Miranda was so kind from the beginning phone call. She was very warm and made sure to learn more about me as a person to shape the session, as well as sharing her own personal connection and drive to do her work. Communication was very clear throughout the process on logistics, checking in on my preferences and personal styles from things like what words I wanted to embody in my pictures to even the type of music I wanted played the day of, which was helpful and made everything very personalized. The day of was great! Her studio sets are very nice, and it was clear from her opening event that she's created a great community around her. I was nervous and tend to get very self conscious when taking pictures, but she made me feel so comfortable and walked me through everything. I think it's a testament to her warm personality that things felt very natural and fun. I felt the prettiest I've ever been looking at some of the photos she showed me, and I can't wait to see the final ones! Would definitely recommend if you're curious at all and want a little confidence boost/reminder of who you are. read more

This was my 4th session with Miranda, but I booked it almost 18 months ago after my first session. Why? It's that memorable! The entire experience will stay with you a long time. Miranda is so good at making you feel special. She covers everything practical, and then on the actual day spends hours with you. She will keep you company during hair and makeup (Tanya is exceptionally talented) and help you fine tune the looks you are going for. This shoot was to celebrate my upcoming 60th birthday. I was excited to do a set with the wings. I can tell you, it was magical!!! If you are considering this, please do it. You are safe with Miranda and will not regret doing this for yourself. read more

Just absolutely amazing. Miranda is phenomenal with her camera skills as well as her hospitality skills. She made me feel at ease and so comfortable like I was a girlfriend talking about every day life. She is very responsive and interactive. She was great with her instructions and never made me feel rushed. She also was available to answer any questions I had prior to my appt. I was impressed with the makeup/hair artist Tanya. They make a great team to get amazing photos. 1 billion out of 10 recommend. read more

Miranda is a professional and has such positive energy you cant help but feel comfortable. The process seemed self indulgent so I avoided it for years. But I did it -loved it , and had a lot of fun feeling feminine and sensual even in my 50's. It was I gift for my husband but also myself. As someone who is typically more comfortable taking the photos than being in them, it was nice to see myself in a flattering light with no judgement but my own. It is something I can hang on to and even if I never show anyone - it is a powerful thing to have for yourself. Knowing you can be strong, professional, resilient , etc but also have this feminine part of yourself documented as part of you also, is really cool-whether you share it or not. That being said -my husband loved it ;) read more

Miranda and her team are amazing. Not only during the day of the shoot, but the communication prior to my shoot was amazing. I absolutely loved her process and how she made me feel comfortable and built trust with me prior to the session. Definitely allowed me to drop my walls and embrace the experience. Overall, I felt so sexy and confident. It's the perfect way to show yourself some self love and get pampered for a day. I can't wait to see the results! Absolutely would book again with Miranda!! read more

Le Boudoir Studio - Boudoir Photography Near Me

I recently had my second shoot with Le Boudoir. I did my first nearly 10 years ago as a wedding gift for my husband. This time though was as much for me as him after a baby and body changes that come with life and age. Miranda was such a professional! She did my hair and makeup as well as the photography and I had such a great time. She made me feel very at ease and comfortable. She also was conscientious of things I was self-conscious about and specifically didn't want to be in photos which I really appreciated. When my photos came back I was so impressed and it was a great confidence boost. Everyone should do boudoir at some point in their lives and you can't get better than Miranda at Le Boudoir! read more

I have not been able to be a client of Miranda and her team yet but I have been a member of her Facebook group for a long time. She shares her stories along with client stories and pictures from their sessions with her. Her work is absolutely stunning and I can not wait until I can work with her! I have done boudoir photography before and I can tell you, her prices are very good compared to other companies. If you are on the fence, take the plunge and work with Miranda. read more

Words cannot adequately describe how awesome Miranda is. I have debated doing a boudoir session for a while and am so glad I finally did it. The experience and results were worth every penny. From booking to the shoot everything was so seamless. Her style guide was perfect and made me feel prepared. She was responsive to questions and made me feel like a friend vs a client. When she says "just show up; it's my job to make you look good", she means it. I brought extra outfits and she helped me sift through to pick the best. As someone who feels awkward posing for family photos and generally hides from cameras I was totally out of my element. Miranda put me at ease and took away any need to second guess about what to do. She demonstrated poses first and coached along the way. She has a great attention to detail, fixing straps and nudging material and hair into the right places as we went. She was sensitive to insecurities, but made me feel comfortable enough to step of my comfort zone. There was no judgement if I couldn't hold a pose; we just moved on. I felt so confident throughout and left walking on air.  The real proof is in the pictures though.  I knew they'd be good, but damn they are amazing! And some of those "problem areas" I thought I'd want to hide turned out to be my favorite shots. I am so glad I didn't write this off because I still need to drop 15lbs, or I'm too old now, or any number of other reasons. It was a wonderful, confidence boosting experience. read more

