So glad to see the Square busy again! Was here last night. The pizza is stunningly great. I had neopolitan with garlic and goat cheese. Soft crust so good. Very friendly staff. read more

Decent meal near Harvard Square station. We got lucky with street parking with the meters right across the street ($0.25 per 10min = $3 for 2hrs parking). We had made a reservation in advance early Friday evening and were seated immediately. There were plenty of tables and seats around. We shared 3 different pizzas and paired the pizza with some glasses of italian red wine. I was somewhat disappointed by the size of the pizza (only 12 inches for the $20 we paid per pie? Come on) but they tasted good. The dough was especially soft and chewy. I wasn't all that impressed with the Merguez pizza (just meh) and think it could've used more spice. The margheria (+pepperoni added) was top notch though. I could see myself coming here after a college late-night drunken splendor or for a chill dinner with friends. read more

My husband loves pizza and likes trying new places. I am more of a creature of habit and not the biggest pizza person. One day I decided to indulge him with pizza and trying a new place after looking on Eater for recommendations. We just had our third delivery tonight and feel like I need to visit in person. Our current faves are the chopped salad (it's addictive), the nyc, and the current seasonal (truffle smoked ricotta, roasted mushrooms, red onion, arugula, prosciutto). The fact we get this delivered to Charlestown with the Uber Eats hiccups and still are obsessed says it all! Try it! read more

Best pizza in Boston! Their pepperoni and island life pizza are unmatched to any pizza I've had. I always order from here and I can confidently say I will not order pizza from anywhere else. Unfortunately.... The service is not great. It is incredibly rushed even when it is not busy! From not being asked for another drink to giving us the check while we were still eating was just embarrassing. read more

The food here was so good. The crispy potatoes weren't as crispy as I thought? The scallop cerviche was delicious (very small portion if you have more than 2 people to share with). The best hands down is the source margarita pizza!! Omg side of ranch amazing. The waitress was very kind! The Monty drink I believe is what it's called. Grapefruit with Prosecco very delicious! Must try. read more

Source supremacy. Such a fun vibe and perfect for both brunch and lunch, though the brunch is better. I can't recommend the pide enough, I've legit been dreaming about it since I went. Pizza is good, though I don't recommend getting it NY style. But the pasta is way better. The brussel sprouts are the BEST, and I also love their drink that comes in a honey jar, the name of which I cannot remember. read more

Had heard good things, stopped in. They deliver us a pizza that looks decent, but when we dive in, the top of the dough is uncooked- like stretchy, cool to the touch, uncooked dough. The other in my party mentioned it before I said anything, so since we agreed, I brought it up with the server. He proceeds to tell me that's how Neapolitan pizza is... that we're just not familiar. Ignoring the patronizing commentary, I ask that they cook it a bit longer. They begrudgingly accept. They then bring us back a newly made pizza with the ENTIRE visible crust completely black. Not spots of char, completely black, burned. Imagine a crust made of charcoal- that's what it was. We took the insult for what it was and left. Went around the corner to Otto's. When looking for great wood-fired pizza, we'll stick with Area 4, and Ciao. Also, their beet salad is 4/10. Beets lacked flavor, and had a mealy texture. Wouldn't recommend the food, nor the service. read more

I got the swordfish-- way oversalted, and it was just a piece of fish with a bit of sauce and a few scattered beans. Too expensive for what it was. read more

A little on the pricier side for ok food and mediocre service. I will say two things, the Margherita pizza was phenomenal and the gentleman at the front door who sat us had an awesome personality and seemed to really care. Margherita pizza had the perfect sauce to cheese ratio and was crunchy while still being soft. I ordered the bucatini which was slightly cold on the outer edges as if it had been sitting. My boyfriend ordered the spaghetti which had an awesome kick and flavor. Our drinks were good, but nothing to gloat about as they were on the pricey end of what you'd expect for cocktails. We wanted to order desert but after waiting over 25 minutes for our check we passed. Ok for a one time bite. Glad we tried it, but nothing impressive to come back for. read more

This is my 2nd time visiting this restaurant and it's just as delicious as I remember it. I took my pictures half way through the meal because the food smelled and looked so good. We got the Brussels sprouts, breakfast pizza and French toast as well as coffee. Definitely don't skip the Brussels sprouts and the breakfast pizza. I had their tea last time and had their coffee this time... I liked the tea better. read more

