Last week, I came for a 20k mile maintenance for my 2024 transit van 350. I paid $175 for a package that included oil change, tire rotation, tire pressure check, and fluid top off. This was a week ago. Today, I looked at my Ford app and saw that my tire pressure, which has been wrong for months since I last put air in it myself, is the exact same, 66 psi in the front and 77 psi in the rear. It should be 57 psi in the front, 75 psi in the rear, telling me they DID NOT rotate my tires OR check the pressure. My oil change still shows at 4% so now I'm questioning if they even did my oil change? This place is something else. DO NOT come here for service. read more

I traveled from California to purchase an approximately $80,000 SUV and was specifically assured by Juan in Finance and Camryn F. in Sales that the dealership would handle all registration requirements. I was informed that I would receive a 90-day registration permit, that all applicable taxes and registration fees would be collected as part of the transaction, and that the dealership would process the registration on my behalf. In addition, I was promised a front license plate bracket as part of the purchase. However, when I later took the vehicle to a dealership in California to have the bracket installed, I was informed that the bracket provided was an old, used Mercedes-Benz bracket and was not appropriate for my vehicle. When I contacted Surprise Ford to address both the registration issue and the license plate bracket issue, my concerns were dismissed. Rather than assisting in resolving the problems, I was effectively told that these issues were my responsibility and that the representations previously made to me had not occurred. As a business owner myself, I rarely leave negative reviews because I understand the impact they can have on a company. However, I believe prospective customers deserve to know about my experience. Based on my interactions, I found the dealership's communication to be inconsistent and the level of customer service after the sale to be unacceptable. I called to confirm the vehicle was still there, and when I was 30 minutes away they sent me a picture of the vehicle and said they had "pulled it up so it would be ready for me." I arrived at the dealership and was made to wait about 45 minutes for them to come up and tell me they had sold the vehicle to someone else in the 30 minute window between the photograph they sent me and my arrival. I understand their primary concern is to move vehicles off the lot, but it only takes about 45 seconds to call and inform a potential customer that they had already begun paperwork to sell the vehicle to someone else. They then proceeded to try and sell me on vehicles I stated I did not want. And called multiple times a day, after I specifically told them "I do not want to do business with you." Twice now I have paid for oil changes at this dealership that were not performed. Both times, I marked my oil filter beforehand, and both times the same marked, dirty filter was still installed when I inspected my truck. The oil on the dipstick was also clearly not fresh. When confronted, staff questioned my integrity instead of acknowledging the failure. No refund was offered. This is not a one-time mistake, it is a pattern of shady service practices. Based on all the other 1 star Google reviews, I fully expect a generic response from the dealership telling ME to contact the Service Director, Anoeil Atenousazar rather than anyone taking ownership and contacting me directly. I have never used YELP, so obviously I have a significant complaint. I decided to give this dealership a shot after researching Ford Broncos at various dealers. I had test driven one at a car show Memorial Day weekend. 31 days later and I am still waiting on my wheel locks and a medical reimbursement check. I will accept not getting these in order to post my review. I was driving to the dealer after making an appointment to purchase a specific black Bronco. I received a call from them assuring I was on my way and I confirmed. I was told about the employee pricing and offered 43000 dollars for my trade. Upon arrival, I was informed they had sold my vehicle during my drive to the dealership. I was asked if I would like to look at another color/model. I agreed and they brought out a green one. I liked the vehicle and we started talking numbers. Right from the start they changed my trade value to 40000 and added 4000 in dealer options such as Lo-jack, wheel locks, tint and a lot more garbage. Additionally, the vehicle was 3000 dollars more expensive. After painfully going back and forth with four different people, I got the initial deal, SEVEN hours later. They offered no break on the price for the inconvenience. I was exhausted and ready to drive home. On my way home, I turned on the windshield wipers to remove bugs and there was no washer fluid. I got up early the next morning to fill the reservoir and the fluid leaked onto the pavement. I called on a Sunday and no management was on site. I called back Monday and was told if I brought it back, they would do the repair. I insisted that they come to Tucson and they finally agreed. In the interim, I received an email from a sales manager name Pesh. I responded and received no further communication. When the mobile team arrived, I was informed it could not be fixed due to a massive rat infestation. They gave me 8 pictures, of which 2 are posted. When contacting the dealer Nick offered to send me a rental and attempt to repair the extensive damage. He was totally unaware of the rat damage. I realized in hindsight that they did not perform a presale detailed inspection. I wanted a fair and quick resolution and was told similar versions were in transit. I drove the vehicle and developed a respiratory infection from breathing in the rat feces. I had searched both Suprise Ford and Peoria Ford sites for a green Bronco and all that was there was a Badlands, which they totally dismissed. Suprise