Just bought a dozen donuts but only had the jelly donuts so far. The breading is at the right density for me as it's not too dense like it's stale or not too thin where it feels like eating a cream puff. What I especially like is that the donut is filled in the center with a generous amount. Been to some other donut shops that simply puts a small pocket, fills with less than 25 percent of the donut, and adds sadness to my soul. Jelly or cream donuts from here are a must. read more

Y'all be careful when checking out. Pay attention to your total amount you pay. I was paying with my card and saw my total was about $12 the it changed to $14 because of fee for credit card. The lady asked me if I wanted my receipt and I said no thank you but checked my total charged and it was now almost $18. I asked why it was so much now and she said she didn't know. My favorite spot for donuts! I've been coming here for about 5 years. They have my all time favorite Ham and Cheese croissant in the SGV/IE! The donuts are always fresh and coffee is always hot! Yelp 100 Challenge 2017 - 103/100 It's been 5 years since I first reviewed this place. I have to give credit when and where it's due. Walked into their store at 3 pm and found the last crumb donut. Got it with my other faves to make a half dozen ($5). The big boy wanted a bear claw so it was $1 extra. Got two ham, cheese and jalapeño croissants at $2.95 each all for $11.90. A small coffee for $1.50 and FREE coffeemate flavored creamer. The coffee was made fresh too. As in, I had to wait 2 minutes for it to finish brewing. The crumb donut was still fresh and moist, it was heavenly. No strong yeast taste here. The big boy wolfed down his maple bar while the croissant was heating in the toaster. He says it tasted a lot better than Henry's as there was more ham and cheese. Honestly, I shouldn't be driving to the next city to get great tasting donuts that are way more inexpensive, and coffee with the free hazelnut creamer. read more

This ain't no corporate donut conglomerate-- this is old neighborhood legitimate coffee and donuts. Sure, they've added boba and sandwiches and frozen coffee drinks to stay with the times, but at its core, it's fresh donuts, hot coffee, and maybe a pack of Winston 120s for your great uncle Pete. It may not look like much on the outside, but inside is clean and tidy. Nice folks working behind the counter and reasonable prices. I don't eat a lot of donuts on this whole Protein-Only thing, but honestly, I'm pretty sure chocolate old fashioned and a warm apple fritter are on my diet. read more

They have really good prices on donuts ~$8/dozen. Last time I picked up 2 dozen assorted donuts for my office and it was gone quick. All the donuts are fresh, tasty and pretty to look at! Not the super fancy ones, but very appetizing. Big variety too. Also, get the apple fritter! Separate charge but definitely worth it, yummy & huge with apple chunks!! The also sell sandwiches, ice cream, drinks, and smoothies. I've only had the donuts so far. This little store is clean and can appreciate a facelift, but if it keeps the prices as is, I don't mind just running in to pick up yummies. Cash only, but they have an ATM machine in the store. Okay, I know this place *looks* pretty average. Y'all are probs like, what's the big deal? I promise there's more than meets the eye! We started coming here because we lived up the street. But now that we don't live in Baldwin Park, we still drive back! I feel like there's something for everyone here. The sandwiches are delicious, smoothies are great, there's even thrifty ice cream! Admittedly my favorite are the donuts They look decent, but they're delicious! I've never had an old-tasting donut here. They're usually sold out by the afternoon but on occasion they'll make/bring out more for the evening crowd. They also have usual snacks like bottled beverages and chips, candy, packaged things of the like. The owners are a very friendly couple, but besides them I've never received bad customer service. Unfortunately they are cash only. There is an ATM in there that I've never used so I'm not sure how much it charges. There is two tables inside but it gets a little cramped because this place gets ALOT of foot traffic. One minute they're empty and the next there's a line out the door. They do their best to get you out quickly but because there's only one register it's a little bit of a juggle. Nevertheless it's worth the slight wait. Was recommended to go here by my close childhood friend ... and she was absolutely right! There were such a variety of donuts as well as pastries like ham and cheese croissants and ones with jalapeños! And ... they have boba teas! I was so excited , I wanted one of everything ! And the owners were so sweet and they even helped carry my big order to my car! I came in for a dozen donuts , and came out with that, 6 total ham and cheese / jalapeño croissants and 4 boba teas! I love this donut shop. It extremely visible as it is located on the corner of Baldwin Park Blvd and Merced. The ladies that work there are always so nice and helpful. I've tried quite a few donuts they have but I recommend you try the Coconut glazed donut or the Chocolate Bar. The dough is always soft and moist and there not skimpy with the icing which I love. This place has downgraded so much. I use to come here with my friends all the time as a teen and idk if they recently got new owners, but the last two experiences have been horrible. Last time, I got my usual milk tea boba but the boba was super soggy. I decided to give it another try today, and before ordering I asked the girl at the register if she could let me see what the boba looked like today. It was mushy, but it didn't look as bad as last time so I decided to give it another shot. The whole time I'm ordering the girl is giving me some serious attitude. When I began asking her about her attitude towards me she starts walking away. I figured, oh maybe she doesn't understand me. I ask to speak to a manager and she tells me no. I stop and I'm like, did I offend you in anyway because the last time I checked, I came here to give you business. The girl is starring at me with this silent but angered face as I'm explaining to her the horrible customer experience she just gave me.
