I appreciated that the aesthetician who did my mani pedi correctly sensed that I'm not a nail salon small talker, and we both let the other person kindly vibe in peace. I rarely get my nails done because I rock climb and thus get chalk all over my hands. This mani was worth it, and it even survived a bouldering session! I used to go to this place to get pedicures because I felt like they cared a lot about your nail health. I recently went in there to get an acrylic soak off, and instead of them actually soaking them off like normal, she pried them off my nail bed and tore them all off. It was extremely painful and I would have never thought any licensed nail tech would ever do that. As they were being torn off, you could hear my natural nail coming with it. I gave this salon another chance after my gel polish came off within 24 hours. I just got regular polish this time. It started coming off within two hours, and I noticed it was very bumpy and they hadn't actually trimmed the sides of my toenails. Upon entry I was greeted and seated. The gentleman ran the water and had me soak my feet until it was my turn. The place wasn't very full. After a while I asked if he was the only one doing pedicures. No response, so I waited. I figured it's Sunday maybe they were understaffed. Finally it was my turn. My husband and I went to get pedicures. We both chose the 55$ one that included a 15-minute massage. One manicurist came to me, and the other one skipped my husband and started tending to another client. Another manicurist about 5 minutes later started working on his feet. He only received an 8 minute massage, not 15 like stated. I already had one of the thumb nails crack. The lady only dips it in the powder, doesn't brush the acrylic, and doesn't make you wash hands after. There is only one lady I recommend there and she's usually always booked. If you know me, you know I LOVE a manicure. When my nails look clean and shiny, I am a happy woman. This was my first time here and I had a nice first impression upon walking in. It is clean and modern and there were SO many color choices for gels that I was instantly excited. My girlfriend and I only sat and waited for a few minutes before we were next to be beautified. Forgive me, I forgot the name of the staff member who did my manicure, but she was far too light handed. She pushed my cuticles back with the same amount of force you might use when touching a feather. When she went to clip them, most of what she was clipping at was the air around my cuticles, which was annoying - it had been a couple months since my last manicure and more attention was needed to this area. I picked a lovely shade of red, and when she was finished my nails did look pretty, nice, and shiny. Upon closer inspection, I noticed that she did not file my nails to the same length and some of them were longer than others, which bugged me. Uniformity is quite important. The price I paid was in close comparison to any other salon in town like this one. WORST PART: I got my gel manicure on a Friday and by Sunday, they were peeling off. No, no, no, no, noooo!!!! I have to give them the benefit of the doubt that maybe this isn't their norm, but for me and my beloved gel manicures.. we will not be returning. read more

When I had acrylic nails I used to come here every two weeks to get them filled and polished and had nothing but good experiences. Two years ago I went back to having natural nails and hadn't been back until yesterday when I returned to get a manicure and pedicure. When I entered the shop one of the older ladies who works there recognized me and started chatting pleasantly with me while I got set up in one of the eight pedicure chairs. They also have seven manicure stations, but I told them I was in a hurry so they did both services on me at the same time. She did my nails while a younger girl worked on my toes. I love their massage chairs, and really wouldn't mind waiting if I could just sit in them and get massaged, but they're pretty efficient here and keep things moving along almost quickly. My fingernails turned out beautifully. I wanted a french manicure with white tips, but I didn't want to deal with them chipping so she did a gel undercoat, a french manicure, then a gel top coat. My nails look great - shiny and perfectly shaped. The girl doing my pedicure did a really good job working on my calluses (I'm a dancer so my feet can get pretty bad) and shaping the nails, and the white tip polish she put on looked great, for about a couple of hours, and then started chipping. I'd give my nails 5 stars, but the pedicure only 2 stars. I really think that if they'd used gel on my toes they would have turned out fine, but she should have been honest and told me that the french look wouldn't work on my toes without it. Argh. All in all, I've always liked this salon, but this visit definitely deserves a mixed review. read more

When I walked in there was no one at the front desk. There were two people sitting in the back in the pedicure chairs yelling across the lobby asking what I wanted. This went on for a few minutes before one of them finally told me to sit down at one of the tables. I saw a review that says they prefer cash so I brought cash but they had no change. After I got my nails done there was some kind of residue on my fingers that resembled dried super glue that lasted for a few days before finally disappearing. Prices that are posted are not correct.
