This place is great for solid later night donuts. Great prices and no frills. My favorite here is their cherry butterfly donut, I've never had it anywhere else. I wish I took pics but I ate them all lol. There are seats inside where you can enjoy your donuts. There's so many stores that close early in the area. My go to for later night snacks or early morning sweets when craving donuts. read more

Don't let your guard down: cashier walked into kitchen without giving back my change. I should have spoken up but when she returned with my order, she said she gave me my change which was absolutely not true. No resolution offered other than keeping my $10. Donuts and scratchers on a Saturday night. The owners are so nice and whether we get a 1/2 or a whole dozen they always add in one extra. They greet you as if you're old friends, it's really nice. And the donuts are also very good. You can pick scratchers from the display or in the machine. read more

I lived in the area 20+ years and have gone to Covina donuts a few times. why? I don't know!Because the lady that runs the shop is so very rude and unnecessarily so! I've gone back because people have a bad day and I can understand that. However, she seems to have a bad day most of the time. I liked their cream filled, but it's not that good that I would take such attitude and spend my money with someone who doesn't deserve it. The place is usually empty and I can see why. She's pushy, she's rude and she's obnoxious. There are other places that make a better donut and are much friendlier than the lady at Covina donuts. read more

This place has the freshest donuts, coffee is not bad either. Service is good nothing outstanding. The only thing I will say it is not open 24/7 and their hours of operation are unknown. I've driven past there and always seen the open sign on even when closed. One evening I was craving a donut and it was pretty early let's say 8:30-9pm Sunday and I had to go somewhere else because like I mentioned before hours are not displayed & the open sign was on. I love me some mom and pop donut shop donuts. KK is good too, but buttermilk donuts are my jam. Covina Donuts has a super friendly staff and huge variety of donuts! They have the general offerings, but also unique ones: cereal topped, raspberry twists, etc. And these donuts are very generous sized! Def. not as big as a Homer Simpson donut, but bigger than other places. My kids' first reactions were "Whoa, these are big donuts!". (They thought the tiger tail and apple fritter was bigger than my face). I mean...my box wouldn't even close all the way! The donuts (both cake and regular donuts) are fresh and tasty, great texture, and satisfied my donut craving. They also have HUGE croissants if you prefer something savory. Stopped by for a couple of Doughnuts to satisfy a sudden urge.. cream filled muffin was ok The old fashioned chocolate was horrible mushy and no flavor. But the horrible customer service put this place under the bar. Not even a thank you after my purchase. It's not like the person behind the counter was busy. I feel that these independent businesses should really make customers feel welcome for a possibly a return sale. That's never going to happen when people are less than friendly read more

These are the best doughnuts. I'm not a big apple fritter fan but I tried one of theirs and it was seriously good. The French crullers are very good too. I had a cake donut (vanilla with white frosting and sprinkles) and it tasted better than any other cake donut I've tried anywhere. I went there once close to closing time around nine, I think, and they weren't as fresh as usual, but that was the only time they were less than amazing. Service is good enough. Friendliness is a hit or a miss but I've noticed that the more often I go the friendlier they are to me. They also have lottery machines, so if I'm bored, I will sometimes take a table and play scratchers while I eat my doughnuts. I highly recommend Covina Donuts to serious donut lovers but they are not open 24 hrs. so there's that. read more

They have the best donuts around. Better than any other donut place around. Even better than Krispy Kreme. The best time to come is early in the morning like 5-6am. Freshest donuts and you get to choose from all their options. And all the people I've ever seen working here are alll soooo nice. Great customer service! I'm exceptionally impressed. There are very few donut places that hit the taste on the nose and Covina Donuts is now on my list of best donuts in town. I struggle with carbs, so I didn't taste them all. I ordered a dozen and they gave me a bakers dozen. Wasn't expecting it so that was great. Also great price for a mixed dozen. I only ate a glazed twist although it was so hard for me to resist the rest. The first bite was wonderful and every bite thereafter was better than the first. Each bite had the perfect dough to sugar ratio with the crispy edges. Soft inside, sugary outside with the perfect sized sweet glaze flakes falling onto my shirt to savor later lol. Yum. I will be visiting often. read more

The lady during the morning day time is a weirdo. She overcharged me for donuts and then forgot to put my donuts In my bag. When I went back for them she said she didn't charge me for those so I had to pay again so that was about 20 dollars for a few not even half a dozen doughnuts. I will only go there if I'm desperate for a donut in the middle of the night. read more

Very very nice owners and fresh good donuts. I am not a donut fan but went in to buy 2 dozen for a school event. They were so sweet gave me 3 doz for price of 2 dozen. I took forever choosing which ones and the lady was so patient with me. This allowed me to offer the kids 2 donuts each, thank you. Just wanted to give this place their due, they are great! BEWARE FLIES EVERYWHERE! This donut shop is extremely unsanitary and is probably the ONLY done it shop I've ever been to where the owner is so rude with a very bad attitude. I've given this place a couple tries because it's next to my work and there's always knats on the donuts and the owner always gives me attitude when all I asked for is a few donuts??? This place has ok donuts. The customer service is not nice at all. They do not say good morning or hello. They just continue their conversation in their language with eachother so its very uncomfortable. They only accept cash (um... its 2020 now) and even though we are in the middle of covid, apparently it doesn't apply to them as they allow customers to eat inside. Smh. What is difficult to understand about no indoor dining? So technically they allow people in there with no mask. No thanks! read more

