I have Been coming to this restaurant as a novelty for many years. Before working in civil service I was a restaurant manager for two different Greek restaurants for about 15 years so I know my stuff immediately when it comes to Greek food and presentation and Of course portions and what is supposed to go with certain things which is one of my two primary complaints. One of the biggest slaps in the face to any customer is the actually charge them for a condiment that actually goes with the meal. On this case it's the pita bread ... I would say tzatziki... Which is everybody's favourite when it comes to Greek food and a must with any meat dish, but I will say they gave me a 2 ounce one which is a paltry size to give to a customer and to charge me $1.50 for another cup which is only 2 ounces. In my previous restaurant where I was a manager our cups were 4 ounce large soufflé cups which were overflowing with Suszycki and if a customer asked us for an extra one it would be no problem as extra customer service to throw in an extra one in the bag. Under no circumstances should a Greek restaurant ever charge person for pita bread ... when there would be any kind of souvlaki or meat dish especially Greek sausage. The next complaint is showing the picture and size of one measly sausage which is cut into two pieces would you pay $10 for that? I was so disappointed to see there was basically no sauce inside which is usually like a white wine sauce with capers which is very traditional and should always be accompanied with Greek sausage and you can see the size of the sausage compare to one single lemon wedge. This is completely unacceptable and while the sausage was excellent, it does not warrant a price Tag of $10 and pita bread should be given with it, I'm much much better choice for Greek food in Bay Ridge would be the Greek restaurant at the corner of 86 Street and 4th Avenue which without question gives extra sauce and pita bread even with a souvlaki which I could have gotten more meat for $4 and change with Pita bread and Tzatziki no extra charge. I most likely will not come here again and just go to the one on the corner of 86 Street. Are used to come in here and sit down while having the appetiser and I could have sworn that the sausage was a much larger portion what would have been fair would have been at least double what is shown in the picture, I swear it was only one sausage put on the grill that was cut and half although it looks like to one of them is very small and regardless you can see the size of the lemon wedge next to it and no extra sauce and capers which I was really looking forward to read more

Hit or miss, sometimes a good meal and experience, sometimes not. It's that sort of thing that'll stop a regular from coming back when it happens too often. Liked this place a lot for a year or so, but even pre-covid things were starting to getting sloppy. From randomly uncooked chunks of chicken souvlaki to missing items in takeout orders, or rude service when dining in... you never knew what you'd get. Total grab bag. The food was generally good, but then other times... it was just bad. Dry rice, stale greasy gyro meat, dried out grape leaves, separated and rancid smelling tzaziki. I'm not sure what to say, honestly. One tip if you go, DON'T order the chicken gyro, it's absolutely awful. Old dried out scraps of shredded chicken that are entirely inedible. read more

I had low expectations for this place. As I entered, there were only two parties dining. My expectations dropped lower after that. I walked in and was told to sit anywhere. I sat in the outdoor area, nice, comfortable and breezy compared to the feeling indoors. The service was very friendly and genuine but too slow. I was getting annoyed and tired waiting for my food and other condiments. I think this place can use a new look because the atmosphere is just off. Since I sat outdoors, I felt like I was just eating my takeout in my backyard. As I walked through the inside seating area, the air was stuffy and it felt like a cafeteria or pizza joint. It can be so much better. The food was above my expectations. I don't eat Greek food often nor do I know much about authentic greek food so all I can say was that the food was great! Hummus and Pita Bread - the hummus was finely blended with the right about of herbs and the pita bread was warm and soft. I wished it was a little more crisp though. The greek salad was good but sorry I had better. My salad was missing onions, weird. I could've used a little more cheese. I added a protein for a surcharge but the protein portion was way too small! Pork Souvlaki was decent. It was more tender and juicy than expected. I could use some more sodium but i should not. The lemon potatoes were very ordinary. Nothing special. The rice pilaf was good. It wasn't too dry or saucy, just nicely seasoned to complement the rest of the food. The drink selections were boring, I wanted a nice beverage to go with my meal. I was aiming for a beer but the selection they offered did not entice me so I didn't even bother to figure out what they offer for house wines. I think a good drink would have been the icing to my meal. Overall, I really liked the food but that was it. I would see myself coming back to dine here again but I really wish they'd deliver to my house. Unfortunately I live too far from their delivery range. read more

