I visited this lovely place after seeing some impressive deals on Facebook, and I must say, I was truly delighted. A gentleman took care of my pedicure, and he was both polite and attentive. He even noticed my acrylic big toe nails were lifting and kindly removed them instead of just covering them up, which I really appreciated. The atmosphere was peaceful, with a nice country music vibe. When I arrived, there were a few other clients being pampered, but I didn't mind waiting a bit while my feet soaked. I've been visiting this salon for the past six months. They do wonderful work and are updating their salon with new equipment every time I visit. Julia is the first person who recommended gel fill for my thin nail bed. I left with a big smile on my face that first time and every time since. Julia is fond of saying "every set of nails tells a story". Today mine say that I'm visiting Alaska on a cruise so I chose glacier blue and silver; but I'm keeping my nails short for practicality and work. Macy is also wonderful! Not clean. Lady was slumped over on couch when I walked in. Her nail stuff looked dirty and had build up.

I am beyond upset. I asked for short French tip. Let's start with the fact that all my nails are different shapes! Some are damn near coffin, some are ACTUALLY square which is what I asked for. The right hand makes the left hand look like I did it blindfolded on my own. They are extremely lumpy, the French tip isn't straight. It would be okay, if my right and left hand resembled each other, but they do NOT. I would not recommend anyone to this place. That was a waste of my money and time. read more

First let me clarify I'm out of town for work and broke a nail off in my trunk getting my suitcase out so my finger was already hurting or I would have waited to get home to my normal sweet lady...that being said...my appointment was at 5:30 she started calling me at 5:25 wanting to know where I was...um trying to find you...oh wait parking my car...come to find out she was wanting to do a walk in that was a regular instead of me...then her area was filthy the towel had old Acrylic nails stuck to it...should have walked out then...then she starts the drummel to take off the product and she runs it at such a high speed my nails get hot so it hurts..when I say something I get the fake smile and "sorry".... Nail files are cheap...buffers are cheap...sanitize you equipment...she did get my nails as thin as I like but that's about all...I guess I'm spoiled by my sweet lady back at home treating me right and not hurting me... read more

Wow. It is incredible how horrendous the service at this place was. I liked the work Julia did, but her daughter is rude. Anytime I call to talk to Julia, her daughter says she is busy. In the past she has hung up on me two times in a row. I didn't want to leave a bad review because Julia does good work, but today was the final straw. Her daughter gave me an appointment time of 5 PM. When I arrived, Julia said she couldn't take me because of the line of people waiting. I told her I called to make a reservation and her response was to just look at everyone waiting. HORRIBLE customer service. read more

The owner and her daughter are beyond rude and have no customer service skills. My grandma has been getting pedicures from Joy for years, since they worked at the salon on Stockdale. 2 months ago they tell us we can no longer bring my grandma without an appointment. (Completely understandable) So 2 weeks ago we go with our appointment being set for 11:45. We walk in, no one greets us and we are just sitting there. At 12:15 Joy comes over and tells us her appointment is there and we have to come back!! I made an appointment with Julia who is sitting there looking at us and she didn't say anything in our defense, when they seen I was getting irritated Joy finally sat my grandma down at 12:30! My Grandma is 87 years old and does not speak English, I can't imagine if we would have just dropped her off as we usually do, since she knows them... NEVER AGAIN. read more

Great it wasn't busy yay I could go in right away. So I told this girl where I was going and what I was thinking and I thought she would come up w something creative. She said customers have pictures and we copy it. I said ok can u do this? No. how about this? No and so on so forth. Both of us frustrated but mostly me. On top of that when we finally picked she didn't color the sides of my nails. I asked her to and she said she can't without any explanation. So I said "so it's just gonna be white then?" She filed one nailthen said she would fix them which she didn't. She finally gets done kicks me off the chair to put this regular on and then puts me back on to finish. She then told me the glitter would cover the design and I told her that that's what I wanted. Very frustrating experience. I liked that she was fast putting my acrylics on but I didn't like that she rushed everything and she didn't care about the quality of her nails. Just wanted me to pay and get out of there. Had to tell her to get the powder from underneath my nails cuz a big glob was stuck on my nail and skin.i hate telling people how to do their jobs and it's even worse when they don't care if you're happy or the quality of their work. My nails don't look terrible but doesn't look like the simple picture. Update-today I went to get my eyebrows done and give this place a second chance. The lady was talking on speakerphone while doing my eyebrows and spit on me in the process. Told me I was Korean when I wasn't. At least the eyebrows looked good. read more

Ended up here because I'm still in search of that one nail person I want to keep going to and I saw lots of 4 stars on here. Efficiency is what I'm looking for- clean job and no missed areas for polish. While the lady who did my nails did an amazing job with the design, she neglected the rest of my nails. Ofcourse when I got done, I too neglected to see my other nails. While the nails on my right hand was thoroughly filed, I realized the lady had forgotten to file my left hand nails because of the shuttle sharp edge which don't bother me as much as the missed spot on three of the nails- but it still isn't as bad as my last nail Solon experience with Modern nails on Panama Lane. I was amazed at her design and is why I have a 3 stars. My problem was not as bad as a Modern Nails on Panama Lane so I may give another person there a chance next time and ask for the people that people have recommended on their review because it seems there must be something here with all those 4 stars. Got my nails done and their material they use not only messed up my real nails but the material they use is cheap shit I've gotten my nails done and they normally last 3-6 weeks.. these pair lasted me 4 days I went back to get them fixed bebes mom fucked up my nails even more. She filed them like a 2yr old did my nails... don't waist your money. The gel you can peel off like if it's the nail polish you use at home the acrylic breaks so easily a baby can break them . Fuck this place . Trust that they just want your money. First time here and for sure last. Unbelievable.... terrible ! Oh and watch out they might take your pic while you're not looking . I use to come here on a regular basis. The lady who previously did my nails no longer works here. I use to love this place so much. It's very far from my house so I go out of my way to travel such a distance. The girl who did my pedicure was young and I could tell she was inexperienced. They didn't greet me as I came in. Cut my toenails too low after I told her that I didn't want short toenails. I requested acrylic on my big toe in which she didn't know how to do. She tried to just polish my nails and I told her no I want acrylic on my toe since u cut my nails so low. She had her mom do it in which she didn't know how to do it either. They proceeded to talk about me consistently in their native language. So sad. Her mom kept taking the acrylic off in which it made my toe sore and red. Didn't do the polish right cause she was rushing. What a moron. I paid 28$ for b.s. NO I will never come back to Julia's nails. read more

The best place in town and I have been to many!!! Ask for Joy! She is very thorough and gentle! When she left the last place and I let someone else give me a mani pedi I was immediately on a mani pedi strike and wouldn't let anyone else touch my feet.
