This place is absolutely lovely - a hidden gem in an office park! Had a late lunch/early dinner here yesterday to celebrate a friend's birthday. I mentioned the bday in my online reservation and they had a sweet little card for her plus complimentary half glasses of champagne for us. We shared the hummus, parker rolls, carrot Burrata salad, spinach and artichoke risotto, and butter cake from their Spring Menu. Everything tasted AMAZING! And the portions were generous - we had a whole bag of leftovers to take home. I love their seasonal menu concept but I really hope at least some of the items we got stay constant on the menu because I want to get them again soon! The ambiance is modern and upscale. We ate inside because it was a little chilly but they do have a nice patio with heat lamps I want to try the next time I go because there will definitely be a next time!! There's a large parking structure for the office complex and the restaurant is right next to it so you don't have to walk far, plus they validate. Very pleasant atmosphere, great service. It was my birthday so I was received with a lovely card and a glass of champagne, for both me and my husband, which was unexpected and very nice. About my meal, I had a Tuna Tartar as an appetizer and it had some cooked carrots mixed to it that felt to me that it was to give some volume to the meal since they had the same color. I would have liked to have only the Tuna, anyway. My Entrée was a Halibut Bouillabaisse, that had the most tender muscles that I've ever had ((even though it wasn't written on the description that it had muscles in it (I never order them) and the Bouillabaisse was actually overpowering the meal with a tomato sauce that didn't have any taste of the seafood. The Halibut was good. I would go back because of the service but not because of the meal, unfortunately. read more

It's our new favorite restaurant - we've been there 3 times and introduced two sets of friends to this place. The cocktails and food is on point. One star removed because it is way too hot to sit in the sun outside during lunch/brunch because there is minimal shade. We made reservations one month in advance so it wasn't a last minute thing either and no one gave us a choice at the time of booking. Our waiter made it sound like it was a known issue so it's disappointing that no body gave us a heads up and offered indoor vs outdoor even though they called us twice about this reservation. FYI the temperature was also low 70s but the outdoor patio is positioned in a way that gets super sunny and toasty and it's not covered. Nonetheless the food, drinks, and ambiance all worth it unless the only option is outdoors during heat of day - I would avoid. read more

Finally got sat. Tried to order drinks. The waiter made fun of our drink order because it wasn't a fancy whiskey cocktail from their menu. Finally got our drinks and ordered apps. Waiter didn't come back to check on us. Apps came. Still no waiter. Finally he came back to take our dinner order even though our drinks had been empty for a while. Got new drinks. Waited a long time for dinner to arrive. Eventually dinner showed up. Food was medicine at best. Drinks empty again. Waited never showed up to check on the food or offer new drinks. Paid and left. Had an amazing time here with my family last night celebrating my mom's birthday. The service was outstanding (shoutout to Conner and Tyler!), the food was delicious (my favorites were the salmon crudo, the bolognese - all the pasta is made in house!, and the apricot jam on the Parker house rolls), and it was a great modern ambiance with good vibes. Would come here again! Appetizer portions are normal but dinner portions are BIG! Food was tasty enough that coming back for dinner wasn't off the table. However, dinner was underwhelming. Service - regarding the hostess....no reservations were made. And if you don't have reservations, don't get pushed to the bar. Jump online and make a quick reservation, walk back and check in. Please don't ask me why but I went through this and was extremely put off. If there are a closed number of reservations then I could understand, the fact that there were plenty of open tables and reservation slots tells me otherwise. Something to be addressed by management. Ambiance - beautiful and spacious, large windows, clean lines, modern aesthetics with a very farm to table presentation. Wait staff situation was a little weird: at times it felt like everyone was our server and at others, that no one was. Prices were reasonable. Waiter took our parking ticket to get it validated and never brought it back. Gave us another thing that ended up not working, so we had to pay the $24 lost ticket fee. Drinks were the best thing about this place. Perfectly balanced and almost too easy to drink. Food taste was mixed with some things being ok while others were delicious. Tuna had too much acid - also, a personal preference but I enjoy larger pieces instead of a fine dice. Bird's Nest was beautiful but wasn't seasoned quite right. Short rib was delivered with a cloche of smoke which was a nice touch. It was probably the best thing of the evening but the roasted cauliflower was a close second. The sauces served with the ricotta coffee donuts were better than the actual donuts (on the dry side). Overall, a good experience but not knock your socks off. read more