finally found a black one from either their partner or another dealership. Nick informed me it was a slight upgrade due to a towing package, which I really don't need. However, it does not have the Ambient lighting. I wanted to get in and out and they were quick. The only thing said to me was please give them a good survey conveying they remedied the issue. It was now obvious that a good review was more important than customer satisfaction. I humbled myself and sent in a good review. I got home and realized they forgot the wheel lock. I called any promised to order them and mail them ASAP. I called to check on their status, I was told they were sent to the wrong address. It has been 19 days. I do not want a form apology from them or any further communication. I am willing to order my own wheel locks and dismiss the 80 dollar copay check and move on. From the start they should have given me the Badlands or a vehicle within a few thousand dollars of my purchase price. and sent me home feeling positive. Instead, I have absolutely nothing positive that came from this ordeal. I have bought many new cars and this was by far the worst experience of my life. After reviewing the number of negative reviews for Suprise Ford, I should have checked their reviews prior to my visit, I intend to communicate this to BBB and Google Business reviews, along with any other available entities. Still in complete shock how terrible this situation was and how they don't care to even call me back. Original post- We were loyal customers... and the minute our warranty expired, suddenly everything was an issue. The final straw was when my truck wouldn't start (presenting what I thought was dead battery). I took it in and explained what happened, even mentioned it may be the battery. They kept my truck for 3 days and then sent me an invoice for $12,000. I called to inquire and they said they "think" it's the wiring harness and that the entire truck would need to be re-wired. I decided to get a second opinion because of a few other recent visits that didn't sit right with me. Got in my truck and they had left an offer to purchase (they had done this to me a few times). Took the truck to Rodeo Ford for a second opinion and their diagnostic showed A FAILED BATTERY. I had changed the batteries 2 years ago at Surprise Ford so they were still under warranty. Luckily I was able to find the receipt because when I called Surprise Ford to ask them for it, they said they would email and never did... twice. I waited 4 MONTHS to write this review because I wanted to make sure the battery fixed the problem and it's been running great! I've also reached out to Surprise Ford Service Manager and anyone who would answer the phone... "they will give you a call" is all I hear but they never do. I'm still waiting for those calls. He said someone was currently looking at the car and would get back to me. No one did so I messaged through your website yesterday evening. Willie then called me to say the car was sent to auction and no longer available. I get up this morning and see the car is still available on your site . The price however was raised by $5,500 to $55,000. I am a 61 year old married man that has bought many cars in my life for my family and have the means to purchase the Yukon easily either through cash or payment, whatever it would take to get the deal done. Nothing I could say would improve this dealership, two stars is an exaggeration of how they rate. I went through the Costco automobile purchase program and got a small reduction on the MSRP of a F-150 in which they notified Surprise Ford I was interested in ordering . The General Manager sent me an AI generated reply telling me to contact him if I needed help with a purchase. I went in on Friday with my checkbook to make the purchase and asked for the GM or a sales manager. The sales manager finally came out to speak with me only to immediately blow me off and say the salesman could write my order. The salesman looked up the truck and I told him I had Costco pricing. He left his desk for a couple of minutes and returned to inform me that "management" said if I ordered the truck i would have to pay MSRP since it was a popular model and they couldn't keep it on the lot and they charge more than MSRP when they do, so they wouldn't honor the Costco pricing. I walked out and contacted two other dealers, they have no problem honoring the Costco price. So I think they refer to that as a systemic problem of top down bad management. Now I'm going to get another BS letter stating about that's not how they do business and they are totally professional and wish to discuss this matter to make it right. This place is a joke and I would be surprised if the Attorney General doesn't have a file on them. I'll contact Costco's customer service and let them know of their practices. I'll start with the good, the sales department is actually great. The sales department was professional and they worked with me to make a fair deal. However, the reason I would never recommend this dealership is the finance department. I secured my own financing before even entering the dealership. This is something I've done many times before with no issues it actually made the process much faster and easier every other time. The finance department called me no less than three times the day of the deal in order to confirm information to have papers ready for me to sign when I walked in. Upon my arrival, they had nothing ready and made me wait for an additional two hours with my newborn, then had the nerve to say "smile" how condescending, you would never say that to a man. The finance director called me 3 weeks after purchase and threatened me with legal action because they failed to endorse the check on their end so it bounced, which they can easily fix by simply signing the proper area of the check. As soon as I got my husband involved, they stopped returning my calls, STEVE specifically. Just avoid this dealership altogether, especially as a woman. read more

