I was interested in a Ford Explorer Sport they had available. Sales person state they didn't have the tittle and it may take up to 30 days to get it ready for sale. They ran my credit and took my information, they said I will received a call once the y get the tittle. Fast forward they end up transferring and selling the car as soon they got the tittle and no call back. Called and asked about a car, informed them i had the approval and cash in hand of vehicle was good to go, was coming from Maricopa in rush hour traffic, nearly 2 hour drive. Arrive at the dealer at 630 only to be told by presumably the manager, "i can't do anything until tomorrow" followed by a chuckle like he thought it was funny. My 1 year old, my lady and myself wasted 4 hours of our day. As a returning customer trying to bring in a referral it was the worst experience I've ever had. Idk if they gave me the car for free at this point wasting my time, gas and then laughing in my face is the biggest insult to any customer ever. I would give this place (Surprise location) zero stars if I could. I left a review last week and it was removed. I beg anyone considering buying a car from here to run away as fast as you can. Enjoy this true account of my experience. Messaged the sales person for weeks to make sure the car was what I wanted (Bluetooth/Handsfree most important). I live 4 hours away from the dealer so, made sure to ask questions. Was told that it was equipped and ready for hands free and Bluetooth. After making the 4 hour drive to test drive it, found out it wasn't. Strike one. In the pics he sent me, I saw that the tire pressure warning light was on. I asked him to make sure it wasn't a sensors. Told me it just needed air. Light still in when I showed up. Strike two. Test drive went fine. Paperwork was easy. That's where the good experience ended. Drove up the road to put gas in it (I was told by the salesperson they don't supply gas. Nice impression made). After filling it up, saw the gas gauge only went to 1/2 a tank. Strike 3. Let the salesperson (Jesse) know. He didn't seem to care. Didn't ask me when they could look at it. 2 hours into my drive home, I stopped and put $30 of gas in it since I really didn't know how much was left since the gauge was broken. Gauge again went to 1/2 a tank. With 15 mins left before I got home, the car died!! Strike 4. I was able to get them to tow it back the next day. That was Thursday. On Monday at 4 (after not hearing a thing from them) I called Jesse to get an update. This would mark about the last time he would reply to me. He told me the car was sitting at the lot and would be towed to the repair shop in the morning on Monday! So, not only did he not bother calling me for an update but, why did the car sit there for a full day!? A week later, no communication. When I was able to get in touch with Jesse, he told me that I would be responsible for the tow if the car had run out of gas. Considering the gauge didn't work, how would I be responsible for that?! So unprofessional. Over the next week, I messaged and called Jesse multiple times trying to get an update. Never received a reply. Got my money. Then ignored me. Thankfully, I was able to get the number for the repair shop. Jesse told me he didn't have the GM's number as I asked to speak to him and not deal with a unresponsive salesman anymore. What kind of company allows its salespeople to tell customers they can't call the GM?!! Strike 5 It's been almost 3 weeks since the car was towed. I've had to walk to work but, at least I'm getting updates. Repair Mgr also had the GM contact me and, finally felt like I had someone who cares. Bad news, fuel pumps replaced and the car did not start. I have a business meeting out of town that I have no way of getting to without my car. You'd think I'd be offered a discount. Worst part, I told Jesse to rework my paperwork and speak to the finance company to delay my first payment. Guess who contacted me today to tell me my payment was late?! Strike 6. As of now, car won't start after 3 weeks. Being called for a payment. I still have to pay my insurance. Have a car without any Handsfree options, no backup camera, low tire pressure sensor needs to be replaced, I can go on. Positive is that the GM had approved the delivery of the car back to me. I'll see tomorrow if they can get it running. At this point I'd prefer to just be given the option of swopping out for a car better suited for me. And not lied to about what it's equipped with. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM CACTUS JACKS. read more

The two gentleman working could not have been less interested in selling me a car. UNTIL TWO MONTHS GO BY... and the Air conditioner was missing a "compressor" (total est. $420.00) and the "Reverse" didn't go in REVERSE.. WHICH IN HIGHLY DANGEROUS! (total est. $1250.00) I was making $480.00 a month for payments on a $12,000.00 --- 2005 Ford Explorer XLT. I asked for a week extension to make a late payment to at least get the AC fixed.. It was July in Phoenix, and the truck seats were hot!! Long story short, they repossessed the vehicle two days after i fixed the AC, wouldnt tell me that I could get it back even IF i made a payment... I know, I know, I know. I know what you're thinking: a "Buy here, pay here" auto dealership. There can't be anything positive to say about what they are peddling, right? Wrong. You're absolutely, 100% wrong. Our oldest was in desperate need of his own vehicle and as a direct result looked to Cactus Jack's as, well...really...a last resort in the auto buying market. Not because he had mixed emotions about the notion of it being a buy here, pay here, rather because he was unsure as to whether he would be able to get a conventional loan from another dealership with minimal to no credit. He did his research, found a couple of vehicles he somewhat liked, and after looking at them at their current location wasn't entirely sold on either of them. That said, he asked if we could go to the location on West Bell Road in Surprise. I willing drove him out there and we browsed the parking lot for a little while before we met up with their sales person. He asked the routine questions about price range, payments, etc. to get a better feel for where our son was financially. After viewing a couple of cars he showed our son he opted to introduce him to a vehicle that, for two hundred dollars more down, would do well for our son's purposes. No haggling, No nonsense. Just straight talk and our son was sold. Our son took it for a test drive and absolutely loved it. Thought it would be perfect for his needs and opted to spend the additional money to take the leap. An hour and a half later, he was driving off of the lot in a shiny 2009 Kia Rio. I would recommend this dealership to anyone who is struggling with financial restraints and finds difficulty in getting a traditional auto loan. Bought a car from Cactus Jack's and had a warranty. Our loan was bought out by another company but the warranty was still valid. My car broke down in another state and when I called to check on the warranty I was told the car wasn't even under my husband's and my name it was under a different name and we had already had the car for 9 months. I also let them know the loan was under a different company and was told my warranty was still valid. I was told to get my car fixed and they would find a way to reimburse me. Now here I am $2600.00 later on which I don't have and am being told that they will not honor my warranty. The salesman deceive you into thinking you can trade it in and upgrade in 2 yrs. And receive 3000 trade pn the car. Thats a lie. As for there finance department they dont know what customer service means. Totally un satisfied with there ehole business ethics. Your better of triing to save up 1500 dollars to pay for the same type of vehical. Because in the long run it will be less headaches. We were looking for an older but reliable vehicle for our son. We had looked at dealerships but we wanted to pay cash and most dealerships just don't carry older vehicles for a cash price with any type of warranty. We told the salesperson what we were looking for and the price range and he suggested 2 vehicles that fit our needs. The salesperson was pleasant to work with and we were able to get the vehicle out the door for the price we needed and the paperwork process was very quick. Within the 15 day warranty period we did have an issue with the vehicle. However, we contacted the dealership and worked with Patrick. He was very helpful and the problem was corrected in an acceptable amount of time. He returned calls quickly and worked with us to resolve the issue. Overall, we have been very pleased with the purchase. Customer service is incredibly important; especially when issues arise. This business met all of our expectations. read more
