    Jelly donuts
    Lyndon T.

Just bought a dozen donuts but only had the jelly donuts so far. The breading is at the right density for me as it's not too dense like it's stale or not too thin where it feels like eating a cream puff. What I especially like is that the donut is filled in the center with a generous amount. Been to some other donut shops that simply puts a small pocket, fills with less than 25 percent of the donut, and adds sadness to my soul. Jelly or cream donuts from here are a must.

Husband and I have our pit stop here whenever we visit Frank and Sons. The donuts are good, and affordable! The staff are friendly and there's parking. Recently got their jalapeño ham and cheese croissant and cookies and cream shake with boba. Mm! So good! Will continue to visit!

    Thrifty ice cream!
    Alex C.

4 stars for the simple fact that they have thrifty ice cream. A variety of flavors and the price is right. Starting out 1.50 for one scoop on a cone and up. Not to bad. Just FYI it's cash only, if not there's an ATM inside the establishment. Since there is no rite aide around town this is the next best thing to it. The girls behind the counter are very helpful looks like nobody waits around this place.

Was recommended to go here by my close childhood friend ... and she was absolutely right! There were such a variety of donuts as well as pastries like ham and cheese croissants and ones with jalapeños! And ... they have boba teas! I was so excited , I wanted one of everything ! And the owners were so sweet and they even helped carry my big order to my car! I came in for a dozen donuts , and came out with that, 6 total ham and cheese / jalapeño croissants and 4 boba teas! Will be back for SURE! and I'll remember to take a picture of what I ordered So excited for this gem of a place in our neighborhood!

Donut service with a smile. Always.

Boba was super hard and slimy rather than squishy and bouncy. Milk tea wasn't sweet at all. It's was super bland. It's $2.50 for a reason.

(Note: This donut business has no extra fees for card payments.) I arrived at Cafe Donuts (West Covina) on Tuesday (around 6:03AM). Parking is available. There's a medium-sized lot for customers Staff is professional and respectful. Staff quickly helped me, and Staff answered my questions. Regarding ambiance, Cafe Donuts (West Covina) is perhaps one of the BEST. It's the rare donut shop that doesn't look frugal or like a convenience store. Rather, the interior is very shiny and well-decorated. The location is clean, well-ventilated, and comfortable. It's also the rare donut shop that had high-chairs for children. I also liked how napkins and hand sanitizer were plentiful on every table. Overall, Cafe Donuts (West Covina) is a great experience. The prices are slightly more pricey compared to other donut spots, but the quality and integrity easily outshines everything else. This is an easy recommendation for someone searching for good quality donuts. 4.9 out of 5

They make everything fresh daily, are family owned and operated, super hardworking and nice. I got their passion fruit green tea, croissant sando, glazed donut holes, buttermilk bar, Oreo, matcha filled, creme brulee, and tiger tail donuts to try. The passion fruit green tea was sweet, bright, fruity, had real passion fruit seeds and pulp inside but also a strong bitter green tea flave so it might not be for everyone. The croissant sando was MASSIVE and I added some smooth fatty avocado it too. The sando was filled with savory tender bacon, a juicy sausage patty, some scrambled eggs, and gooey American cheese, all on a buttery flakey croissant. Every donut was super light, fluffy, pillowy, airy, and nostalgic tasting. The donut holes had a crisp sugary glaze and so did the buttermilk bar which was more like a cake donut but still super delicate and light crumb and tasted a little Coconuty? The Oreo donut was topped with so many crunchy Oreo bits and a super sugary sweet icing. The matcha donut was covered in sugar and had a super earthy grassy fragrant whipped cream filling. The creme brulee donut had a nice crunchy sugar top and was filled with a sweet smooth cream. The tiger tail was coated with like a cinnamon almond streusel and had swirls of more cinnamon and almonds twisted in. They have this really cool deal that after 2pm if you buy a certain amount of donuts you can get some free. My faves were probably the tiger tail and creme brulee but Overall this place is pretty good. Tiger tail $4 Buttermilk $2.50 Oreo $4 Matcha filled $4 Creme brulee $4 Sausage bacon egg cheese avocado croissant sando $10.99 +$1.65 avocado Passion fruit tea $6.25 Donut holes x12 $4

As I pulled into the parking lot, another car was backing up, so I waited. Instead of leaving, the driver pulled into the drive-thru ahead of me and drove straight to the pickup window without stopping to order. I was the only customer behind this car. When I reached the order speaker, I placed my order, but by the time I got to the window, that same car was still sitting there. It appeared to be an employee chatting with coworkers at the window while I waited. After several minutes, I slowly inched forward, and only then did the conversation finally end. When I got to the window, the employee who had taken my order told me she had forgotten my order and asked me to repeat it. I ordered an iced coffee and a chocolate glazed donut. While preparing my drink, coffee dripped all over the outside of the cup, and I had to ask the employee to wipe it off before handing it to me. Then I had to ask for a straw because it had been forgotten. When it was time to pay, I realized I never received my donut, and the cashier said she hadn't heard that part of my order. After finally getting my donut, I noticed there were no napkins in the bag, but by then I was just ready to leave. As I drove away, all I could think was, "Please do better." I understand everyone has an off day, but this wasn't just one mistake--it was a series of avoidable issues, combined with employees appearing more interested in socializing than serving the only customer waiting in the drive-thru. A little common courtesy, attention to detail, and better cleanliness when preparing and handing out orders would go a long way. Customer service shouldn't make people feel like they're inconveniencing employees simply by placing an order. I hope management addresses the level of professionalism, cleanliness, and customer service at this location because it has the potential to provide a much better experience.

I arrived at Mandilon Donuts & Water (Baldwin Park) on Wednesday (around 4:10PM). Parking is simple but limited. There's a small narrow customer lot in front. Staff is very friendly. Staff politely made small talk; Staff maintained a cheerful, kind demeanor. Staff even added a few complimentary donut holes without bringing it up. Regarding ambiance, Mandilon Donuts & Water (Baldwin Park) is not the most comfortable. When I'd arrived, the interior felt a little warm and humid. This business is an order-and-leave spot. However, I did appreciate this big bottle of hand sanitizer for customers. Overall, Mandilon Donuts & Water (Baldwin Park) is a good, friendly spot for donuts. Beyond the juice, their breakfast sandwich game is strong. You can customize your sandwich with a croissant, a bagel, wheat, sourdough's... you name it!
