I had a lovely experience at Pronto Donuts (Azusa). I ordered the Chocolate with Sprinkles Donut ($1.75). It's fluffy, sweet, and clean. YUM! (Important: Bring Cash. There's an added 50 cent fee for card payments.) I arrived at Pronto Donuts (Azusa) on Sunday (around 10:57AM). Parking is cramped and tight. The lot is busy and small. Luckily, I found an open parking spot. Staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. Staff speaks Spanish and English, and Staff immediately helped me. Staff quickly answered all my questions with a bright smile. On ambiance, Pronto Donuts (Azusa) is very clean and comfortable. There's air condition, so the interior felt well-ventilated. Also, there's a long table to sit. The location is shiny and well-maintained. There's still passion and care at this business. Overall, I had a lovely experience at Pronto Donuts (Azusa). I even felt myself laughing when I saw they had Cookie Monster and Elmo donuts. Too adorable! All in all, there's good donuts, friendly staff, and a clean location. Every time I purchase a dozen, they literally only give you 12, whereas a bakers dozen always has an extra donut. They have a great selection of drinks and sandwiches available but compared to other donut places they did go up in prices a bit. Plus i always go on weekend to take donuts to work and they make sure to count just 12. It's a nice donut shop overall, always packed as you can play the hotspot inside. read more

Since I don't learn my lesson and decide to drive to work on a Monday morning in heavy traffic, that drive is a 2.5 hour drive to Pasadena. Anyhow, it gives me a reason to stop at... (you guessed it) a donut shop!!! I stopped at Pronto Donuts in Azusa to take a driving break. The donut shop was full and there was a line inside. I got my usual, 3 chocolate donuts. My favorite mom and pop donut shop in SoCal. Fast service, delicious donuts, and amazing staff. If you want fresh donuts anywhere in the area of Azusa, Covina, or Glendora - this locals spot is my go-to. Pronto is right across the street from the In-n-Out and has the best Old Fashioned donuts, amazing Buttermilk bars, Chocolate and Vanilla donuts, Bear Claws, Powdered donuts filled with cream, lemon, or raspberry, and so many more styles of donuts and pastries. On Saturday and Sunday they serve up the biggest Tiger Tails I've ever seen. You will not find a Tiger tail donut as huge, crispy, and delicious anywhere else... not even on Route 66. And they certainly beat the prices of any local Route 66 donut shop. You will fall in love with the hardworking woman at the counter, who is almost always there taking care of this small, but perfect doughnut shop. She has a few seats for patrons to sit and enjoy their coffee and donuts, sandwiches, or just to watch the live Hot Spot Lottery Keno on their TV. (And did I mention they sell the lottery tickets here, too!) The parking lot is definitely tight in this plaza, but I always find at least one spot in the lot or you can park on the side street. read more

I have always love the pronto in Monterey Park so when I found out there is one in Azusa, I had to make my way over. It was busy on a Friday Morning. I ended up getting two orders of the sausage and egg breakfast croissant. The breakfast croissant is cooked to order so it's nice and hot. It's also super yummy. My cousin really enjoy it too. You can also buy their homemade hot sauce. It's goes really well with the breakfast croissant. Quick walk in experience in January 2022. I used to come here often with my mom and dad early in the morning before work, years ago ! This business has been here for decades and my mom says the people who work here are the same ones from when she used to come here. This places brings my family good nostalgia. Their coffee is amazing ! Their donuts are even better! I'm glad I could come back after years and know that it's all still as great as it was when I was a kid. I stopped by on a whim for a sweet treat and I was HIGHLY disappointed. The Apple Fritter was stale and rock hard, to some extent it even tasted like chemical and left a strong after taste in my mouth. I tossed it in the trash after 3 bites given it was offensive to my taste buds to even attempt to continue consuming. The Banana Nut Muffin was decent but hardly tempting. I had to tear off the edges because they were rather stiff and the rest of the muffin was edible, I guess. I would definitely avoid this spot next time, I feel super ripped off because I could not enjoy/consume the food I purchased. Great place if you looking to get a late-night snack, a early morning bite, or literally anytime between. I usually come in the morning for a Caramel Iced Coffee and a donut or croissant. The ladies in the morning are efficient and great at making coffees and filling order, I never spend more than 10 minutes here. Many-a-times, my mother and I come in the evenings for a hot coffee, donuts, and scratchers. Cathy helps us there and knows our order by heart. She is also great company. Today my family and I went to this shopping center to buy food next door. While we were waiting for our order,I asked my mom to go to this donut place to purchase some lotto quick picks. She came back to tell me that she couldn't get them because the lady that was there didn't understand her,and that she was rude to her. So, I decided to go myself and go get my quick picks. When I was greeted by this lady there,she looked pissed off already. I confronted her about her not understanding what my mom was asking her. I understand that she might not speak Spanish,but my issue was how she went about it,and was rude to a customer. I'm not from the SoCal area but I enjoy browsing local gems of the area and did not find this place a disappointment. Parking was a bit difficult to get here, not going to lie.
