I was looking for a relaxing mani and pedi and boy was I in for a treat! There was relaxing Christmas music with tv screen displaying the most beautiful sites located in Greece. Julia quickly invited me to sit in the comfortable chair and showed me the menu. I selected the pedicure package 2 that consisted of callus removal, sea salt, fresh orange and a 5 minute massage with hot stones. There are so many options to choose from. Honestly, Julia was so good,really scrubbed and treated my feet like royalty. As for my mani, Ivy was super fast and did a wonderful job. Even though this place does amazing pedicures I wasn't pleased with my nail experience. I originally asked for a clear acrylic to have a see through effect with chrome French but had to settle for a natural almond shape nails. Don't get me wrong staff was great to express they didn't have the material to provide what I was asking for but I would've settled with a gel silver French tip. I recommend if you only want a solid color this is your place for nails but if you're looking for something particular make sure to communicate before you get towards the end and start reconsidering a second nail look. The service jumping from pedicure to manicurist does have a waiting time to be serviced but they do provide you a drink as you wait. I will definitely continue to get pedicures here. read more

I normally don't leave bad reviews, but after multiple negative experiences, I won't be returning. The first issue happened in April 2026. I came in for a basic pedicure, but I felt pressured to upgrade to one of the more expensive options. After I declined, I was seated, and the water in the pedicure chair was so hot that I couldn't even put my feet in it. Instead of helping me or adjusting the water, the employee walked away to sweep and mop the salon. I sat there for about five minutes without anyone checking on me, so I ended up leaving without receiving any service. Today, July 3, 2026, I brought my niece in just to have her nails painted. She had barely sat down, and no one had even started painting her nails before they were already asking me to pay. When I politely told the owner that no service had been provided yet, she rolled her eyes at me. That response was unprofessional and disrespectful. Based on my experiences, I felt unwelcome and treated differently than I expected as a paying customer. The repeated pressure to spend more money, the lack of customer service, and the owner's attitude have convinced me not to return. I cannot recommend this salon. read more

I am filing a formal complaint against Solar Nails regarding a serious injury I sustained during a service on 11/12/25. I visited the salon to receive a pedicure and a full set. During my pedicure, the technician--identified as "Bob"--began removing calluses from my feet using a cheese grater-style tool. Initially, this was not an issue, but he continued using the tool while distracted and looking away. As a result, he sliced the entire side of my big toe, removing a significant portion of skin. The wound bled heavily for over 20 minutes. Despite this, the technician attempted to have me place my injured toe back into the same pedicure water, which was clearly contaminated. I refused due to the risk of infection. The staff then applied multiple bandages, which had to be replaced several times because I continued to bleed through them. Without my consent, they later applied liquid bandage to the open wound, causing extreme pain. Following the incident, they attempted to offer a free pedicure as compensation, seemingly to discourage me from filing a complaint. This experience was traumatic and completely unacceptable. The staff demonstrated a lack of proper training and basic hygiene protocols, resulting in a severe and preventable injury. read more

The first red flag was how rough the tech was with my nails, they are literally bleeding after they were finished. I feel him cut into my nail bed but I ignore it because maybe it's just the pressure of my acrylics being taken off. Finally the nail comes off and my real nail is cut in half through the nail bed because he sliced it. Then he proceeds to use the cuticle cutter to cut my nail even more making it extremely sensitive!!! He tried charging me full price ($20) after ruining my nails. The gentleman that did my pedicure did fine. Although I had requested for a gel full set that gentleman that did, did not know what he was doing. Before he even applied acrylic I specified I wanted almond shape nail and they are all round. Also two of the nails are crooked and he said once I apply acrylic and shape them it will be fixed and even after I mentioned it was crooked and he said it's your finger that is doing that. I did say I have had nails before and never had this problem. He made the acrylic to watery and kept caking it on. The bottom of nails had thick layers that he had to drill it away after it was done. And i requested French tip with one thick line and then a smaller line below and he said I don't think I can do that but I can try. But at the end he didn't do it because he couldn't do it.
