    Egg and Bacon Breakfast Sandwich
    Melisa A.

One of my favorite donut shops in Covina. It's always a really great experience. The donuts and breakfast sandwiches are so good. I think they have one of the best apple fritters in the area (crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside, not too sweet and love the chunks of apples in it). They're also well known for their breakfast sandwiches which are always fresh and made to order. The woman behind the counter is always so nice and extremely friendly. This place definitely has its regulars because she already knows what their order is as soon as they come in. Overall, this place is great. It's clean and modern in the shop, yet has that mom and pop feel still. Parking is super easy and it's busy, but you never really have to wait long.

Amazing delicious fresh ham and cheese croissant! So glad I found this place. They also take Apple Pay so it makes everything even more convenient. Nice service and the place is quaint. I will definitely come back again!

Best chicken sandwich freshly made buns are crisp and toasted :))))

The best sandwiches fresh and crisp in town! Every bite was deliciously tasty. Will recommend to friends and coworkers.

Fresh Chicken sandwich (real chicken ) on croissant and one on French roll !! ...french roll is my favorite

I come here EVERY Morning after work to get donuts for me and my kids and Vanessa is so welcoming and nice . They have this new chicken sandwich made with REAL Chicken Not Frozen !

We visited Sophe's on 2/6/24 @10am My boyfriend was going to take Donuts to work for his employees. He wanted to take them some from a Mom and Pops place. I immediately told him to go to Sophe's . We went around 10am, so we know the picking was slim. Since they always sell out early. But we were able to get 2 dozen for his office and 2 extra for my self and my daughter for later. Everything was clean and there is plenty of places to sit. We come here now and again. The donuts are made the same which is nice because they taste the same. Their donuts are fresh and definitely not oily like other places. For 2 dozen and the 2 extra donuts it was $35. We will be coming back like always.

Second time here, and I LOVE IT HERE! Wow!! This Donut shop is so Freshly made and Baked by their very own Vanessa. Service is also amazing, with beautiful smiles and laughter. The softness of their donuts, their croissants and bagels sandwiches are just so delicious . I also tried their Mocha Frappe 10/10 as well as everything here! I sat and ate there, very clean areas to sit and sip while enjoying almost everything here! Vanessa's recommendations have all been a 10/10! Let's not forget The Blueberry Crumble Muffin so soft and delicious as well. Vanessa really hooked me up! I'll be back soon!

First time in here looking for something to eat and the nice lady in front suggested me the croissant breakfast sandwich and customize it for me. She's so sweet. Cute little shop in the corner and can't miss it.

Cute place! Just stumbled upon this donut shop while waiting to get my tires changed across the street. Ordered bagel with cream cheese and a small coffee. Came in a lil basket if eating in. Lady at counter was very sweet (Sophe maybe?)and cut it in 4 to make it easier to eat. Will definitely come back to try out other menu items.

I've been coming to this place for YEARS, and it has never disappointed. Great service, humble people and their items are guaranteed to be fresh! Bacon egg ham and cheese croissant is my favorite

The customer service was incredible! They were all very nice, the ambiance was nice, I sat here to eat and it was peaceful! Their bacon egg cheese croissant was delicious! Would definitely come back!

The best blueberry fritter and donuts ever. Always fresh tasting. No rancid oil or bitter after taste. Breakfast croissandwich (I made that up tho) made fresh to order. Sausage, ham, egg and cheese is the best- Croissant is light, flaky and oh so buttery. If you're just into no-frills donuts, the sugar raised or glazed are to die for. Sometimes I am thankful this shop is located a few cities away, otherwise I'd be gaining back the 20 lbs I've lost and probably add some more. Oh, I almost forgot. The chocolate chip donuts?! Hell sent these to tempt the heck out of me but biting into one of these is like dying and going to heaven. Service was always nice and friendly.

Let's Go Dodgers!!!!! The famous fresh strawberry donut is a must if you haven't tried it ur missing out! It's overflowing with real strawberries and sweet cream inside a soft, fluffy donut!!! So it's been a while since we visited. But during our return from Palm Desert back to Long Beach, we took a slight detour to Glendora to pick up their famous donuts during late morning, hoping that it wasn't too busy. There wasn't much of a line, with plenty of surface parking nearby. It's walk-up only, with a small window in the front where you place your order and get your box. The guy manning the window was giving off strange vibes: definitely felt it as I watched him interact with the customers in front of us: telling vs listening. The exit to the line is the same as the entrance, so the previous customers had to squeeze past us. I then waited for the cashier to come back...as he did and before I could speak, he slammed shut the screen on the window in my face and yelled something to the effect of ~I'm busy, will come back in a bit~. The slamming of the door is a practiced bit, and was meant to show everyone who was in charge. He did come back in a bit, but by this time I was nonplussed. I knew what to order (thank goodness), but then he asks 'What kind of strawberry?'...idk. So I pointed to the famous strawberry (as mentioned on the receipt)...no response, but he must have gotten what he wanted. Then his next response was 'You will pay for this AFTER I've boxed up the donuts' as he pointed to the credit card machine. What's funny was that he smiled and joked with his co-workers while he was doing this (just not at the customers)...so this must be the normal here. We got 5 things in total: 2 tiger tails ($3.40 each), 2 strawberry ($6.50), 1 sugar ($2.05). All were excellent donuts , with the whole strawberries being used not being overly sweet this time. The dough used for the donuts reminds me of a very good Chinese donut holes: a bit yeasty, but not as much as a KrispyKreme, and not cakey at all. With a sugar glaze, it very well could be my perfect donut. The donuts are indeed all that, but the possibility of such rude customer interaction (and that the owners are putting him and his attitude out in front instead of in the back where it belongs) negates any inclination to want to return (note to my future self).