I had so much fun here. I was nervous when I started but Jodi really put me at ease. I felt so much more comfortable that I thought I would, and these are probably the first pictures of myself that I've really loved in at least twenty years. I had a lot of fun, the makeup turned out fantastic and the photos will be something I treasure. Thanks, Ladies! read more

I've done two shoots with Le Boudoir Studio and absolutely loved both of them. The most recent shoot that I did was a pregnancy boudoir shoot and the pictures turned out better than I could have imagined. Jodi does a great job making you feel beautiful and confident and knows just how to get the right shot. She has plenty of options in her closet for you to wear and makes great suggestions. Her hair and makeup person, Tanya, also does a great job and is open to feedback. I wanted something changed with my makeup and she went with what I wanted and made me look amazing. If you are looking for a personalized, empowering, and professional boudoir shoot, look no further! Book with Jodi! read more

Jodi and her team took on my whole bachelorette party in 2013. We had an amazing day getting our hair and makeup done and pinup outfits on. She really has an eye for this because she posed everyone so perfectly and gave really easy direction. All my girls felt beautiful and sexy, exactly what I was hoping for. A few years ago one of my beautiful bridesmaids passed away suddenly. I reached out to Jodi to see if there was anyway she had any saved footage from our session years prior. Not only did she dig up some stunning pictures of my late friend, she sent me the files for free so I could gift her mother with a huge glamorous portrait of her daughter. She spent awhile looking for those files and it's really just a testament to her genuine spirit. She puts her heart and soul in her work and I'm forever grateful for business and for all she did for me. read more

Everything about Le Boudoir Studio was set up for you to have an experience. Not just a photoshoot. It was like taking a vacation from daily you (which is glorious enough) and setting you up to look and feel your best and capture that feeling in time. Jodi Lynn captures the sexy, flirty, fun, confident sides of you. It's brought out authentically with the process she has set up for her clients. The hair and make up artist was kind and well educated in makeup and the art of the face. They all were very understanding when I needed to reschedule and worked with me and my crazy planning. I would Recommend giving them a try. read more

If I could give 10 stars, I would. 100% the best photo session I have ever done! I am self conscious about certain parts of my body but, no matter what style I did, Jodi went above and beyond to make me feel confident and beautiful about my body and definitely made sure that my photos reflected how amazing I felt and showed off every feature of my body. I am so much more confident thanks to her and the photos she took of me. Jodi was beyond amazing and very professional. She made me feel amazing and gave me so many great suggestions for the positions and different outfits that I would not typically see myself doing! She went above and beyond to make me feel confident and amazing. My photos came out so great that I don't even have words to describe how great my overall experience was with Jodi. I will definitely be referring her to my friends and family, as well as zing back for maternity and family photos. So blessed to have found her. She works about an hour away from me but well worth the drive!!! Will recommend her to anyone who is interested and wants to have an outstanding experience and photos! Tanya was my makeup artist. I have been good with makeup but today, Tanya made me feel way better about my makeup. My photos turned out so much better having her so my makeup. My hair is about 18-20in long and she curled it flawlessly. Best experience I have had with a makeup artist. She asked me what I wanted but never did I expect it to Come out so great! I felt so beautiful and definitely highlighted my cheek bones and features on my face. So great and felt very welcome! read more

This was the most amazing experience for feeling like the hottest girl in the world. I really wanted to do this for my fiancé as a wedding gift but was super nervous going in. Jodi Lynn made me feel so relaxed and walked me through every step to bring out the best of me in every photo. The quality of the finished book is first class and every image has its own personality and seduction!! I can't wait to give it to my man the night before our wedding! Thank you read more

A little compassion goes a long way. Even if it doesn't mean anything to you, it could mean everything to them. Especially around the holiday's and being pregnant. I wish they would've considered my request (and put themselves in my shoes) and refunded me my deposit (even partially) especially since I gave them a month's notice to cancel.Their contract is a little deceiving or I would've never signed it, that was my mistake. It was the principle and the demeanor of the business that led me to this review. I can't say anything about the photo shoot itself because I didn't attend. read more

This was my first time doing a boudoir shoot, and I did it as a wedding gift to my husband. Jodi was AMAZING! She was so wonderful about accentuating what I and my husband love about my body, and being mindful of what I'm self conscious of. She is the biggest hype woman known to earth - I left feeling sexier and more beautiful than ever, plus my husband was in complete awe of my album. Jodi also helped me meet a very tight timeline. I highly recommend booking a session with her! read more

