It's a weird place that asks for your ID as you walk in the door. That is pretty off putting as you are shopping around and just walked in the door. Our salesman was nice enough but did not know the products. We came in looking for a particular trailer they had advertised and he wanted to sit down and do the salesman bologna. They are into hard sales tactics and I did not enjoy my shopping experience there. We ended up going and buying one somewhere else that my wife did not like as much due to an easier more relaxed customer experience. We were free to wonder around and had a sales person that could answer questions when we had them otherwise they were not in our face. Would not recommend and it's unfortunate because it is a nice facility located 10 minutes away verses the hour across town I drive to buy a travel trailer. read more

They need to train the personnel the right way. They don't know how to answer the phone and when they do they don't return phone calls. Our motorhome was at the service center for 3 1/2 months. They sent us out with a dead battery. What jerks. Please don't buy anything from them. read more

If I could do a 0 star I would. I cannot say this enough, and we should've known from the reviews. Do not buy a trailer from CAMPINGWORLD or use for any repairs. Unfortunately, our prior RV company got bought out by them (orangewood RV). Not only did they not check if our warranty prior to "doing an inspection", they charged us over $500 for labor and only fixed one little thing - that wasn't even what we brought it in for. Horrible communication, horrible service, and we showed up to pick it up today and had an extra $300 on top of our bill. Avoid at all costs!!!! read more

I have purchased 5 RV Trailers over the years. I went with my son and daughter in law to purchase their first trailer to start traveling with their son and make memories of a lifetime. They did their research and found a trailer that they could afford and meet their needs. They were so excited and ready to experience their first RV. The trailer is perfect for their family. The Dealer and Staff were the worst bunch of used car salesmen except one salesman, the sales manager and finance manager were the worst I have ever dealt with. The Dealer treated them fantastic while they were looking at units, but that all changed when they said they wanted to think about it over night and come back. It then turned to we are done with you get out, the salesman walked away without saying a word. Basically get the Hell out of here. The kids went back the next day to check RV out again and decide what they wanted to do. The new salesman was polite and was nice to them. That went well and they pick the trailer of their dreams, then they had to speak with finance people. The kids already had been pre qualified and approved by his Credit Union. The Dealer Finance Dept people were insisting they use Camping Worlds financing and blew smoke and lies that they needed to use there financing because of protocols and when they told them they wanted to use his Credit Union they became complete assholes. After saying they were not going to use Camping Worlds financing they basically didn't want to be helpful in their first RV purchase. The Sales Manager and Finance guy when they went to sign sales paperwork just handed them a pile of papers and said sign were x and highlighted areas are, no sit down and explain or try to help just sign and get out basically. They really wanted the RV they picked and the price was a good deal on a new RV, but the experience was a complete disappointment and will stay with them forever. This Dealer needs to get their stuff together and treat a customer with polite courtesy. As a family we will never deal with Camping Worlds in the future! I'd advice anyone to stay away and find a different Dealer to spend your money with. I've dealt with Camping Worlds before and they were very good then but nothing as bad as this. DO NOT RECOMMEND. GO ELSEWHER. Their customer support and service department are awful. My service rep was Tracey. I brought my 2020 Forrester in for additional awning repair due to a collision, at the recommendation of Geico on 21 July 2025. The good news was that they managed to find some broken wires that Unlimited Collision was unable to find and the awning would move in and out without blowing a fuse. (Unlimited Collision is terrible but that is a separate review). Only took Three weeks.... AND I had to test whether the speakers worked. The bad news is that my right awning speaker did not work after their "fix". I was told that the replacement would cost over $900 plus labor and that "I" should contact GEICO for approval! I was stunned and asked them why "they" shouldn't contact Geico and then was told my service would have to go through their Insurance office (right in the same building mind you!). After waiting and numerous calls, I finally removed my RV in September 2025. No part, no progress, no I'm sorry, Nothing! Being fed up, I finally told Geico I would have it fixed myself. Did some research on the speaker by contacting Lippert awnings and was told the entire speaker assembly would cost whooping $57.27. I personally removed the speaker housing by removing a total of six Phillips head screw. Took a total of 10 minutes and I'm over 70...... The bottom line is that if you want to get POOR SERVICE, OUTRAGEOUS PRICES AND LACK OF CUSTOMER SUPPORT, then Camping World Surprise AZ is the place for you. PS: When you call their main number, sometimes it will ring forever and no one picks up, not even a voicemail. Extremely poor service. read more