The clerk was extremely pushy and kept pressuring us to buy more than we wanted, including extra coffee and hot chocolate that we clearly said we didn't want. We had already paid for our coffee and food, yet she hovered over us in a way that made us feel like we were being watched for stealing, which was very uncomfortable. I also ordered a few donuts and only received two, which was confusing. The coffee was extremely strong, and when we politely asked if it could be diluted, she responded in a rude and confrontational way. We were not being disrespectful at all, just placing a simple order. The place wasn't the cleanest and it wasn't the most aesthetic but we still made the purchase because we walked in it would've been rude to walk out The interaction felt tense and unwelcoming, and because of this, we won't be returning and honestly we should've walked out instead.

Rainbow Donuts in West Covina is the kind of place that makes you feel like home the second you walk in. The donuts are always fresh, no matter the hour, which is why this shop has become a true local favorite. I've been coming here my whole life and it never disappoints. One of my favorite details is that I can still find my grandparents here every single week. They're proof that Rainbow Donuts isn't just a donut shop, it's a family tradition and a part of our community. It's rare to see a business that connects generations like this. The vibe inside gives off a comforting old school feel, the kind that makes you feel like you're stepping into a piece of history. No frills, no gimmicks, just the smell of fresh donuts and coffee and the sight of locals coming through the door at all hours of the day. Of course, Dunkin' Donuts set up nearby, but Rainbow has something no chain can copy. It has that small mom and pop heart, that smile from the owner who remembers you after a few visits, that special feeling you only get from a neighborhood spot that's been loved for decades. Parking right in front is limited, only a couple of spots, but that doesn't bother me one bit. There's a lot across the street and if I have to cross for a fresh glazed or a chocolate bar, I'll happily do it. Plus, they recently added a Tesla charger nearby so it's the perfect excuse to plug in and pick up a dozen. Rainbow Donuts isn't just donuts either. They sell lottery tickets, snacks, and other food, making it a little one stop shop when you need a quick bite or just want to test your luck while sipping coffee. It's the kind of variety that keeps people coming back. Another thing I appreciate is how safe it feels. The shop sits on a busy street, but the entrance to the lot is simple and secure. You don't see people loitering or any uncomfortable crowds, which makes those late night donut runs feel easy and relaxed. As for the donuts themselves, the pricing is more than fair. In a time where everything seems to get more expensive, it feels good to walk out with a full box without spending a fortune. You get that unbeatable combination of quality and value. For me, this place is wrapped up in memories. I've been here more than fifty times, growing up in West Covina, and every visit feels like a little piece of my story. Whether it's late night snacks with friends or Saturday mornings with family, Rainbow has always been there. So if you're in West Covina and debating between a chain or something real, do yourself a favor and stop here. Rainbow Donuts is fresh, consistent, welcoming, and absolutely a gem in this city. Try it once and you'll understand why people like me and my grandparents keep coming back.

It's so fluffy!! (Important: Bring cash! There's a 50 cent fee for card.) I arrived at Azusa Donuts (Azusa) on Friday (around 7:05AM). Parking is easy. The lot is big . Staff is exceedingly personable and welcoming. "Good morning, my friend!" is a common phrase. Staff maintained a bright smile & playful attitude as sudden waves of customers poured in. Staff spoke English and Spanish. I was helped immediately. As mentioned, I enjoyed the Chocolate Heart w/ Sprinkles Donut ($2.00) and the Sugar Donut ($1.75). To my immense surprise, it all tastes very fresh. I adore how the Heart Donut's chocolate glaze comes wet and creamy; its sprinkles add a fun, light crackle. The Sugar Donut is even packed with plentiful sugar; sugar cascades down my chin with each greedy bite. Its fried batter tastes clean and fresh. These donuts are also very fluffy! "YUM!" Concerning ambiance, Azusa Donuts (Azusa) is simple and comfortable. There's a few indoor tables; however, I observed how most customers ordered to-go. It's fairly clean with shiny tables, crisp windows, and well-swept floors, but its interior is fairly generic. Azusa Donuts (Azusa) also has no customer restroom. And there's no music. This business's main sound derives from the loud, humming fridge. Fortunately, the cheerful & friendly greetings and banter from the staff helps alleviate the drab atmosphere. Overall, I found unexpected joy at Azusa Donuts (Azusa). During my visit, this spot felt like a guarded treasure by its locals. The goods are affordable; the staff is kind & welcoming; and its donuts are delicious. There's passion ringing within these walls. If nearby, I wholeheartedly recommend. 4.9 out of 5
