This is the fritter that was obviously fried and magical Chinese oil. One of the greatest experiences I've ever had in my life.
    John S.

Absolutely one of the best fritters I've ever had and my daughter got Boston cream that was phenomenal. The fritter was warm and tasted as if it was fried and magical oil.

Choclate bar , so good had to take a bite.

The donuts are delicious here. We compared them with another location in west covina and decided that sunrise donuts were way better. They have a decent selection, price is right, coffee is good and they throw in 2 donut holes. We enjoy the raspberry jelly donuts and chocolate bar donuts. The owners are nice and the lady that help us was pleasant.

Came to have a coffee and share a donut while we waited the two hour wait for the dumpling house nearby. Donut selection was not huge but the donuts were OK. Lady came out only after I cleared my throat and then came back out only when we said bye an hour later.

I finally got the chance to try this donut shop and let me tell you, ITS GOOD! it has a very calm and pleasant atmosphere with the scent of freshly baked goods, decent amount of seating as well! The owner was very nice and attentive, we didn't wait long for her to assist us. She gave us some blueberry donut holes to try, normally i'm picky with my blueberry items but these were pretty good! Try their Vietnamese iced coffee!! This is definitely going to be my new goto donut shop

Maple bar $1.50. Tell me why was it cut opened like this?
    Marika P.

Husband went in to buy a couple of donuts to try since we just moved to the neighborhood. Brought it back home, I opened the bag and this is what I see. Why is the maple bar opened like this? It's trashed now. Thanks but no thanks to your business. Also another time.... celebrated an event. My sister bought 3 dozen and it all seems old! We used to own a donut shop before and this is the worst shop ever.

    strawberry filled and chocolate donut

The bagels are tooo good ! they come out warm and with the right amount of cream cheese (unlike other places that try to skimp you out). My sister always gets the croissants here which are also delicious. The donuts are also really good! not too sweet and not too airy. The owners here are also very sweet, an older couple who have always been at the cashier ever day and every morning for the many years i've lived in the area (10 years btw). It's my favorite go to donut shop and i wouldn't have it any other way ! Also another thing to note is you can pay with card / apple pay if it's over $5 anything under is cash or else she'll recommend to get something since they don't accept card under $5

The owner gave me free donut holes!

Your basic donut shop. Picked up an apple fritter for $2.50. Minimum card payment is $5. The apple fritter does have a slight old oil taste.

BOMB donuts. Something about the chocolate icing and glaze at the bottom that just hits. Place is clean, owners are really sweet.

My favorite doughnuts in the area. The classic doughnuts are light and fluffy but the best thing here is the apple fritter.

Let's Go Dodgers!!!!! The famous fresh strawberry donut is a must if you haven't tried it ur missing out! It's overflowing with real strawberries and sweet cream inside a soft, fluffy donut!!! So it's been a while since we visited. But during our return from Palm Desert back to Long Beach, we took a slight detour to Glendora to pick up their famous donuts during late morning, hoping that it wasn't too busy. There wasn't much of a line, with plenty of surface parking nearby. It's walk-up only, with a small window in the front where you place your order and get your box. The guy manning the window was giving off strange vibes: definitely felt it as I watched him interact with the customers in front of us: telling vs listening. The exit to the line is the same as the entrance, so the previous customers had to squeeze past us. I then waited for the cashier to come back...as he did and before I could speak, he slammed shut the screen on the window in my face and yelled something to the effect of ~I'm busy, will come back in a bit~. The slamming of the door is a practiced bit, and was meant to show everyone who was in charge. He did come back in a bit, but by this time I was nonplussed. I knew what to order (thank goodness), but then he asks 'What kind of strawberry?'...idk. So I pointed to the famous strawberry (as mentioned on the receipt)...no response, but he must have gotten what he wanted. Then his next response was 'You will pay for this AFTER I've boxed up the donuts' as he pointed to the credit card machine. What's funny was that he smiled and joked with his co-workers while he was doing this (just not at the customers)...so this must be the normal here. We got 5 things in total: 2 tiger tails ($3.40 each), 2 strawberry ($6.50), 1 sugar ($2.05). All were excellent donuts , with the whole strawberries being used not being overly sweet this time. The dough used for the donuts reminds me of a very good Chinese donut holes: a bit yeasty, but not as much as a KrispyKreme, and not cakey at all. With a sugar glaze, it very well could be my perfect donut. The donuts are indeed all that, but the possibility of such rude customer interaction (and that the owners are putting him and his attitude out in front instead of in the back where it belongs) negates any inclination to want to return (note to my future self).

(you guessed it) a donut shop!!! I stopped at Pronto Donuts in Azusa to take a driving break. The donut shop was full and there was a line inside. I got my usual, 3 chocolate donuts. They were good and fresh. I did like that each donut was only $1.50 which is a really, really good price for donuts!! I think this is the most cost efficient donut I've seen in the last couple of months. The donuts made me happy very happy!! Pronto is right across the street from the In-n-Out and has the best Old Fashioned donuts, amazing Buttermilk bars, Chocolate and Vanilla donuts, Bear Claws, Powdered donuts filled with cream, lemon, or raspberry, and so many more styles of donuts and pastries. On Saturday and Sunday they serve up the biggest Tiger Tails I've ever seen. You will not find a Tiger tail donut as huge, crispy, and delicious anywhere else... not even on Route 66. And they certainly beat the prices of any local Route 66 donut shop. You will fall in love with the hardworking woman at the counter, who is almost always there taking care of this small, but perfect doughnut shop. She has a few seats for patrons to sit and enjoy their coffee and donuts, sandwiches, or just to watch the live Hot Spot Lottery Keno on their TV. (And did I mention they sell the lottery tickets here, too!) The parking lot is definitely tight in this plaza, but I always find at least one spot in the lot or you can park on the side street.
