ,where there was another party happening!! Quality/Quantity - Simple menu done well. Better if you have been drinking the whole evening as I have been. See menu on website of "Nibbles" offered. Or check out my pictures. See picture of snack table. I noticed many people did NOT know this was available, and ordered their own nibbles(identical type of snacks). I basically ordered a glass of Sauvignon Blanc. And as I walked around taking my Yelp pictures, I noticed the snack table, thank you. Atmosphere - What a huge location. The actual lounge was just okay in size, but they are connected to the historic Eagle House and I did not know where the businesses started or ended. Indoor/outdoor dining. Not sure what event was happening today, but there was a live DJ, snacks, etc. Not sure if it was open to the public...? Or if I crashed another party? Either way, I had a great time. Just checked your website; cut and pasted: "Tropical Vibes Happy Hour with DJ RunDat & DJ Spadafora - Join us for some tropical vibes at Phatsy Klines Parlor Lounge, enjoy some delicious cocktails and tasty treats. DJ RunDat & DJ Spadafora will be playing Afro beats with some Latin & Reggae Vibes sprinkled in the mix. Free all ages event." Service - Crazy busy, but they still did a good job managing the crowd. Price - $12 + generous tip. Owner Comments - Congrats on your success since 2017 and sorry to hear about the closure of your sister restaurant Tavern 1888. I was looking forward to visiting them also.

We were served right away and the hostess was very nice and located at two top for us. The wait person was lovely and immediately accommodating. The menu was interesting and inviting. I had to laugh out loud as there is an item on the menu referencing Pee-wee's Playhouse from my childhood. I even asked if it was a Gen X restaurant and sure enough the chef is of my generation. I'm including a picture so IYKYK! The waitress had shared all of the specials, and I was intrigued by the flat iron steak option. It was a flat iron steak with marsala mushroom sauce, and mushroom risotto and asparagus. It was delightful! The meat was perfectly cooked and tender with a lot of beef flavor, offset by a rich marsala mushroom sauce. It was perfectly complimented by one of the top mushroom risotto I have had in my life. It was delectable. And the grilled asparagus side paired nicely with the beef and marsala sauce. It even had a little bit of lemon on the asparagus, which is my preference for it! Overall, this is probably in the top five of all of the restaurant meals I've had in my life. My husband had the mixed beef burger with fries. He said he really enjoyed the burger, and I did steal a tiny taste, and it was perfectly cooked and had a slight gameness that gave it some depth. My husband said that the bun was very nice as well. The fries were perfectly cooked. The burger was perfectly cooked and it wasn't over juicing nor dry. Overall, a really great burger! Funniest thing we noticed was that all of the chairs that were sitting on a cement floor had been given rubber caps for each of the legs so that when you moved the chair, it didn't make a horrible sound. Literally extra 10 points for that alone! I wish this location well and look forward to stopping in the next time we are in the area.

I had oven roasted salmon with what was supposed to be a teriyaki glaze on top but it was more like a syrup. The mushroom risotto was good. The pizzas that we ordered were good. My boyfriend got the breakfast burrito with bacon and it was also flavorful and super yummy. The service was amazing, our food took less than 5 minutes. I was going to have one of the savory crêpes, but then I saw that they had Al Pastor Chilaquiles on the menu. That's what I decided to go for. I ordered breakfast and a cup of coffee. The coffee was good They were pretty busy. My food comes, and it was very good. The chips were crunchy, but not greasy or oily at all, there was plenty of pork, and it had a great flavor. The crema, , the cheese and the salsa, provided a nice pop of flavor as well. She asked me if I wanted green or red salsa, or both. I asked if they were spicy, and she said no, so I chose both.. Red on one side, green on the other. They both had just a little bit of a kick to them. The red salsa had a rich, deep flavor, and I loved the green tomatillo salsa as well. I think the next time, I would ask her to put a couple of eggs on the top. That would've just taken it totally over the top. It was a great meal, and the price was reasonable, as I had plenty to take home. The only reason I'm taking a star off, is because the place was slow. They were a bit busy, and it took 20 minutes for me to get my food. I understand, they may have a small kitchen, but definitely bring your patience. As for the coffee, I only got one cup of coffee. I asked for a refill, she said she had to make a new pot, but by the time my meal was ready, she still didn't have fresh coffee available. How long does it take to make a pot of coffee? Other than those minor hiccups, I would definitely be back. Thank you. I
