I was also surprised when staff placed a complimentary round donut in the bag too. This business felt friendly & welcoming. (Important: Bring Cash. There's a 75 cent added charge for card.) I arrived at Bumblebee Donuts 2 (Azusa) on the weekend. Parking is tough since the lot is very tiny. Luckily, I found a parking spot. Staff is friendly and patient. Staff happily answered my questions. Staff also worked hard. As mentioned, I ordered the Pink Sprinkle Donut ($1.80). It's a good quality donut. It's filling and satisfying for a quick sugar rush. YUM. On ambiance, Bumblebee Donuts 2 (Azusa) is busy and cramped. It felt very tiny. And there's only two tiny tables. The location is clean, but it's also very cluttered. Still, the location felt well-ventilated and comfortable. Overall, Bumblebee Donuts 2 (Azusa) is a good spot. It's a humble location, but there's integrity within those walls. I recommend if you're a local. 4.7 out of 5

But, it's far from average!…read moreI've been coming here for years and I can honestly say that you can't go wrong with getting any donut! These donuts are light and airy. Then, they are either filled with a fruity, creamy, or Fresh fruit filling. Glazed, dipped, or topped with something incredibly delicious! My personal favorite is the Tiger Tail. This donut is a good 12-18 inch depending on the day. It doesn't even fit into a donut box unless you squish it. So, get ready to dive in. If you're lucky enough to get a hot one late at night. Then, you've officially made it to donut heaven. Nothing beats a Donut Man donut yet along, a hot one. My mom always gets the powdered lemon donut and the maple bar. My dad loves the Boston cream. And, my brother always gets the Cream cheese donut with raspberry He loves that donut! Everyone is super nice and helpful. There's no seating. So, plan on getting it to go. Whatever you decide to do, you won't regret that you came! If there's a long line, wait in it! There's a reason why they have such long lines. Tiger Tail-This donut is light and airy. It is made up of a chocolate and regular donut twisted together.Like a tiger tail. It is thin glazed with a thin sweet glaze. Which, makes for a one of a kind tasty treat! Especially when it's hot. Maple Bar-This donut it light and fluffy and dipped in a thick maple glaze. It has a bold maple flavor which compliments the fluffy donut. It's pure heaven! Boston Cream-This donut is dense and decadent! Dipped in chocolate. Then, filled with a creamy vanilla custard that is absolutely divine! It has so much filling that it spills out. But, trust me, you'll be licking every last drop! Cream Cheese donut with raspberry- This donut is decadent and delicious topped with a thick tangy rich cream cheese filling. Paired with a swirl of zesty raspberry preserves. Which, makes for a heavenly combination Strawberry Donut-This donut is delicate and light as air, filled with farm fresh California strawberries. With a thick strawberry glaze. It's pure perfection! If you love strawberries. Get this donut! You won't be disappointed. Powdered Lemon Donut- This donut is delicate and devine. It it filled with a thick zesty filling that is addictive! It's always overflowing with filling. Which, my mom loves! Topped with plenty of powdered sugar. So delicious!

It's so fluffy!! (Important: Bring cash! There's a 50 cent fee for card.) I arrived at Azusa Donuts (Azusa) on Friday (around 7:05AM). Parking is easy. The lot is big . Staff is exceedingly personable and welcoming. "Good morning, my friend!" is a common phrase. Staff maintained a bright smile & playful attitude as sudden waves of customers poured in. Staff spoke English and Spanish. I was helped immediately. As mentioned, I enjoyed the Chocolate Heart w/ Sprinkles Donut ($2.00) and the Sugar Donut ($1.75). To my immense surprise, it all tastes very fresh. I adore how the Heart Donut's chocolate glaze comes wet and creamy; its sprinkles add a fun, light crackle. The Sugar Donut is even packed with plentiful sugar; sugar cascades down my chin with each greedy bite. Its fried batter tastes clean and fresh. These donuts are also very fluffy! "YUM!" Concerning ambiance, Azusa Donuts (Azusa) is simple and comfortable. There's a few indoor tables; however, I observed how most customers ordered to-go. It's fairly clean with shiny tables, crisp windows, and well-swept floors, but its interior is fairly generic. Azusa Donuts (Azusa) also has no customer restroom. And there's no music. This business's main sound derives from the loud, humming fridge. Fortunately, the cheerful & friendly greetings and banter from the staff helps alleviate the drab atmosphere. Overall, I found unexpected joy at Azusa Donuts (Azusa). During my visit, this spot felt like a guarded treasure by its locals. The goods are affordable; the staff is kind & welcoming; and its donuts are delicious. There's passion ringing within these walls. If nearby, I wholeheartedly recommend. 4.9 out of 5

It has air conditioning and it was very cold the day that I visited. I've tried their churros and they were extremely fresh and soft. I love their variety of dipping sauces, but I wanted to try it without any of them. They have some aqua frescas there besides coffee, but I opted for their strawberry lemonade because I don't drink coffee. The only part about sitting outside is that there is no trashcan to throw your trash. I could have left it on the table, but I didn't like to leave trash on the table(s) so I walked back inside to throw my trash away.

Where have I been all this time?…read more A tiny bakery located in an unappealing plaza. Upon walking in you see cases of baked good and some trays and tongs on the counter. It's self serve: grab your own bread from the bread case and paid at the counter. They have a variety of different sweet bread, donuts, cake and cookies to choose from. I see they also have some hot foods that you can order as well. We picked some random sweet bread and cakes to try and they were all very good! The place looked clean and the cashier who helped me had a mask on which is a plus! I just wish they could provide a base sheet for the trays where you can put the goods on. The bread was extremely dry, almost stale, and it ended up being one of those situations where nobody even wanted to take it home. At first, I thought I scored a good deal because a large rosca usually runs around $40-$50, and this one was closer to $33, but now I understand why. With something this traditional, especially something people look forward to once a year, the quality really matters, and unfortunately, this one missed the mark. I didn't try any of their other pastries, and to be fair, maybe those are better, but Rosca de Reyes is such a staple that it's hard to excuse when it's done poorly. It actually hurts to write this review because I want local bakeries to succeed, but I also feel like I need to be honest with myself and with others who might be deciding where to buy theirs. On a positive note, the staff was very kind and welcoming. The bakery itself was empty when I went, and it's tucked into the corner of a parking lot, so it's easy to miss if you don't already know it's there. I'm sure regulars know exactly where to park and how things work, but for a first visit tied to such a special tradition, the experience just didn't deliver. There wasn't really an ambience for customers other than a very busy kitchen. There was just nobody there when I went.
