Are you tired of dealing with Used Car Salesman types? Wanna just get your deal done and not have…read moreto go back and forth on a price because you just KNOW a car has been marked up way above it's value? Do you have the desire to simply be treated like a human being and not a sale/commission? Try Nelson's. They aren't a normal car lot... and if you understand business and the costs associated with it all you'll get it once you see their offerings. We were able to get a reliable car for our teenage son at just the right price. It didn't need any mechanical work done, and when we took it to get new tires it was verified that the suspension and brakes were both in great shape (hard to check those otherwise). Bonus: the picture of the car online actually matched what the car looked like in person. No "from this angle you can't see the huge scratch down the side of the entire car" shots. What you see is what you get. When I followed up on the sole issue with the car (a windshield replacement that was included with the car purchase due to a chip in the one it came with) I received a prompt response including confirmation that the title and plate were sent - plus an ask for me to let him know that we received it. That's not something you'll EVER get from a big name dealership. I will absolutely come back to Cody and his team should I ever be in the market for another car. (That would be a brokering deal, which they also do!)

The car we had seen on Facebook was just in the process of getting washed. It was exactly as depicted on Facebook. There were no slimy sales techniques. Everything Cody did was professional. He knew a lot about the car, showed us the Car Fax report, was completely transparent about everything. We were shopping on a Saturday night and he delivered the car to us on Sunday with a full tank of gas. We will go back to Cody and Nelson's for future used cars. Cody is a class act and my son is thrilled with his Range Rover! Thanks Nelson's Auto Sales!

That's where I step into the picture because if you're willing to put $100 into detailing your car, before you sell it, it will look much more appealing. I didn't care if it was 20 yrs. old I had to prove myself and bust my ass, and try to convenience these owners that I have some special skills and know all the tricks and more. So I offered that same quality of service at half the current rate. I took a gamble, I.m glad to do it at half price because at the end of the day not only do I develop a good working relationship with the dealer, but also with each customer who drives off in a newly purchased vehicle. In all honesty, this dealer is kind and caring. The level of transparency is evident in how they treat their customers. I see how they are behind closed doors and this is the ONLY auto dealer I've ever met and worked for that doesn't try to sell you a pile of shit !!! If you want a halfway decent car and you want the entire history on the vehicle you're interested in or looking to buy, Give these guys 10 Minutes and they'll give you the truth and a hell of a deal.

But the overall experience of working with cars here is frustrating from beginning to end. Buying cars sucks. Selling cars sucks. Getting cars fixed sucks. A lot of customers already hate buying used vehicles because it feels like they constantly end up bringing them back for repairs, dealing with problems, or trying to return them. New cars are new cars, so there's not much to say there, but the service side is especially frustrating. Some of these problems exist throughout the car business, so I'm not putting everything on this particular dealership. What surprises me is seeing these kinds of issues within an organization that you would expect to have better systems, standards, and processes in place. There are some decent people here, including management, but the overall experience leaves a lot to be desired. There's plenty of room for improvement, especially when it comes to service, used vehicles, and the overall customer experience. Raise hell praise dale.

A shoutout to Marc in Finance as well. He explained the available options without any pressure. We passed on the extras to stay within the payment we wanted, and he completely respected that. Overall, a great experience. They earned my business and will absolutely have the opportunity to earn it again in the future.