This will be the absolute LAST time I bother ordering from this place. I have been a customer for YEARS, ordering at least once a month for delivery and frequenting the restaurant in Bay Ridge, but as of today, I've absolutely had enough. I placed an order for delivery with the very nice woman who picked up the phone. Very pleasant to speak to. HOWEVER, after over an hour waiting for a delivery, I tried calling the restaurant to check on my order and the phone was off the hook for a half hour. The business owner must be a millionaire with all the business they have going on... so much business that they put their phone on 'busy' when it's not convenient for them to take anymore orders. After finally getting through an hour and a half after ordering, I was told on the phone that my order wasn't even put in yet. So, it was not yet cooked, not ready for delivery, and not on the way. On what planet is that okay? The food has always been satisfactory but I'm not sure how the owner is running this restaurant. They are either under staffed or just don't know how to work a restaurant. There is no reason to treat customers like that. They're not serving up gold. I've never seen a line out the door so customers should not be waiting two hours to get their food. Not ordering from here or coming here again. I'll take my business elsewhere. read more

I placed orders online with this restaurant on two separate occasions, once last week and once this week. Both times they have cancelled on me without reason and without reaching out to me. Instead, the order would be confirmed for over half an hour, and it would show that it is en route to me, and then cancelled. They are less than a mile away from me and don't close for another few hours. Unbelievable. Although now that I've read some of the reviews about their restaurant, I'm glad I didn't have to experience the substandard food from this restaurant. read more

