I am self conscious about certain parts of my body but, no matter what style I did, Jodi went above and beyond to make me feel confident and beautiful about my body and definitely made sure that my photos reflected how amazing I felt and showed off every feature of my body. I am so much more confident thanks to her and the photos she took of me. Jodi was beyond amazing and very professional. She made me feel amazing and gave me so many great suggestions for the positions and different outfits that I would not typically see myself doing! Miranda is a professional and has such positive energy you cant help but feel comfortable. The process seemed self indulgent so I avoided it for years. But I did it -loved it , and had a lot of fun feeling feminine and sensual even in my 50's. It was I gift for my husband but also myself. As someone who is typically more comfortable taking the photos than being in them, it was nice to see myself in a flattering light with no judgement but my own. It is something I can hang on to and even if I never show anyone - it is a powerful thing to have for yourself. I recently had my second shoot with Le Boudoir. I did my first nearly 10 years ago as a wedding gift for my husband. This time though was as much for me as him after a baby and body changes that come with life and age. Miranda was such a professional! Words cannot adequately describe how awesome Miranda is. I have debated doing a boudoir session for a while and am so glad I finally did it. The experience and results were worth every penny. From booking to the shoot everything was so seamless. Her style guide was perfect and made me feel prepared. She was responsive to questions and made me feel like a friend vs a client. When she says "just show up; it's my job to make you look good", she means it. I brought extra outfits and she helped me sift through to pick the best. As someone who feels awkward posing for family photos and generally hides from cameras I was totally out of my element. Miranda put me at ease and took away any need to second guess about what to do. She demonstrated poses first and coached along the way. She has a great attention to detail, fixing straps and nudging material and hair into the right places as we went. She was sensitive to insecurities, but made me feel comfortable enough to step of my comfort zone. There was no judgement if I couldn't hold a pose; we just moved on. I felt so confident throughout and left walking on air.  The real proof is in the pictures though.  I knew they'd be good, but damn they are amazing! And some of those "problem areas" I thought I'd want to hide turned out to be my favorite shots. A little compassion goes a long way. Even if it doesn't mean anything to you, it could mean everything to them. Especially around the holiday's and being pregnant. I wish they would've considered my request (and put themselves in my shoes) and refunded me my deposit (even partially) especially since I gave them a month's notice to cancel.Their contract is a little deceiving or I would've never signed it, that was my mistake. Okay so I was not only stressed, it was next level stressed. I even took a shot of patron in the car at 10am stressed. BUT!!! I bought headshots, and they came out the best I've EVER had, and this is strictly due to the photography. Headshots are tricky. My deal was bought at Living Social/Group-on where I searched for "Headshots" specials. So this is a Boudoir speciality, but they do other photography. This woman Traci is an expert, who does the photography--placement and lighting. I got a good price for headshots, and excellent result and service. You can get the same deal by calling the company directly. I visited the Tempe location. Service was top notch, from scheduling and arrival thru the delivery of digital photo proofs, approval and then getting them. All on-time, all fast. I bought the headshots, then I paid for upgrade for make-up and hair. I could have done as well on my make-up, but they use a matt that is good for camera, and there was nothing wrong with it. The hair, the young college girl doing makeup and hair--my hair was terrible job they did, I combed it out. As an older woman, this college girl teased up my hair and puffed it out into a bouffant dated hair style--that I suppose younger generation think we want and like. We don't! Instructions for arrival for this hair styling was to come in clean dry hair. Thank goodness I have a good cut, that it combed out ok, and the photographer was so good, else this hairstyle would have been disastrous for my headshots and a waste of money (which is often the case). Photos often show up hair sticking out, and make your hair look flatter and closer to the face than it is. Still, this hairstyle was horrendous that I was given. But it worked fine when I combed it out. Do NOT pay for a hairstyle. You do not need to pay make-up either--but the make-up worked fine and my shots were good. My package got two outfits, but I wanted two pictures in my digital proofs. I wasn't charged extra for that but normally it's an extra fee. Having two choices gave me a better choice on headshots, assuming two is better than one (choice). They came out perfect. I got 13 shots in proofs and sent the two best ones to close friends for their choice. Use this company. She does an A++ job on photography, that is the key. She is also wonderful to work with, friendly, professional, and puts you at ease (important for your pictures). My smile never comes out--its a smirk, nor am I photogenic. The staff were all professional too, including the young woman doing my make-up and hair. I got excellent end to end experience from booking, to onsite visit, to post-delivery and very efficient.
