I stopped into this store hoping to be fitted for two new bras. The store was completely empty, yet the owner told me I would need to come back on Tuesday to be fitted. The interaction felt dismissive and quite rude. Given that this is a high-end boutique selling very expensive bras, I expected a higher level of customer service and professionalism. Unfortunately, I did not feel valued as a potential customer and will not be returning. I would not recommend this store based on my experience. Thank you for taking the time to respond. I'd like to clarify that my concern was never about your appointment policy. If fittings require appointments, I completely respect that. What I did not appreciate was the manner in which I was spoken to when I walked in. The tone felt dismissive and unwelcoming, which is why I left feeling disappointed. After leaving, we sat outside at La La Land for quite some time and did not see a 3:00 appointment arrive at or shortly thereafter. Regardless, whether a client was scheduled or not, professionalism and courtesy are what I value most in a retail experience -- especially in a high-end boutique setting. I had an absolutely lovely time shopping for bras here today! My mom and I both went together and were greeted by our amazing fitters, Emma and Margie (one of the owners). We both felt absolutely attended to and comfortable in the space, and both came out with well fitting and comfortable pieces that made us feel beautiful. I found gorgeous bras that actually fit and flatter me with Emma's help, and I had a great time (something that normally doesn't happen when shopping for clothes in general, let alone intimate apparel). She empathized with my situation and invited me to come in this evening and explained that they are having service issues with their current phone provider and that they do have a voicemail. I really appreciate the prompt follow up and accountability, and I'm excited to go back in and get a bra that we're sure fits *perfectly*. My other bra is wonderful so I have no doubts I'll be able to get this resolved. Their location is quite far from me so I tried calling at 11 AM and have called 3 times since, trying after 30 minutes each time. I haven't been able to get through at all, and I'm disappointed that there's no voicemail. I ended up emailing them and will update this review with how they respond (if they're able to). If you have a phone number associated with your business, please make sure that it's either available to be called or at the very least, have a voicemail. Forcing customers to either A) Travel a long distance to speak in person or B) call multiple times is frustrating to say the least. I sincerely hope they respond positively to my email and are open to either an exchange or refund. I am ashamed to admit how long it has been since I bought a new bra. Add on top of that, some COVID weight gain, and I knew I needed to be properly fitted, and not just do the usual practice of grabbing a ton of different sizes and trying to "make it work" in a department store fitting room. After reading some less than flattering reviews of another bra store in town, I found glowing reviews for Story Essentials and made a fitting appointment online. LOVE that feature. Easy! The space is really lovely. Bright. Clean. I like that it is a small store, which helps make it feel less overwhelming and more welcoming. It also helped that I had an appointment. I was taken back into a fitting room, which was well lit and luxurious, by Jen and we talked a bit about what is or isn't working with my current foundations garments. No measuring! She knows her products exceptionally well and was great at bringing me a wide selection for me to try. We adjusted sizing and straps. I walked out with three new pieces that I'm very happy with!! And I will most definitely be back. I LOVE that they keep a record of my purchases and even a "wish list" for things to return for. Talk about an amazing personal shopping experience! Now - I do have to say this is the most I have ever spent for foundation pieces. However, these are also probably the best fitting bras I've ever had. The level of hands-on attention and expertise, plus the open environment with natural light and luxury decor makes me feel like a queen. What a great experience! Bra shopping has always been a daunting task for me. I am large and natural and typically focus on function/support as not many large sized bras are all that attractive. That's no longer true with Blossoms & Beehives in my life. When I walked in, I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Carrie and she assured me I was in the right place. She introduced me to Jen and we got to work. Jen brought about 20 bras for me to try (not all at once) and half of them were great options. I can usually find 2 bras that I love but I bought 3 (plus a sports bra) and left 4 behind for next time. Most of their bras are on the pricey/high end but so beautiful and worth it. The atmosphere in the store was amazing it all felt so personal. The store owner herself was so helpful and attentive in helping my find what I was looking for. I've never had a bra that was the perfect size, and before I'd always been so uncomfortable while wearing them. These ladies helped me find not one, but three bras that fit me so well I don't want to take any of them off. Recently fouls this wonderful bra shop. After a HORRIBLE experience at a different store we'd found this shop using yelp. I use a larger cup size (42H) and it's very difficult to find bras in my size. We called to verified they carried my size range and they confirmed. When we got to the shop Jen the store manager was incredible. Very knowledgeable and great at knowing how size and style to my frame. Because of my cup size, styles and colors are few and far. I was able to walk out with two great bras, but Jen went above and beyond by ordering a bra in my size in a different color. She emailed me when it arrived so that I could in to try it on to assure it fit, of course it fit perfectly and I walk away with another great bra in a different color other than black or beige! She was looking specifically for bridal lingerie and I was just there to browse but the manager, Jen, made the experience wonderful. Completely relaxed, and gave us our space while being very helpful and attentive. They have super high end brands like La Perla and more affordable ones like Eberjey. Anything you like they can order in other colors, sizes, etc. We both ended up spending much more than we planned and will certainly be back. I had an outstanding experience yesterday (and did not walk away with a new bra as hoped). I was greeted so pleasantly and personably upon entering the boutique. Jen introduced herself quickly and began to inquire as to what I was looking for. She spent about 30-40 minutes finding different bras to accommodate what I was looking for and was attentive to me throughout the process as well as gave me professional feedback to help me make the best decision. I was impressed with the minute detail (the construction/marketing) that she was able to elaborate on with the final bra which I had selected, which has been ordered from France, since my hopeful size was not in stock. I appreciate that she did not try to coerce me to buy the one I tried on and suggested that I at least try the smaller size before making my final decision. (The bras are more costly than most, but they are in investment because they last much longer than the standard bras that you can find in regular department stores, so it's worth the time and effort to be absolutely sure that you're in the best bra for your size/shape. I live in N. Phoenix and have traveled to another excellent lingerie story Belle Lancet, but not wishing to make the commute, I tried out Blossoms & Beehives. As it turns out, this is a 24 min. commute for me and given the variety of selection for my interests, the excellent customer service, I will never need to shop elsewhere! I had my eye on a specific Fleur of England set as a gift for my wife and when I called ahead to confirm availability in her size, Isabella was incredibly helpful.