This place was really good and the staff was really nice. It was a happy place to be and surrounds were pleasant. As of Recently the same waitresses don't work there. I just spent 37$ on two plates and asked to use the bathroom and she said no in somewhat of a rude or dirty way. She didn't say sorry I can't let you, to which I would have said I understand. Instead she just asked if I wanted to order like I was scamming to use the bathroom. I then left and said I will be back for my food when I find somewhere to pee, because it was intolerable to wait as I have a bladder problem. With the COVID going around I could understand the concern, although I think it's over the top of your gonna serve expensive food. But just "no" isn't a suffiecent way to speak to anyone. We have went here a few times now and the food has been always delicious. This is not a place you really want to go for service but rather the quality of the food. This is a true hidden gem for the Bayridge community. We normally get the tomato salad as well as the signature salad. Besides the delicious salads they have really good Gyro specifically chicken and their chicken souvlaki is amazing. This simple yet satisfying Greek restaurant is probably my favorite in Brooklyn, def my fav in BayRidge. The food is always fresh to order. I usually get the chicken souvlaki platter. It comes with two skewers of perfectly seasoned grilled chicken. It's always moist with the perfect amount of char. The fries are hand cut potatoes, identical to the kind that you would get in Greece, and the Greek salad is something that keeps me craving this simple meal at least once a month! One of my student`s have me a $25 gift certificate as a year-end gift. I placed an order on the phone and sent my daughter in to pick it up. She came out with her credit card in her hand and a take-out bag. She said they refused to accept the gift certificate. I went inside the restaurant with my daughter and asked for an explanation from the manager. The manager told me that the person who signed the certificate no longer worked there and that it was not valid. I showed her that the certificate was good until the end of 2019. She then asked if we still wanted the food. I told her absolutely not and to refund my daughter. She did issue the refund on the spot, but I will NEVER step foot in that restaurant again. I just read a similar review to an experience I had - raw meat that got both me and my girlfriend sick. We ordered burgers and souvlaki platters. After close to an hour wait for delivery, we were totally famished. We bit into the burger and both were massively undercooked - bloody on the inside. I called to complain and was given a big attitude from a manager named Maria. She said they would send a replacement but would need to inspect the undercooked burgers. Seriously?! Okay, over 40 mins later we receive the new burgers which were dry and overcooked. I called back and the same manager Maria said "well I don't own the place, I don't know what to say". Went for lunch today. Place is cute, they have nice garden seating in the back of the restaurant. Had shrimp skewers with lemon potatoes,really creamy tzatziki, a side salad and warm pita. Shrimps we're so tender I couldn't believe how good everything was. Service was spot on too. Added bonus, the bathroom was clean. I have been a customer of this establishment for years, but I'm not sure what changed there recently. The food and service is terrible!! Tonight, I picked up a spanakopita platter, it was barely warm and completely uncooked; also received no tzatiki sauce, which is supposed to be included in the order. I called and spoke to some inefficient worker, who was unapologetic and when I requested that a new one be delivered at this point, he hesitantly agreed and told me to give the food back to the delivery driver. The delivery driver arrived with a spinach pie, no rice, still no tzatiki, but did bring a rude attitude. Don't waste your time or money with this less than tasteful food and service. Okay, I had this for the first time ever Tuesday and I've already had it twice-- it's only Thursday. Priced well, filling and delicious. They catered a work event for my coworkers and I on Tuesday and I was able to dine in today for lunch. When they catered I was able to try their Chicken souvlaki, lamb and beef gyro, lemon potatoes, spanakopita, and their salad. Everything was so delicious and their team was really helpful in getting an order in and delivered for 20 people only 3 hours before the event. Their gyro was sliced so thinly and cooked to perfection! We ordered the domaldes- grape leaves stuffed with rice and I have to say we barely had any leftovers. I went back for lunch today and their restaurant is very quaint. It's not the fanciest place in the world, it's pretty casual and it's located in Bay Ridge Brooklyn so you can guarantee it's authentically Greek. With blue chairs- which seems to be the color all Greek restaurants choose- the place is clean and offers a great menu. I ordered the gyro platter for lunch which was only $13 and came with a huge portion of mixed lamb and beef gyro, a choice of rice or fries, a domalde, a large side salad, and tzatiki. I ventured in on an otherwise cold winter night and happy to call this place homely. Greek cuisine is hard to come by despite there being a significant population of Greeks in Bay Ridge. This is among the few I would recommend for comfort food. (A rating between 4-4.5 is more accurate, in my opinion) 4.5/5.0 It was empty at the time but once I put in my dinner order for the mixed grill platter, hordes of customers started flowing in. A decent sized seating area and warmly lit decor make for a good dining experience. The mixed grill came out timely and piping hot. Topped with gyro meat, it came with chicken souvlaki, sausage, pita, Greek salad, dolmades, and fries. For any normal person, it would be belly-busting, but in my case it was perfect for me. I finished it, but just barely. The chicken was a touch dry but it had a nice grilled char and quite flavorful. In the winter the outside garden is now going to be enclosed and heated for extra seating. Yes, they even have desserts that sounded incredible yummy! A very large pot of Rice Pudding was bubbling as I was ordering my food and the smell was out of this world if only it was done I would of ordered some. Something Signature Sandwich: the description sounds delicious. The sandwich has sundried tomatoes, lettuce, chicken, feta, and tzazitki sauce. This sandwich was sad. Too much sauce that was straight up ranch. The pita was soggy and you couldn't taste anything but the sauce. Sadly, I could not eat more than half of the sandwich. Fries: How can you mess up fries? I quickly opened the container to avoid a soggy mess. Yet, they were still soggy, but I can deal with that. However, they tasted stale and had no salt on them. That is an injustice to a french fry. The worst part was one of their cooks who stared at my friend and I while cutting the chicken and preparing the sandwich. He would directly face us and wink at us. The Hummus-a creamy blend of chickpeas, garlic & herbs was a good dip for the Pita Bread. Although I kept dipping the pita bread with yogurt more. I think that was a better combination. Entree: Greek-Style Gyro Platter- slow-roasted rotisserie pork served with rice and side salad. I definitely enjoy this dish. The rotisserie pork wasn't dry or hard. It was cooked just right. Service was a bit slow with our appetizers, but the food was good. Prices are reasonable. It is an open kitchen, so you can see your food being made. The place itself is small, but not too small. Came here on a saturday afternoon for lunch. Wasn't too busy. Decor looks pretty modern and new. Was offered warm pita bread and some yogurt dip to start. Had the meatball for appetizer and the gyro platter for entree. The pita bread was good and soft. The meatballs were ok. A little small but taste a little more unique than your typical meatballs. The gyro platter looked good and tasted good. The salad that came with it was fresh. The meat was soft and not chewy. Better than other greek place i had. Service was pretty good and fast. Decided on Greek food so we stopped to try this new place in the neighborhood. The decor was vibrant and comfortable. There's a back garden area which was not furnished with tables and chairs yet. It was a simple menu of traditional Greek dishes. That worked for us. Started off with the Pikilia (dip sampler). The hummus, tzatziki & taramasalata (caviar dip) were served with warm pita bread. Hummus was very garlicky. Tzatziki was spot on--very refreshing. The caviar dip was our least favorite. There was ONE French fry and I really mean one. I opened up the sandwich and took a picture.
