There's definitely many reasons why my cousin picked this restaurant to be our stomping grounds…read moretonight with my cousins. I don't have much to say negatively about it to be honest. This place was AMAZING! From the minute we were greeted and asked for our reservation's name to the ending of our experience; it was hands down so great! I had probably one of the best espresso martinis I have ever had. I'm not even joking when I say that. It was delicious. The apps were nothing less than perfect too that we shared for the table. The duck rolls were pretty spot on and that's saying a lot for not being a big fan of duck. We also shared the cauliflower. My main entree was the octopus. I'm glad I asked about spice, because they said it had a kick. So I asked for the sauce to be on the side. Our server, Riley, did it without hesitation for me. The environment was also really pretty for Indian fusion. There was an upside down painting of the Taj Mahal upside down that was sick!

We ordered beef & broccoli bowl, burgers, fish sandwich, chick pea & squash bowl, grilled cheese sandwich, sticky toffee date cake and ice creams. Everything was DELICIOUS!!! Our server, Patrick, was fabulous. Very polite, pleasant and patient. The manager,Travis, was totally the BEST!! From the date I booked our reservation til the date we arrived Travis was very accommodating and very kind! The place is beautiful and lively. I love the open concept. We will definitely dine here agajn!

Although it has a beautiful menu of wines and spirits, we stuck to their filtered water, and asked KC for any recommendations for lunch. He was very engaging, a wonderful communicator, and we made our selections which started with the bacon wrapped dates (YUM). Prior to my order, I mentioned a dietary restriction and KC promptly went to the kitchen to make an inquiry. I ordered the trout with lentil ragout, and my husband ordered a margarita pizza. The atmosphere was very peaceful, with unintrusive music, and we really did enjoy getting to know KC as he made sure that we were satisfied with every plate. This restaurant is upscale, yet with value pricing. Altogether, my husband and I encourage you to enjoy a lovely meal, and make sure to ask for KC! You won't be disappointed!

For my entree, the cresti di gallo which is a pesto and roasted tomato with chicken pasta, it wasn't amazing but it wasn't bad. The chicken was like pieces of rotisserie chicken??? my friends steak & frites were great, cooked medium rare as requested and crispy seasoned fries. Frozen espresso martini was tasty, my first time having one. No regrets.

Today, just stopped in for a couple of Margs solo, easier to get a seat for one, and moved on for dinner next door. If you are going for the drinks, I'm sure you can overlook it. IF YOU ARE VEGAN AND HUNGRY, this place was not worth the price I paid. First, I got the Burrito (honestly, I wish I went to Chipotle. They know how to make a good Burrito.) THE BURRITO WAS CRUNCHY. I asked them if they could make it vegan- best offer was stir fry vegetables with WAYY TOO MUCH OIL, the rice- for some reason, was made with butter. The spices used on the vegetables were SO STRONG (after I asked for mild spice) that I couldn't feel my tongue for 30 min after Eva finally took it away (she offered 2 times, I felt bad about wanting to send it back after 2 bites. I tried to stomach more and I got really bad acid reflux from the spice) she came back to the table and offered to take it away a second time (Probably because she saw I was almost in tears from how I can't taste, my nose is running like a faucet and very quickly questioning my life decisions leading up to this "FOOD") I ordered the veggie Fajitas next. Again, too oily, spicy- but bearable. I was once told "if the food is too spicy, it means they're covering up that they can't cook" for a whopping $37 I learned the hard way. The ambience was basically the bare minimum of what's legally passable as a restaurant. It had tables, an overworked staff that took 20 min to seat us, 20 min after ordering for food and 15 min in between to check on us. This place was overcrowded and way over hyped. Not going again. 0/10 wouldn't recommend. Even if I was starving, I'd walk 40 min to go to Chipotle. At least the burrito will be worth it.

Maybe it's quieter outside but those tables are right next to the street. We had to yell to hear each other. Our server Sebastian was so pushy and constantly upselling us. As soon as we sat down, he asked whether we wanted still or sparkling water, but that question should always have 3 options: still, sparkling, or tap? He then recommended the signature omakase, the most expensive thing on the menu. When he came back to take our order, he made a big pitch of today's rib special. When my husband ordered the 8-piece nigiri, he pushed us to upgrade to the 12-piece option. As we were eating, he asked us what else we wanted to order. We ordered $130 of food for 2 people...seriously? We hadn't even finished yet to gauge if we were still hungry. I know that tips are a percentage of the bill, but you would've thought this kid was getting a commission on top of his tip or something. It rubbed us the wrong way. The tuna crispy rice was $5 per piece and the rice was weirdly chewy. Wouldn't order it again. The nigiri were the highlight of the meal. Each piece felt balanced and the sushi rice was good. We ordered 3 rolls: toro toro, scallop, and yellowtail. All were forgettable and expensive for what they were. The yellowtail roll was bland, which is probably why there's a chili ponzu sauce to go with it because otherwise all you can taste is pear, which isn't a flavor I'm looking for in sushi. We ended our meal with scallop tacos, which were good but microscopic and pricey ($17 for 2 tacos). Each one is a bite and a half. It took a while to flag down Sebastian for the bill, so we were stuck in the din of the restaurant for longer than we liked. If the restaurant's filling up, wouldn't you want to turn our table and seat new guests? My husband made a note on the res that it was my birthday, but it was ignored. Maybe we would've had a better experience with a different waiter, but this was a disappointing meal and service.