We had the best time at Source! So much good to say! The location is amazing - right across from the border cafe in Harvard square. The atmosphere inside was modern yet comfortable, with a beautiful view of the Cambridge commons! The food is OUTSTANDING! All their food is farm to table, but doesn't feel stuffy or overdone. Great pizza & pasta, but will be back to try the rest of the menu! Cocktails & beer list was just as great as the food! They also opened during Covid-19 and have been very thoughtful about table spacing with dividers between tables. They also have an air filtration system, which has been proven eliminate 99.4% of airborne germs. All staff wear masks & made us feel very safe. I would 100% recommend and will be going back! If you don't feel comfortable dining in, order take out or delivery! Would make for a great date night at home or perfect for game days eats! read more

Yumm! Our group came for brunch and everyone left happy and full to the brim. The hangover breakfast pizza and potatoes were both very yummy. Source does a great job of utilizing their awesome pizza dough in other items. The breakfast burrito is made with pizza dough and I definitely want to try it next time. Overall a fun vibe in Harvard Square! Cambridge often struggles with parking however there's a paid lot right next door! Would recommend trying Source for Brunch or a later meal. read more

Yum! The food was really delicious and the prices were very reasonable, especially for Harvard campus adjacent. Good vibes, good music, beautiful ivy-covered walls and tree views through the big windows. Some minor complaints: tables were pretty close together and pasta dishes were pretty small. Came at 2pm on a Saturday and had to wait around 20 minutes to get a table. The food took about 15 mins to come out. The food was pretty okay overall, but after having less than half of it, it can get pretty nauseating bc the food was super oily and cheesy. Couldn't finish it even though we were still hungry, so we had to bring it home Wouldn't really come back, better places around the area read more

I just wanted to thank you for all your hard work and effort put in to today's brunch. Everyone kept commenting on how nice the space looked, how cute the menus were and how good the food was! One of the nicest power lunches I've had in a while! The service was warm and efficient and the food was bold and tasty. I ordered the weekday lunch special of calzone and half salad. The portions were generous to say the least. The pepperoni calzone was gooey with cheese, with a sweet and savory taste and a chewy crust. It paired really well with the salad, which had a sharp dressing with thinly sliced red onions and blue cheese and bacon crumbles. The dressing was generous.. the portion sizes were generous... I loved it! Will definitely come back with more people to try the pizza, which was, you guessed it, too generously portioned for one person (at least this reviewer)! read more

Good food, interesting menu with variety, and great service! We had the pork schnitzel, porcini mushroom ravioli, and custom pizza, all of which were very good. We also had the tiramisu and chocolate torte for dessert. The tiramisu was delicious! The chocolate torte was a bit denser than we would have liked (more chocolate pie-like than chocolate mousse-like), but still delicious! read more

i got the following delivered via Grubhub: - NYC STYLE PIZZA (with pepperoni, mushrooms, and red onions): loved how thick the pepperoni were! the onions and mushroom were a great balance to the richness of the pizza. because i got it delivered, the pizza was much soggier than normal because of how thin it was, but i can tell that if i got it at the restaurant, it would be really crispy! - MISO CHILI & CARAMEL GLAZED BRUSSELS SPROUTS: these were perfectly sweet and savory though they were charred more than i expected/ would have liked, pretty much completely burnt. read more

Was railroaded into overpaying for food when we just wanted to get a drink. Also the owner leaves insulting replies (telling people to "grow up" and "be an adult" and personal attacks far worse than that) in response to negative reviews on Google. I figured maybe I had just mis-judged the vibe and it wasn't a "just a drink" place, but after seeing the way the owner has responded, it's clearly not that classy. Maybe the pizza is fine (I wouldn't know), but it is really worth it? read more

If you're looking for a modern Italian restaurant this place was awesome! I really wanted to try the bucatini Pasta because it had great reviews but unfortunately they were all out the night I went. The waitress recommended another pasta dish and it was delicious. We also did the create your own pizza. The atmosphere was great and lively with modern upbeat music. I thought everything was reasonably priced and there was good service. Good drink selection. They also have an outdoor area you can sit at but inside is nice too. Highly recommend Source for a delicious date night spot on a budget! There was a good selection of pizzas, pastas, and some apps, and the location just by the Harvard T stop can't be beat. The service, the food, and the vibe all gave the feeling of a much more expensive restaurant. read more

Pizza was unbelievable! Love that you can make your own NY Style, only downside is having to just pick 3, but my partner and I both mixed it up and shared. The cocktails were unique with great ingredients and taste but both of them should have been double strained. My watermelon cocktail was all shredded mint by the end and the same with the berry cocktail, it kept separating and needing to be stirred. Really comfortable bar to sit at as well. read more