Solstice is at the bottom floor of The Boardwalk, a modern glass office building off Jamboree, where I used to have an office space pre-pandemic. Too bad they weren't open when I had an office there. I sure wish they were as this modern high ceiling American-fare eatery is a great place to have a date night or meetings with colleagues. Seasonal menu items and drinks are their specialty along with friendly service. As like any restaurant there are hits and misses - most notably I had high hopes for their Parker house rolls that were a miss - the milk rolls at BlueGold kill these as they didn't come out hot and were on the dry side. However they have some good hits - Braised Wagyu Pappardelle and their Malbec short ribs immediately come to mind. And for dessert their seasonal butter cakes are not to be missed. Last time I went they had peach and now for Fall, it's apple. I think I had a berry one when they first opened and that one was really good too. Service is friendly and prompt - I like the little touches they have like having a piece of thyme placed at your table on top of the menu or asking if you'd like still or sparkling water to start your dining experience. Solstice is a great addition to this area and don't sleep on their brunch either as their filet & eggs or "make your own" omelette were just spot on. read more

The restaurant has a clean and minimalistic ambiance but you just get the sense that the interior and the menu were created for company-sponsored lunches and dinners. Came in with a work colleague today at 3pm. It was our first time and we were excited to try the restaurant out. When we came in, the restaurant was empty with only a few customers. The hostess asked if we had a reservation, and when said no, she said none of the tables were available and we could only sit at the bar. We sat at the bar and the bartender gave us menus, but then disappeared for 15-20 minutes. We looked around and a customer who had been seated at the bar shortly after us already had a drink. We waited another 5 minutes to be served, but then started to get a bad vibe over the lack of service as there was literally no one at the bar. As we got up to leave, the manager walked by and asked how everything was. We said unfortunately we were never served and explained the situation. The manger was nice and asked if there was anything he could do, but at that point it was really awkward. As we were talking to the manager, the bartender came up and said, "see you later, hope you have a good day." The manager couldn't believe it because clearly the bartender could care less that we had not been served. As a side note we drove 1/2 mile down the street to Houston's and had awesome food and service as always. read more

My friend and I went there for lunch one day and it was packed and lively - Mostly corporate/business workers doing a two martini lunch meeting. We sat at the bar and the bartender (Jimmy from New York) and waiters were extremely personable, knowledgeable and very friendly. The food and drinks were top notch. I had the pork belly sandwich which was mind blowing. My friend had one of the salads which was massive. The next day, I went there for dinner because I liked the place so much. They have a whiskey drink number 2 that actually has gold dust in it and looks bougie. The current apricot spread bread for appetizer was awesome. Their steaks are sous vide which I had the filet - It was amazing! Also had the pasta, roasted cauliflower, and fries. All of which are great. Decor/environment: Has an open space area feel with unique architecture and a feeling of clean elegant bougie-ness. Love the aesthetics Vibe: Has a clean posh modern feel. When I went, the place was reasonably crowded for lunch and dinner. Service: The waiters and bartenders were all friendly, knowledgeable and helped answer any questions. My waiter was Daniel - someone should give him a raise. Food: As mentioned earlier, the food was awesome. Not one negative comment to write. From the first moment we walked in the two ladies in front were very welcoming and so kind. First impressions mean a lot and I truly believe it's where the experience truly starts. I have a surgical boot on and they made sure to make me very comfortable as did everyone else on staff. Little did I know it didn't stop there, they also gave me a signed (by all the staff) birthday card and the most delicious chocolate mousse dessert topped with coffee crumble, fresh nectarines and apricot purée. The food is fresh and seasonal based on the solstice hence the name of the restaurant. We enjoyed a starter of summer squash hummus with crudités, a wedge salad with bacon jam asked for the fermented garlic dressing instead of the traditional blue cheese dressing just to try it for a different twist, and for the main course zucchini spaghetti pesto with white beans. The food here is fresh, seasonal, healthy and presented beautifully. I wanted to try everything on the menu. Each bite was an explosion of flavor where you couldn't wait to try what's next.
