This place was great! Lily who did my nails was super nice and attentive. The place was very clean and prices were reasonable! They even have little kids chairs if they decide to get their nails done. I've never seen that. So cute! I got a gel manicure and regular pedicure. When they do the callus removal, they had a little grinder which was nicer than them scrubbing the hell out of your feet with that stone. I would be back! I have been coming to Aeon Nails since 2021. Initially the service was amazing and I always left very satisfied. I came in every two weeks like clockwork. However the prices have gone up while the quality of the work and the customer service has gone down significantly over the last year and a half. I understand places get busy and techs have off days. But the last 4 visits I've had have left much to be desired. I make appointments and have scheduled the same three services each time--a mani, a pedi, and an eyebrow wax. Recently, it has felt like it isnt worth it to even have an appointment, since walk-ins seem to take precedence. When techs become overwhelmed with the volume of walk-in appointments, they rush. I have had to remind techs to ease up with the dremel, be careful with the files, or simply not to rush with the polish or nail art. I've also had to remind them of scheduled services on more than one occasion, and have had to wait for another tech to become available because they are so overscheduled. I have been considering finding a new place for a while now and the visit I had today will unfortunately, be my last. I had a 10 AM appointment but sat in my pedi chair for almost 20 minutes. It's the weekend, so a bit of a wait is understandable, but they didn't offer to at least start the water to allow me to soak while I waited. I sat in a totally dry bowl until someone finally came to start it. My manicure didn't begin for over an hour and a half. I had scheduled a full Gel X set, but by the time he began, it was already almost 11:30 and he had a new appointment coming in at 12, so he was rushing quite a bit. I had requested a simple checkerboard design on one nail. It was rushed and sloppily done. Toward the end of my appointment, I asked about my eyebrow wax and was told they would not he able to provide it. This was very frustrating as this was the main reason for my visit and I desperately needed one. I expressed that I wished someone had given me a head's up so I could have moved my appointment if needed. This was kind of my last straw, and I won't be back. It's a shame, as I've been coming here for a long time and there was a time where the service was amazing. read more

Went on a girls day with my kids to get our nails pedicure done. To start, there was an older lady there that couldn't give a smile to any of my kids and when she did pedi/mani to one of my kids (7yrs old) she was so rude to her I had to tell her to talk to me instead of her. I can see my daughter's face she was getting a little scared with her tone and attitude. I got a full set that within a week of service one nail came off clean, and all others started lifting and looking ugly from the bottom ($65set) My daughter got a full set and they all started lifting as well. ($70set) I've never had a set done before where it wouldn't last more than a couple days. The great thing about this place was the vibe the music gave. My mom came here for a face waxing and was left with a small burn on her skin. It wasn't extremely red, but it was noticeable and shouldn't have happened. What made it worse is that they charged her $40, and the price changes every time she goes, even though it's the same service. That's confusing and doesn't feel right. I have been a faithful client of Andrew at aeon nails for a couple of years... When I went in for my last appointment about 4 weeks ago...I was told Andrew was on vacation... Even though I had scheduled to specifically see him. So another nail tech did my nails and I was not happy with her work... When I called today to make an appointment with Andrew, I was told he was on vacation... Which would make it a very long vacation... which he deserves but when I asked when he would return they told me they did not know. I wonder if Andrew has left the Aeon salon and moved to another. I happen to drive across the street from Kern Vascular clinic, looking for a place to get a pedicure. I found Aeon Nail spa and I met Lisa. When I go to a new nail spa- I always go for the pedicure first. I ended up choosing the 45.00 pedicure which includes callous remover and an 8 min. hot stone massage! Sucker for those hot stone massages. Lisa, she did a great job! Both my feet and I thanked her for making us feel good! Take care of one self before taking care of others! The inside has two sides, both sides with plenty of space. One side more for nails with a few massage chairs in the back and the second half, full of massage chairs. It looks fairly updated. This place is NOT kid friendly! They have HORRIBLE customer service! My 4 year old and I waited 1 hour and then when someone finally came to us, they started with my child first. After they finished my child, they assumed I was going to wait another hour for them to do my pedicure. I just had the worst experience ever getting my nails done by Bob! He used dirty nail files and then failed to paint my nails properly when I asked for a milky white. The