Worst birthday lunch ever -- I mean, literally. This place's staff is garbage which is unfortunate because the food was decent. It seems like they were desperate for someone to work in their restaurant so they picked random people off the side of the road. There was 3 customers in the entire restaurant at 4:00pm including my sister, my niece and I. Everything that could have gone wrong, did. We see our "waiter" leave mid meal. He did not verbalize that he was leaving and nobody came to check in on us when he did leave. We called over a lazy "waitress" that we saw standing around who said our "waiter" was in training. Unfortunately for Source, he was getting trained by NOBODY. He messed up our drinks, came to us telling us he forgot what food we ordered, gave us the wrong drinks. We tried explaining to the "waitress" our concerns she was extremely unapologetic and incredibly rude. She put her sunglasses on while we were talking - visibly ignoring us. Not kid friendly.I'll never be back. read more

We came here and sat outside for dinner. I love the vibe of the restraunt but the food did not put out. The brusell sprouts were burnt to a crisp and was very sweet. We ordered the arugula and prosciutto pizza, i liked the dough but it was more dough than filling, more so like a flatbread than a real pizza because it had no cheese on it. My springtime spritz was not refreshing. Tasted like like water. The octopus was by far the most appealing dish we ordered. I liked whatever sauce it was smothered in, it gave a very umami taste and the octopus was crispy due to semolina crust. My bf went to the bathroom and the host tried to charge him 3$ when he was the one who seated us. Very strange experience. read more

It's a cute brunch place in Cambridge with both an outdoor and indoor seating area. We came here on a Saturday around 1 and had made a reservation in advance. We were promptly seated indoors. The drinks looked interesting but we ended up not ordering any. I got the eggs in purgatory while my friends got the Hungover pizza, neo pizza, and French toast. Everything was great and the dough felt very airy. We also got the burrata and potatoes as appetizers. We didn't like the potatoes that much- there was a lemony taste which we weren't huge fans of. The burrata also tasted slightly too sweet to us and probably wouldn't go for it again. read more

Finally got to try Source in Cambridge! We walked in with a table of 3 around 6 on a Saturday and they were able to seat us but I would definitely try and make a reservation in advance. Indoor seating was nice and open and they also had outdoor seating. We started with the spring salad and I was kind of disappointed... it was basically just lettuce, some pepitas and a bit of Brie with very little dressing. We also got the pepperoni pizza which was so good! Definitely recommend try this one! I would love to go back and try some of their other pizzas! read more

I am someone who always appreciates the time and effort of restaurants and those in the restaurant industry but last night was disappointment from the start. A group of us wanted drinks and were told to go to the bar in which we were immediately told we can't be there after transitioning over and need to keep the space "incredibly clear." They then told us to take a large seating area and we all ordered one drink. The drinks were fine, some better than others and then the bill came. We got an automatic 20% tip charge and a 5% kitchen appreciation fee as well as an extra $1 surcharge for everyone that got Bailey's in their espresso martini. Again, no problem with tipping or paying for an elevated drink but automatically adding these charges when everyone gets ONE drink and then a kitchen fee when no one got food as well as a full dollar surcharge for a typically free ingredient in a drink is highway robbery. read more

I've liked the ambiance of this place in the past, but went over the weekend and was pretty disappointed with the food. A full third of the pizza was just plain dough. I asked if I could get some additional marinara as a dipping sauce, they told me they could charge me for a bowl of it. read more

So I heard about this places pepperoni pizza through TikTok. It looked sooo good I had to drive 45 minutes to try it. When i got it and opened the box, it looked just as expected. First bite was different than i thought it would be. I didn't realize the pepperoni pizza had caramelized onions it. It was horrible but my taste could do without the onions. The crust looked so crispy but to my surprise it was very soft and had no crunch. I love a crust with crunch on the outside and soft on the inside. Overall i would recommend it. read more

I ordered Margherita pizza after seeing the good reviews, but what I was served was definitely not genuine Margherita pizza. The dough was thick. There was an overwhelming amount of tomato paste on top, which gave the pizza an intense sour taste that overpowered all the other ingredients. Essentially it's a American fast food style pizza. Honestly, if you don't know how to make real Margherita pizza, please don't put it on your menu. read more

Source is a Harvard Square staple - consistently good and always a good time! Went there for their new weekend brunch and got to try out their hangover pizza, which has eggs and breakfast sausage on top. Pretty creative choice but it was good!