Im here from houston came here because of reviews but man this lady had a disgusting attitude i asked if she had kolache she said ham and cheese i said ok thats fine and she said i said i dont have kolache. How am i going to guess ham and cheese what!? She didn't specify kolache or croissant. Then she kept rushing me (we were the only ones there) I couldn't even see what they had available she kept asking if I wanted a dozen donuts which i had said no already twice.. so we picked our donuts then i gave her the card and she said rudely go to the atm. I asked for what? She said take cash out. I wasnt aware of cash only maybe i missed a sign but she could of said it in another way.. i had cash with me . The whole thing was just horrible. I dont tend to put bad reviews but i NEEDED to with this place. read more

This is the kind of donut shop/ business that you want to repeatedly visit. It is very friendly and a small business where the owner takes the time to give their opinion and recommendations. They do a deal when you buy a dozen you get an extra one free, costs about $11. There also creative donuts where it's covered in bacon, fruity pebbles, corn flakes, and froot lupes. read more

So it's been a while since we visited. But during our return from Palm Desert back to Long Beach, we took a slight detour to Glendora to pick up their famous donuts during late morning, hoping that it wasn't too busy. There wasn't much of a line, with plenty of surface parking nearby. It's walk-up only, with a small window in the front where you place your order and get your box. The guy manning the window was giving off strange vibes: definitely felt it as I watched him interact with the customers in front of us: telling vs listening. The exit to the line is the same as the entrance, so the previous customers had to squeeze past us. I then waited for the cashier to come back...as he did and before I could speak, he slammed shut the screen on the window in my face and yelled something to the effect of ~I'm busy, will come back in a bit~. The slamming of the door is a practiced bit, and was meant to show everyone who was in charge. He did come back in a bit, but by this time I was nonplussed. I knew what to order (thank goodness), but then he asks 'What kind of strawberry?'...idk. So I pointed to the famous strawberry (as mentioned on the receipt)...no response, but he must have gotten what he wanted. Then his next response was 'You will pay for this AFTER I've boxed up the donuts' as he pointed to the credit card machine. What's funny was that he smiled and joked with his co-workers while he was doing this (just not at the customers)...so this must be the normal here. We got 5 things in total: 2 tiger tails ($3.40 each), 2 strawberry ($6.50), 1 sugar ($2.05). All were excellent donuts , with the whole strawberries being used not being overly sweet this time. The dough used for the donuts reminds me of a very good Chinese donut holes: a bit yeasty, but not as much as a KrispyKreme, and not cakey at all. With a sugar glaze, it very well could be my perfect donut. The donuts are indeed all that, but the possibility of such rude customer interaction (and that the owners are putting him and his attitude out in front instead of in the back where it belongs) negates any inclination to want to return (note to my future self).

It's so fluffy!! (Important: Bring cash! There's a 50 cent fee for card.) I arrived at Azusa Donuts (Azusa) on Friday (around 7:05AM). Parking is easy. The lot is big . Staff is exceedingly personable and welcoming. "Good morning, my friend!" is a common phrase. Staff maintained a bright smile & playful attitude as sudden waves of customers poured in. Staff spoke English and Spanish. I was helped immediately. As mentioned, I enjoyed the Chocolate Heart w/ Sprinkles Donut ($2.00) and the Sugar Donut ($1.75). To my immense surprise, it all tastes very fresh. I adore how the Heart Donut's chocolate glaze comes wet and creamy; its sprinkles add a fun, light crackle. The Sugar Donut is even packed with plentiful sugar; sugar cascades down my chin with each greedy bite. Its fried batter tastes clean and fresh. These donuts are also very fluffy! "YUM!" Concerning ambiance, Azusa Donuts (Azusa) is simple and comfortable. There's a few indoor tables; however, I observed how most customers ordered to-go. It's fairly clean with shiny tables, crisp windows, and well-swept floors, but its interior is fairly generic. Azusa Donuts (Azusa) also has no customer restroom. And there's no music. This business's main sound derives from the loud, humming fridge. Fortunately, the cheerful & friendly greetings and banter from the staff helps alleviate the drab atmosphere. Overall, I found unexpected joy at Azusa Donuts (Azusa). During my visit, this spot felt like a guarded treasure by its locals. The goods are affordable; the staff is kind & welcoming; and its donuts are delicious. There's passion ringing within these walls. If nearby, I wholeheartedly recommend. 4.9 out of 5

After we went to our usual donut spot thought we'd try another one. 3/5 Selection Slim picking as all the shelves were empty except what was on the photo. 3.5/5 Donuts Glazed were soft and fluffy. Sprinkles was a bit hard. Ham jalapeño and cheese croissant was good and they warmed it up for us. There was a hair inside the paper. 5/5 Parking Plentiful spots to choose from. Overall a classic donut shop with indoor seating options. Not sure if I'd swing by again with the hair. Psalm 118:26, God bless

A simple mistake greeted with sass. Mind you, this is also my first time here. Interior is cutely decorated with plants but otherwise pretty minimalistic. Not a study place. Now to the part that matters since I'll only be picking up going forward: Coffees are great.