I treated myself to a photo session with Jodi in celebration of my 50th birthday. I found Jodi to be open, creative and intuitive. She captured my intent for the photos EXACTLY! The staff was very accommodating even to the point where they asked what kind of music I liked and they used Pandora to pipe in the music. The makeup session was fun and well done. I would suggest bringing your own outfit(s) for a optimal personal experience and cash only for the tip for the makeup artist. At the time I booked, tips could not be accepted on a card. I felt comfortable with the entire process and would recommend Jodi anytime. My daughter will be having her senior portraits done by Jodi in the near future. Completely satisfied customer. read more

Okay so I was not only stressed, it was next level stressed. I even took a shot of patron in the car at 10am stressed. BUT!!! I'm so glad I got the makeup option added as this allowed me acclimate and chill out. Jodi the photographer is so sweet and patient!! It is pricier than other places, but I also wanted to make sure the I images weren't trashy with a tasteful amount of sex appeal. I am very happy with the results and Jodi knows all the best poses and angles. read more

A must for do for all women! My session with Jodi was amazing! The studio is beautiful, I was pampered with hair and makeup and felt beautiful. I felt so comfortable and empowered throughout my time there. Jodi is so personable, we literally spent so much time just talking about life and experiences. She was so easy to talk to and so sweet. I had hoped to lose weight before my session, but Covid hit and let's just say losing weight was not gonna happen before my session. I was definitely worried about not being where I wanted to, but honestly, it didn't matter. My photos were GORGEOUS!! The way Jodi posed me, the angles that she used, I couldn't be more impressed. I am so excited to get my album. Prior to going to Jodi, I did a session with a company, while the session was fine, the experience was night and day! I have and will continue to recommend Jodi to others. It's an experience like no other! read more

Jodi is an AMAZING photographer! So super sweet and makes you feel completely at ease and relaxed during the entire photo shoot. She is extremely skilled in knowing all the best angles to show off all your best assets and even hide your less than stellar flaws. Additionally, Vanessa is fabulous with the hair and make-up in making you feel and look your absolute best before hand. Even the after viewing of the photos is a fun experience, and there are so many great shots it makes it difficult to narrow them all down! When I had a slight printing issue with the book i purchased, Jodi was SUPER apologetic and had the printing company rush me a new book, which I received 4 days later! Was such a great/fun experience, I very much look forward to doing it again one day! read more

I bought headshots, and they came out the best I've EVER had, and this is strictly due to the photography. Headshots are tricky. My deal was bought at Living Social/Group-on where I searched for "Headshots" specials. So this is a Boudoir speciality, but they do other photography. This woman Traci is an expert, who does the photography--placement and lighting. I got a good price for headshots, and excellent result and service. You can get the same deal by calling the company directly. I visited the Tempe location. Service was top notch, from scheduling and arrival thru the delivery of digital photo proofs, approval and then getting them. All on-time, all fast. I bought the headshots, then I paid for upgrade for make-up and hair. I could have done as well on my make-up, but they use a matt that is good for camera, and there was nothing wrong with it. The hair, the young college girl doing makeup and hair--my hair was terrible job they did, I combed it out. As an older woman, this college girl teased up my hair and puffed it out into a bouffant dated hair style--that I suppose younger generation think we want and like. We don't! Instructions for arrival for this hair styling was to come in clean dry hair. Thank goodness I have a good cut, that it combed out ok, and the photographer was so good, else this hairstyle would have been disastrous for my headshots and a waste of money (which is often the case). Photos often show up hair sticking out, and make your hair look flatter and closer to the face than it is. Still, this hairstyle was horrendous that I was given. But it worked fine when I combed it out. Do NOT pay for a hairstyle. You do not need to pay make-up either--but the make-up worked fine and my shots were good. My package got two outfits, but I wanted two pictures in my digital proofs. I wasn't charged extra for that but normally it's an extra fee. Having two choices gave me a better choice on headshots, assuming two is better than one (choice). They came out perfect. I got 13 shots in proofs and sent the two best ones to close friends for their choice. Use this company. She does an A++ job on photography, that is the key. She is also wonderful to work with, friendly, professional, and puts you at ease (important for your pictures). My smile never comes out--its a smirk, nor am I photogenic. The staff were all professional too, including the young woman doing my make-up and hair. I got excellent end to end experience from booking, to onsite visit, to post-delivery and very efficient. THANK YOU to this photography business. I will come back and will refer you. read more

I am truly blown away by the entire process...and to think that I put this off for 2 years! Every single interaction with any of the staff at Le Boudoir Studio was beyond my expectations. They are simply the best in what they do. Erica is a genius at hair and make up and super fun to talk to. I wish she could do my hair/make-up every morning for me. :) Jodi Lynn is so personable and easy to talk to and trust me, she will make you feel at ease and walk you through EXACTLY what you need to do to bring out the "best you". She truly is a one of a kind. I then reviewed my photos with Jackalyn and she was so kind and helpful in guiding me to pick just the right photos for the final book. This process was more than just getting dolled up and taking some 'glamour' shots, this for me was an act of self love and self acceptance.