Buyer beware! Please read Camping World reviews along with the BBB reviews before buying from this business. I can't believe the AZ Attorney's Office hasn't shut them down. If you buy from them, you more than likely will regret your decision. They had my new rig in their shop for 7 months. Placed several calls to the service desk asking for updates and they failed to return my messages. I even asked for a manager to call me. My rig came back to me after sitting in their Surprise AZ lot with new broken components. Purchased the extended warranty which is a joke. Other issues dealing with them, too many to mention. Do not even walk in the door at any camping world!!! Run!! And Run fast. The customer service is non existent period. I bought an 80,000$ lemon. I also bought the fantastic warranty that literally covers nothing!!! I have had my RV for 3 years without a working fridge. They replaced all of the parts they could think of before finally replacing the entire fridge. Still does not work!!! And NOBODY can ever help. Just bring it in for another 6 months while nothing gets done. And when you finally get it back it still wont work!! Worst company ever!!! All of the way around!! Every location. Horrible service, they are great to sell you a rig that's over $100,000 but when it comes to repairing a rig that has an extended warranty, good luck to you their service is terrible. It will take months to get something repaired. Do your research before you go to the dealership. read more

I personally do not recommend buying from camping world. We purchased a 2025 Forest River Campsite Ultra. Sales person was great, very knowledgeable and attentive until... the deal was over. Once we signed the paperwork it's like the sales team couldn't care less. During inspection of the trailer a black tank flush valve had been broken off. I was told that they would contact the manufacturer to order the part (3/24). It is now 5/10 and no one could provide me information on when the part will come in. I have asked numerous times over the past 2 months and still have not received a status of the part. I have called service numerous times and have been sent to voicemail every time. Proceed to leave voicemails and never receive a call back. When I ask the sales guy for the status it's always the same answer "will look into it and give you a call tomorrow". Only status I received was that the part was "approved". Still waiting for a proper update as of today. I also am still waiting for plates. Purchased 3/24 and received a 45 day temporary plate that has now expired. I have tried to contact the facility regarding the plates and have been transferred and sent to voicemail with no response. I contacted our sales guy and told him we have not received our plates and our temporary plates are expired. Sales guy proceeds to explain plates come within 30 days of purchase and my temporary plate is good for 45 days... which is not helpful at all because we never received the plates and our temporary plate is expired. Sales guy then said he would take a look into it and I still have not heard back. I have contacted the DMV who stated they have not received any information regarding registration on my trailer. My finance company has been emailing me requesting to be listed as a lien holder which should have been done at time of purchase. I have been unable to add them as DOT has not received the required info from camping world. read more

On January 11, 2026, my girlfriend, our newborn child, my service animal (Gandalf), and I drove specifically to the Camping World dealership in Surprise, AZ (located at 12630 North Autoshow Avenue, Surprise, AZ 85388), in search of a new way of living through the purchase of an RV. My service animal was leashed, under full control, and well-behaved at all times. Initially, the staff (including salesperson Cam) were very friendly and fond of both my service animal and my newborn child, offering positive comments and reinforcement that everything seemed fine. We then walked a good distance across the lot before being informed that I would not be allowed to enter or view the RV with my service animal present. I understand that Title III of the ADA requires places of public accommodation, such as retail dealerships, to permit service animals in all areas open to customers, with very limited exceptions that did not apply in this cares. A report was filed with the justice department. read more
