As a regular who has came here multiple times and given them multiple chances I understand they have multiple different artists so I have tried many different ones and every time I am disappointed. Every single time my nails do not last more than week. I thought at first maybe it was the job that I work but no, I got my nails done and went on vacation this past week and they are still horrible. After just one week it's unreasonable to pay $100 for my toes and nails just for my nails to be fading and falling off in a week, especially gel. I seriously do not think I will ever come back maybe if I'm desperate, but then I'll be knowing that I'm paying extremely overpriced for nails that aren't going to last even a week. Time for a nail refresh so I popped into Allure Nails & Spa. I went in for a gel manicure and Felix worked on my nails. The place is very nice and clean. It's modern and demure decor gives upscale vibes. It's very relaxing in there and I was getting sleepy while Felix was working in my nails. This place is a tad pricier than others nearby and I think it's fair considering the great work they do and how clean and customer service oriented they are. My hand and forearm massage was a-m-a-z-i-n-g!! I didn't want it to stop. My first time was good, I paid 75 + tip for a new set. 2 weeks later, I go to get a fill mind you I still have all my nails still just needed a color change and a bit more maintenance around the cuticle area. They charged me $69. That is unacceptable I should have spoke up about it since the girl told me on the phone $45 but should have been 30. Really great place, this is my go to to get pedicures, would've given 5 stars but the only thing I don't like is that some of them just "caress" your legs when giving a massage, not a true massage. Advertised $26 for "basic pedicure" but that wouldn't include foot scrub, so upsale to $36. Foot bath had paraffin wax floating in it from previous customer. Ick! I pointed it out and they moved me to a different station (after I had already soaked in the used tub). Manicurist was very young and left my nails too long and uneven. I question whether she had a license. She did not know how to do foot leg massage. On check out they charged an additional $2 for using a credit card. $38 plus tip out the door in 20 minutes. So I usually come here but my last visit was not it, I came for toes French tips with a letter s on the side and lady was not understanding me and decided to do hearts instead and than when I told her again she said was like okay what color and said white and decided to do them again but in white, so I told her agin and wrote it again threw text because maybe it was language barrier that she wasn't understanding me. So she said oh and than I told her you know what do you just have sticker so it much easier and she said yes so I gave her the one I wanted and told her where I wanted l. She decided to put the letter backwards and not in the right place and telling her and was still doing it wrong and got to the point I grab her hands and guided how to place it and she still decided to put it totally different. Which I ended giving up. As well my friend went to do her nails showed the nail tech what type of design she wanted on her nails they said they were able to do that and while they were doing her nails, she told them that she didn't like the certain way how the Nail design was they did not look exactly like the picture The nail tech got upset and instead of trying to fix them was telling her that's how they look in the picture then fix them and didn't exactly the same so she decided just to take off the hearts and just make them all look the same when she told the nail tech he was upset told her she had it away and was fine we waited and after we waited, he took the color off did a whole different type of color on her nail that wasn't the same color as the other ones and did it half fast on the nails the vibe was very off after we came back and told him about this and while they're fixing my friends nails, you could tell they're very judging and talking in their language read more

My appointment was at 10 am. I get there and place is packed. There's a sign that says they don't go in order of arrival because people have appts and availability of the nail techs. I think, cool good think I scheduled an appointment. WRONG! I get at down at 10:15. You think they would start. Wrong again. 10:25 rolls around. A nail tech comes in at 10:26 and that's the guy that I was told was going to do my nails. Nope, wasting my time any longer. If you expect me to wait when I made an appointment and you overbooked yourself, im not going to give you my hard earned money. I already drove from lake isabella and waited on you. I have gone here now since December and every time I am so pleased. I have been getting acrylics with gel and some times I do spa pedicures as well. The nail art is beautiful, but when I've done simpler nails I have also loved them. I have had Felix or his wife Tina do my nails and they are very talented and professional and friendly. They never hurt me and are really easy to work with. I also don't feel pressured to up sell. For my toes I have had Larry and Haylee, again both great, nice and no pain. The place overall is clean, smells good (not overly chemically like other places) and has a pretty calming aesthetic. All staff have been polite, friendly and made me feel comfortable. My co worker and I were looking to get a pedicure on our lunch hour ( I know risky business) so I started yelping some new options since she hasn't gotten one in years. We chose Allure since it was a short drive from the office but also that it was new and updated! We were pleasantly surprised that it's just as the photos if not better. We were greeted right away and waited less then 5 minutes to get seated at a pedicure station. While in the pedicure chair, I opted to also get a gel manicure and he did it right where I was sitting! Their color options are fantastic!! Better than most nail salons I've been to recently. My co worker got Lee I think his name was and he was so funny, he had us laughing the whole time. Walk-ins welcomed! Place freshly opened about two months ago! The first thing you notice when you walk in is how spacious the place is, it's so elegant looking with all it's white walls and marble looking floors, the perfectly placed furniture, nothing out of order, and the huge massage chairs, with the classical music playing softly in the background, and the two big screen TV's showing all these sweet treats being prepared in the most elegant way possible too lol... It was all just so fresh feeling, soothing and calming.... It wasn't to crowded at all on a Thursday late afternoon, I was greeted immediately, waited about 5 mins and was called to a chair! considering I was a walk-in, I didn't have to wait long at all. Sat in the deluxe massage chair, and was even offered a soda or water while my feet soaked!! Talk about fancy hospitality!!! Lol. Larry was my technician today, He was so nice and funny! You can tell he's passionate about what he does... so gentle, yet precise and detailed! Your given the menu and a booklet sample of all the colors they have, and you choose your preferences... I choose the happy Pedi with gel Polish. And two different colors... Very organized. I got the full hot towel wrap around and the scrub down with the exfoliating sugar orange and coffee cappuccino products, it was so relaxing and my feet and legs were so soft afterwards (side not, wear easy to roll up pants so you get the full leg treatment lol), not to mention how great the products smelled!! Aroma therapy! they even set a timer while they massage you so you get your full 5 mins!! Awesome. And the hot stone!!! Yes Please!! Such an Honest. Friendly. And down to earth experience!!
