Based on previous experiences, I expected knowledgeable help being measured and fitted. Instead the young lady helping me seemed to be unsure how to help. I brought in my current bras (all purchased at Belle Lacette) to see if I could get the same or similar in a correct size. These were all full coverage, everyday types of bras. First - no measurements, or even an offer to measure me. She wasn't able to find the bra I wanted - not her fault I they're no longer carried. She brought me some alternatives. One worked, but the others were wrong shape, wrong size. It I was there to try things on, so I was willing to try on more. She brought back a skimpy, lingerie type bra. Nothing at all like what I showed her. No coverage - this was an assembly of straps and minimal cups. It was pretty but so far out of the ballpark from the examples I brought in. I had to call it quits. She wasn't able to help. Maybe she's never been trained? I come here for the service, but now I'll just order a few sizes from another source on line and try on at home. Such a disappointing experience.

I purchased two bras and after getting them home, tried them on again for a longer period of time than I had in the dressing room, and one caused me to break out in a rash because the fabric turned out to be extremely itchy. I was a first time customer and it was not even mentioned that there is no refund for returns should they not work out. They should be very up front with that information. It is the responsibility of the shop to INFORM VERBALLY to new customers about an extremely different return policies that are nowhere near the same in other businesses selling the same products. I was appalled and disgusted that I couldn't return them for a refund when I had never worn them and came back a week after purchase-soonest I could get there considering their store hours and I work a full time job. This is absolutely the "pink tax" or "women tax." To say no return whatsoever is unacceptable in business today and honestly now I have a store credit I will not use and I will not refer this business to anyone. I have lost nearly $200, so to me, this is theft by the business considering I won't be able to find a bra that fits my body type in that shop. Store credit is useless when it won't get used and to say it never expires well, what if the business closes? Then the store credit is absolutely useless. I had hoped to find good customer service at a local business, but turns out that is not the case.

The interaction felt dismissive and quite rude. Given that this is a high-end boutique selling very expensive bras, I expected a higher level of customer service and professionalism. Unfortunately, I did not feel valued as a potential customer and will not be returning. I would not recommend this store based on my experience. Thank you for taking the time to respond. I'd like to clarify that my concern was never about your appointment policy. If fittings require appointments, I completely respect that. What I did not appreciate was the manner in which I was spoken to when I walked in. The tone felt dismissive and unwelcoming, which is why I left feeling disappointed. After leaving, we sat outside at La La Land for quite some time and did not see a 3:00 appointment arrive at or shortly thereafter. Regardless, whether a client was scheduled or not, professionalism and courtesy are what I value most in a retail experience -- especially in a high-end boutique setting. We all have challenging days, and I genuinely understand running a business solo. However, it's never okay for a customer to feel spoken down to or unwelcome. I stand by my experience and wish you well.