I had a deeply disappointing experience at this dealership while trying to buy a 2025 Ford F-150 Raptor. After discussions that made me believe my deal was secure, they sold the truck I wanted out from under me without warning. The service here has deteriorated since 2019. I recently had a recall performed on the rear tow links and my wife drove the car to LA and back. In that little mileage the rear tires were completely worn. The tech obviously did not torque to the 111lb spec after setting alignment. I understand that happens, but the sales professional (Xavier Rodriguez) should have been a professional and called me to let me know, instead of making me drive 30 minutes for no reason. Not at all customer oriented and they are less than ethical. With an appointment and the foreknowledge I would be waiting, they took 2 hours to change my oil and rotate the tires. They charged me for an unasked for oil additive not recommended by Ford. They also charged me for a bio treatment that amounts to a cleaner for the steering wheel. The waiting room was playing rap music to a customer base at least 75% of which were over 65. Free coffee, but you have to pay for anything else. If you want to pay with a credit card, they charge you an additional 3%. 3% and consider they are also charging for services you didn't request. If you can, I would look elsewhere for Ford service. read more

Making the customer feel like an idiot because they don't want to add additional products added to their loan is a terrible way to do business. Very shady dealership. Be careful dealing with this dealership. On August 8, 2018, I bought what I thought was a new Escape. I did not test drive it because I had driven a rental Escape and new this was what I wanted. After all paperwork was done and a few days later I glanced at the odometer and it had 3,800 miles in it. I bought an 84 month ir 75,000 mile extended warranty at the time of purchase. I had an oil leak and took it in June 24, 2025. The shop called the extended wsrrany company and was told my warranty ran out in February. I call the warrany company and they told me the warranty began when the car was put in service in February 2018. I did not buy the car until August. So, the cost of the repair had to be paid by me. I would never again consider buying from this dealership. I am surprised that Ford Motor Company allows this dealership to represent Ford. read more

Our Service Provider, Evan Welle, is excellent! My husband had made an appointment. When we pulled up to drop off the vehicle there was a line. He walked up to the vehicle, greeted me by name (shocked me) and took the car from there. They fixed the problem but found other items. Picking up today and it's all ready to go and washed. Here I am writing another review about surprise ford. I thought maybe the two years it took for me to return would've changed something's but it didn't. I was looking at a bronco that online said it was in transit. DAN, told me the vehicle was there and that because of the holiday it wouldn't get addressed until Tuesday. No biggie. We set up an appointment for Tuesday night at 6, get there and DAN is on the phone, says give me your keys so I can take a picture of the odm, I ask is the car here he said yes I think BEN is bringing it around back. BEN was doing no such thing, as the car was still in transit. Second issue I have is the car was not even there yet but they included their 4000$ dealer installed options, when I asked why they said well we have to make our money, well that's not my issue. You are making the money on the price of the vehicle, along with my trade in. There are plenty of other dealers that are selling cars with no mark ups and no add ons. It's not my job to worry about you making money. It's my job to get me the best price I can for the vehicle I'll be driving. I'm not really shocked that the dealer is still at a 2 star. If you look at my previous review, they gave my personal phone number and told the individual who purchased my trade in it was okay to contact me about parts I still had, and then they denied it when I contacted them. Their GM refused to take my calls and they had a ford corporate complaint filed against them as well as a BBB complaint filed against them. I was hoping that they would see these flaws and try to fix them but that ship must not be pulling back into port. I would rather take less money from a different dealership than spend another second my time dealing with surprise ford. My favorite moment from last nights interaction was when they wanted me to sign the sheet of paper, stating I'd buy it at this price, threw a fit when I wouldn't sign it, and said it's the commitment. My commitment was being there on a Tuesday night at 730pm, not at home enjoying my evening. Someone called this morning offering me 6k more for my trade in trying to get the deal done. I purchased a vehicle from Surprise Ford... I drove 2 hours to get to this dealership. ​I went specifically for the car I purchased. I knew what the bottom dollar payment would be before I made that drive. They gave me a decent trade-in value for my car to help me get into the car that I wanted. When I had doubts purchasing this car the salesman guilted us. As he pulled this car from another lot another dealer to show me. There was a trim piece missing from the roof. They said it happened at the car wash and there were chips in the windshield. I went through with the purchase, Knowing that they would be replacing the trim that was missing and I asked them to replace the windshield. Final Update: Was given the run around and asked to speak to the manager at Surprise Ford and left multiple messages. Jaime retuned my call and I let her know I was waiting for the above parties to get back to me. The manager didn't end up returning my calls which is a shame because we should not have been talked to or treated this way. Determined to find someone that can help me with this decision. read more
