The app never…read moreworks or manages to complete an order when there's a promo going on (tried this on like 3 different holiday promos now), and usually complains that it can't verify the pricing even when it recognizes the promo. However, if you come in and order via the kiosk, the promos won't even be recognized and a lot of times toppings are missing from the list even though you can clearly see drinks being made with that topping by the workers as you are ordering. Seems like the only way to use a promo is to order with a human, but the workers are often so busy that they don't come to the register and point you towards the kiosk. I love the drinks and that they now have snacks (even if the fries changed to be skinny fries), but they really need to stop pretending to have promos and then have all of their technology fail you out of it so you can't get it.

I'll come back but it's primarily to finish the gift card and maybe get my rewards. L O C A T I O N Teaspoon is located off of Calaveras Blvd in the shopping center with the Grocery Outlet Bargain Market which is closer to 880. It's a sizeable parking lot but this place can get busy and full during peak eating times as there are a few very popular restaurants here. I found a parking spot not too far away. I N S I D E It's not a large space but they do have some seats if you're looking to meet up with someone. It's nice inside. M E N U The menu hasn't changed too much over the years. I feel like it's missing some standard tea flavors but they do have some specialty fruit drinks. Today I ended up going back to the tried and true House Milk Tea and I added grass jelly. No added sugar nor ice so there was a bit of space at the top of the drink but it wasn't exhorbitant. My memory of Teaspoon seemed to clash with what I got. I drank my drink and sadly the tea flavor is very faint even feels a bit watered down. But you can taste that this blend does have bergamot which is generally a sign of some kind of earl grey. The lactose free option for milk was okay but it definitely didn't make the drink creamy which was a bummer. So it was definitely more on the watery side of milk teas. S E R V I C E I walked in and two folks were in the store and just talking to each other. I went to the kiosk to order my drinks. There's a way to enter your phone number to claim rewards but there's no way to create or add yourself to their rewards system unless you download the app which is a bummer. I used to have their rewards program but I guess they moved everything to their own app. Since my data in the store wasn't great, I ended up signing up after and luckily they still had my information. I just wish my order had been added to the account. Oh well! My drink was made fairly quickly as I was the only person there. O V E R A L L I don't gravitate to Teaspoon for drinks and I think after this experience, I can say I just am not a Teaspoon person. But will I come back? Sure cause I still have a gift card. Maybe I'll stick to their other drinks and not their milk tea.

To clear up any confusion, this is a korean soft serve dessert menu offered inside Sunfish Poke Bar. They offer milky soft serve and shakes. I've been here twice. Staff are cross trained in both menus, so there's no delays. If you have no problem having soft serve in a restaurant that smells like seafood, then Milkcow is the place for you! I had the Milky Matcha with a chocolate drizzle on my first visit. Then I had the Milky Coffee w/ Caramel drizzle on my second visit. This was my first time trying korean soft serve. It has a different texture than regular soft serve ice cream. I would describe it as a soft, fluffy, and velvety texture. The Milky Matcha is a twist combo of matcha and vanilla, with a matcha sauce/topping. Even with a chocolate drizzle, you could still taste the earthy flavor of the matcha. The Milky Coffee wasn't as impressive, but still a nice dessert. I will definitely come again.

I didn't see a menu with snacks and sandwiches though. Not sure if it's hidden somewhere else today. Credit cards are accepted. Cute decorations. There's plenty of small tables for two people and some long tables inside. Outside is very basic. Narrow space. Not huge. I went for the coconut matcha cloud beverage. The cashier wasn't at the counter for minutes, but she's definitely in the kitchen. She turned out to be an older lady with Buddhism religious vibes. It took a bit longer, maybe 10-12 minutes before she was able to assist me and make my drink. When I got the beverage, it looked much more different than expected for coconut matcha cloud drink. It's more like very light matcha taste with jelly in it. I didn't taste coconut in mine. Perhaps I was thinking about the cloud beverages at other places that are more cloudy white blue and green in colors. Overall, it was still hydrating and the size is good value. I give it to her and I don't hear her remake it and I think she just pulls the ice out with the bug on it. The sandwich looks fine I see the meat and it's mostly pork floss and a TON of mayonnaise. I only realize this after taking a bite and have to spit it out into my napkin (I never spit food out like this). There's no trash inside for me to toss the food and I don't just want to leave so I let the lady know I was leaving and not eating any of it. No refund asked for and no refund given. $13 lesson learned.

I parked and was greeted by a very nice gentleman! He let me know it was their 7 year event and happened me a free flyer! I tried the Oat Burst Sticky Rice Yogurt today and really enjoyed all the textures. The coolest part of this drink was the popping oat boba. Each boba had an oat in it and it was fun going from a pop texture to a thick chew. The menu recommended 30% sugar and I agree. My partner got 50% for his regular milk tea boba drink and it was too sweet. (But still tasty) Another fun part of UME tea is that they have a sample dispenser. So we also tried the champaca milk tea. It's a very light floral flavor that was hard to notice, but I'm glad we were able to see what it tasted like. Cute packaging and set up so if that adds to the experience, Ume tea is a good option.

Sheng Kee Bakery whole cakes are not overly expensive and you get a good size too. Sometimes, I just wish that they would add more other types of fruit cakes with more fresh fruit toppings on them on display too. Fruit cake lovers. All positive here.