polish was uneven and he painted parts of my cuticle, cut me twice while trying to file off part of the gel polish that was already cured, and then blamed me saying that my cuticle was crooked. I have gone to this salon for years but I will never be back. He persisted in arguing with me and got loud, so I proceeded to leave without getting finished. I can't believe that the management allowed him to act this way. I'm completely appalled! Never have I left a nail salon so mad that I was in tears! Never again!! Been here a couple times. Came for a pedicure which was great. Gel lasted a long time and the overall service was thorough. Decided to come back to try out an acrylic nail set. Original set was ok, had a nail break 2nd week. Went in for a fill and the guy doing it acted very distracted-got up 5x during service to help others. Was changed out by another guy who didn't file under my nails and I had to ask for cuticle oil when done. Worst place ever , highly doubt not recommend ! They charged us $169 for your basic manicure and pedicure and for my wife to have her nails filled the guy that did my wife's nails stayed on one side of the chair they did not give her a pillow to rest her arm on. She had to sit there and hold her arm up the whole time we were there her nails came out with bubbles in the gel paint, my fingernails look like the top of a stop sign absolutely horrible service. I'm very disappointed in this place. I used to go here for pedicures & dip. I've gone for their pedicures before and they were okay, they don't really remove callus which is one of the main reasons I get one. Last Thursday, I got a pedicure & dip. I called and made an appointment at 6pm and let them know I wanted both and it was totally fine. When I get there, they started the pedicure about 10 minutes later, then brought the tray around to do my nails. But they overbooked, a party of 4-5 people came so they chose to not do the dip at the same time. When my pedicure was finished I waited at least 25 minutes for the dip, there were people around the salon available. So close to closing time they decided to do my nails and because of that they guy that did my nails rushed the whole thing. He went insanely fast, didn't put the first priming layer of dip instead he went straight into the color, my nails were not shaped bumpy and honestly I could've cried from how ugly they were. I wanted oval and the nails varied between oval and almond. I paid $110 for the pedicure and dip. The icing on top is that the nails started to lift within 5 days and came off after 8 days! Recently moved to Bakersfield from LA and I've had some trouble finding a good nail spot till now. I usually get nail dip or every now and then gel X nails when I'm feeling spicy . Let me tell you it was a journey to find people who know how to apply nail dip. I called around to inquire about gel x nails but it seems like that service hasn't really hit here yet but I highly recommend. I do not agree with fees for matte topcoat!! $10 extra charge on mani/pedi gel with matte. They have to use a topcoat to finish!!! WHY does it matter if it is shiny or matte?!! I got a pedicure & acrylic full set for $112. Louis did my pedi and he was wonderful. Vanna did my acrylics and they turned out so bad. I showed her a pic of almond red french tips and all my nails look like blobs. They are very straight and look like they're almost curved upward from my finger. she never asked if i liked the shape just started painting my nails all solid red even though i had asked for french. she was very rough, it was painful just having tips put on from how hard she was pinching my finger on the cuticle. This place is usually pretty good. I'm just here to warn everyone to not let Rosa (or Rose maybe?) trim or paint your nails. She trimmed and filed mine unevenly. She didn't seem to notice or didn't care. I asked her to even them out and she did. Her paint job was even worse. She left paint on my skin and left the polish uneven. I couldn't really tell how bad it was until I got outside in the sun. She just has no attention detail. read more

Almost 2 hours for a classic pedicure! I have been coming to this location for over a year and loved it... until now. Went in on a slow Tuesday morning for a classic pedicure. When I arrived there was 1 client in the entire salon so I was sat at a chair right away. One nail tech started removing my old polish and As I sat and waited 3 ladies walked in that also wanted pedicures. The lady who had removed my polish then went to work on one of them and a different nail tech continued to work on me. I immediately knew she had no idea what she was doing and she was extremely new and SO slow. Overall the experience was awful, she rinsed off my legs with dirty water and forgot to rinse with Clean water before continuing to add lotion and "massage". Gross. I Had to ask the initial nail tech ( who had already started and finished the client who walked in after me) to please assist and finish the job as I was coming up on the 1.5 hour mark. She mixed some of her errors and said to ask for her next time. The only reason I'm giving it two stars is because when I told the gentleman at check out he took off 30%. But even then I'm never going back. If they would've told me she was in training and didn't know how to do the job I would've waited or gone somewhere else. read more
