I appreciate Jennifer getting me in same day I contacted her and after 5PM. Her spa is located in a building off of 17th street and Chester. Thank goodness for Google to help me know where to go. Parking can be a hassle, I had to circle around the building for a spot and since I came after 5PM the building doors were locked. I had to wait for someone to let me in. A Lashme Waxme sign should be on the door or in the lobby to direct costumers. The spa is on the 2nd floor and even that door leading to the elevator and stairs was locked, again i had to wait for someone to let me in. These someones were tenants maybe? Once inside with Jennifer she was so pleasant and friendly. She made me feel very comfortable during my eye lash tint and lift! Yes I will definitely be returning! read more

Let me start off by saying that I do have a regular eyebrow waxing place that I go to already. (Parlor wax) However, they're closed on Sundays and Mondays, And because of my husband's rotating work schedule, my only open slot for getting my eyebrows waxed was on a Monday, so I had to find a temporary substitute. I first called another place (sweet cheeks waxing I believe) And I guess they are not waxing eyebrows At the moment from what I was told??? So weird... So I come across lash me wax me, Great reviews on Yelp overall, minus a couple, Even great reviews on Google too! So I just went with it. First time visits for me are always a little nerve-wracking because if they wax too much off you just stuck with it until it grows back lol. So I called and scheduled my appointment with Jennifer, She sounded and seemed like a very nice lady. And I appreciated that she asked me what time would work for me, versus them telling you what time slots they have open. ... Place was easy to find, the building itself is a bunch of Lil old business suits put together, looked like old doctors offices, and most of the suits looked abandoned lol. Walked in the front door, to a little waiting room area, with a little front desk, no one came out to greet me. There was another lady in the waiting room on the phone talking so loudly lol. I patiently sat there for about 10 minutes, Saw a couple different people walking out from the back. Finally Jennifer appears, she tells the lady already waiting that she's going to do me first, that all she had to do was my eyebrows. So she asked me to follow her, and we walked down a long hallway with lots of rooms, finally get to the back room, her setup was pretty nice, and I felt very comfortable. I mentioned to her how long my eyebrows got, and how I needed them trimmed with scissors and obviously cleaned up with wax. Lol She was a very nice and easy lady to talk to, conversation flowed organically, So it was not at all awkward. But the reason why I gave her theee stars was because she didn't do much. I heard and felt when she took the scissors out, but it was like she only had them out for literally two snips. And when she was using the wax, she did get some in my hair and I felt her trying to get it out, but she didn't even say anything about it!! Lol. And when I got to the car to get a closer look of her work, I noticed that one eyebrow was much fatter in width than the other, Like she didn't shape my eyebrows evenly. Nothing that I can't go back to my regular salon and have them touch up because it's not like she took too much hair off, she just didn't take enough off. Lol. But still the point is now I'm going to have to pay again to get them done again. They charge $15 for eyebrow waxing, which is very fair but in this case I felt like I gave her $20 (15 + tip) To lay on her table for nothing. Haha Super grateful though that she didn't butcher my eyebrows!! I rather have not enough taken off versus having too much taken off!! And who knows maybe she's really good with eyelashes! (99% of her reviews are mainly on her lash skills) so I'm not trying to discredit her business in any way I'm just speaking from my experience with the waxing of eyebrows. Wasn't the worst experience, just wasn't the best either IMO. read more

I got lash extensions here and asked for natural looking lashes and even showed a picture of what I wanted. I let her do her thing and she wound up giving me the longest lashes she possibly could and they were incredibly painful. I thought the pain would go away eventually but it just ended up hurting worse as time went on. I reached out to Jeniffer about it and she offered to remove them. When I arrived for the removal she had me sit in the reception chair, applied some sort of liquid to my lashes and told me "don't open your eyes or it won't be good." She left me for 15 minutes while she worked on another client in the back and then returned and proceeded to rip my lashes out. More removal fluid needed to be applied so she added more and left for another 15 minutes. The liquid then began to seep into my eyes and it burned so badly I thought I was going to go blind. I called out to another person who worked there and asked her to go get Jennifer and Jen said that she would come in a few minutes. I just about started crying because I was in so much pain. She still couldn't remove the lashes after the second application of the liquid and offered to add more; but, at that point I was questioning her experience especially since she told me about another girl she did the same thing on who also said it was super painful. When I left all of my lashes were broken in half due to the use of too much glue and also the length of the lashes was placing too much stress on my natural lashes so many of them had fallen out after most of the glue was removed. I contacted her later on and requested a refund and she did give me half of what I paid ($50) back, so the one star is for that. Overall, she has little knowledge on the subject and continually made comments that she just needed more practice. She also needs to learn how to use less glue. And she attempted to put lash extensions on every single one of my lashes which is not what is supposed to be done. read more
