I had a lovely experience at Azusa Donuts. I ordered the Chocolate Heart w/ Sprinkles Donut ($2.00) and the Sugar Donut ($1.75). A bright smiled tugged along my lips on my first bite. It's so fluffy!! (Important: Bring cash! There's a 50 cent fee for card.) I arrived at Azusa Donuts (Azusa) on Friday (around 7:05AM). Parking is easy. The lot is big . Staff is exceedingly personable and welcoming. "Good morning, my friend!" is a common phrase. Staff maintained a bright smile & playful attitude as sudden waves of customers poured in. Staff spoke English and Spanish. I was helped immediately. As mentioned, I enjoyed the Chocolate Heart w/ Sprinkles Donut ($2.00) and the Sugar Donut ($1.75). To my immense surprise, it all tastes very fresh. I adore how the Heart Donut's chocolate glaze comes wet and creamy; its sprinkles add a fun, light crackle. The Sugar Donut is even packed with plentiful sugar; sugar cascades down my chin with each greedy bite. Its fried batter tastes clean and fresh. These donuts are also very fluffy! "YUM!" Concerning ambiance, Azusa Donuts (Azusa) is simple and comfortable. There's a few indoor tables; however, I observed how most customers ordered to-go. It's fairly clean with shiny tables, crisp windows, and well-swept floors, but its interior is fairly generic. Azusa Donuts (Azusa) also has no customer restroom. And there's no music. This business's main sound derives from the loud, humming fridge. Fortunately, the cheerful & friendly greetings and banter from the staff helps alleviate the drab atmosphere. Overall, I found unexpected joy at Azusa Donuts (Azusa). During my visit, this spot felt like a guarded treasure by its locals. Located at the corner of Arrow Hwy & Hollenbeck/ Cerritos in the 'Oaktree Center' shopping complex with plenty of parking and inside seating if you want to enjoy your treat there. I stopped by early this morning to pick up a dozen donuts for my coworkers, and they were a hit. The donuts were fresh, fluffy, and delicious. I was pleasantly surprised to find extra donut holes included, a really nice gesture from the shop. Service was excellent; the gentleman behind the counter was welcoming, attentive, and working hard. Beyond donuts, they also serve coffee, tea, smoothies, and fresh sandwiches. The shop was clean and organized. I had a great experience and will definitely be back. read more

We're talking away I don't know what I'm to say I'll say it anyway... Came a bit after mid day for the kids post Mass treat and the donuts were gone. After we went to our usual donut spot thought we'd try another one. 3/5 Selection Slim picking as all the shelves were empty except what was on the photo. 3.5/5 Donuts Glazed were soft and fluffy. Sprinkles was a bit hard. Ham jalapeño and cheese croissant was good and they warmed it up for us. There was a hair inside the paper. 5/5 Parking Plentiful spots to choose from. Stopped by Azusa Donuts before work this morning after 2 hours of tiresome traffic. I got myself 2 heart donuts, 1 chocolate and 1 strawberry. Both were fresh and delicious!! The girl at the counter was very pleasant and welcoming. I told her that their donuts are so cute and she had mentioned that the baker was in love so he made heart donuts today. Watching her interaction w the other customers was enjoyable because she was so cheerful and very happy. Stopping here made my day much better and energized me to continue the drive to work in the horrible traffic. Donuts were super good and service was stellar!! Definitely coming back!! read more

We went to this donut shop a little later in the morning, around 10:30, so the donut selection was thin, but I wasn't there just for donuts so that's ok. We ordered 2 bacon ham and cheese croissants, a glazed twist, and a maple bar. I generally like to stay away from donuts because I am trying to keep my figure but since today is Halloween I decided that I could treat myself. Once in a while is okay right? I came to this donut shop because my co-worker always comes here and she told me it was good. One thing I cannot stand is a donut is not fresh but this place had them fresh on the rack. Since it was my day to treat myself I asked the man if he could give me some fresh off the cooling rack and he didn't have any problem with it at all. He even gave me a free donut. Located near our home this is the place to go when in a rush and in need of both coffee and some fresh donuts! This place gets our day started just right. Open early and they close late in case you have a late night craving for some donuts and don't want to drive out too far. Donuts are cheap but don't lack on quality. Service is friendly and patient, especially when we've gone in there early in the morning still half asleep. Came in here with my dad and the owner was so nice.
