I would give Pat & crew 10 stars if that was a choice! I had seen his work around my neighbor and heard a lot of excellent reviews about his work so I scheduled an appointment with him. From the moment he arrived & started talking about the potential for my backyard design, I knew he was the right guy for the job - I actually cancelled all my other landscape design appointments and never looked back!!! Pat provided amazing design ideas, flexible proposals, line item pricing, creative options for design throughout, stayed within the budget, was clean & tidy, provided constant communication, was onsite daily overseeing & working alongside his crew and was SUPER detail oriented, which was something that you just don't find with many contractors these days. My project was delayed due to the pool builder and Pat never once was frustrated by the delays, instead he asked what he could do to help get the project moving. We decided to move forward even though the pool was on hold (for no good reason) and after some serious frustration with the pool builder, I pulled all of the travertine, coping and stacked stone work from the pool builder and I'm SOO GLAD I did. Pat & his team did an awesome job, the results way exceeded my expectations & really brought the backyard to life! Again, the attention to detail was unbelievable and honestly, not something I have experienced in previous jobs. Sonoran Earthworks is fantastic. We had Pat and his crew replace our entire drip system a year ago (nearly half an acre of hard digging). It's not only saved us money to have the water timer zoned properly and working correctly--it saved our mature landscaping. Pat was courteous, professional, showed up when he said he would and did the work that was quoted. He made sure our yard was clean at the end of each day they were here by spraying away dirt and dust from high traffic areas...and he took care to make sure his guys shut our gates properly, so as to keep the dog in. (Our dog would be a nice snack for the coyotes and bobcats around the Preserve.) He even went over and above to come out and fix a leak a few months after that we thought was our landscaping...but ended up being related to our pool water line. He fixed it without complaint that it wasn't landscaping-related...which was very kind. His work ethic is unparalleled. We've recommended him to several friends and colleagues who've hired him...and their landscape designs and installations look beautiful. His talents definitely lie in design and outdoor lighting. Pat and his crew with Sonoran Earthworks did an exceptional job on our brick paver/patio remodel. This was a two week project that included complete patio remodel/ design, planters, transitions, and making more usable space in our backyard. I can't stop smiling everytime I step out onto our new patio and take in the transformation. The crew was extremely professional and very punctual (arrived every AM at 7am) and cleaned up daily! Patrick and team were incredible. We had a backyard remodel taking our original backyard that was not changed from when we bought the house, and was in pretty bad shape. Patrick sat down with us several times, and helped us design a backyard that met our needs. We are not designers, and this is our first large landscaping project we ever undertook. We had general thoughts on a couple of important items, but really had no true design. Patrick came up with excellent ideas, using his extensive knowledge to know how to take our basic thoughts and implement them. Another shoutout for Patrick and his team from Sonoran Earthworks. In February they did a complete makeover of our front yard and did a great job. (see pics from my Feb. post) About a month afterward a couple of plants started to look a bit sad. I called Patrick and he came out, to a look, and immediately replaced them and put a new bulb in one of the yard lights. Yesterday I found a leak in the irrigation system. I didn't think it was part of the remodel but I called them anyway. Patrick came out this morning and repaired a significant leak at no charge even though it wasn't part of his remodel. I had a great experience working with Patrick on my front yard redesign. I only had the basic framework of what I was looking for, but he came in with a lot of great ideas and helped me realize my vision. They did everything, including installing new lighting, building an outdoor fireplace, reworking my sprinklers, expanding the patio, and re-sealing a flowerbed that was leaking into the house.
