I am extremely upset! I went in to paint my daughter's nails who is only 8 years old. She wanted gel nail polish and on their sheet it said $18 each. They charged me $30 each so $60 total just to paint a little girls hands and toes! I have been a loyal customer for years and don't think I will be returning here again! I am a very generous tipper and this pissed me off! Treat your customers right and don't abuse by up charging for something so basic on a child! read more

Before I even set foot in the salon, their prompt and thorough reply to my inquiry on Yelp immediately impressed me. They were quick and answered all my questions, and an accurate estimate for the services I was interested in. Upon arrival, from a mans perspective i recieved no weird glares form the staff or the patrons and the salon itself was a clean and inviting environment. They open at 9:00 AM, most days , but it's probably best to make an appointment, as it starts to get quite busy around 10:00 AM. This proved incredibly helpful in planning my visit. My technician, Kathy, was great. It had been five years since my last mani/pedi combo (stop it, I know what youre thinking...dont make that face) , anyhow I was a bit apprehensive, but Kathy's gentle touch and attentive listening put me completely at ease. She took her time, her detail was perfect, and genuinely listened to all my preferences and concerns., and we also had a good chat making me feel even more welcome. There were no hidden fees or unexpected add-ons at the end, which was a welcome relief. I received exactly what I asked for, and the quality of Kathy's work was simply amazing. I went earlier today to get a pedicure and a builder gel manicure. I gave a reference photo of my (attached) for my nails and there was some miscommunication on the builder gel and it was just put on my nails instead of with tips which was okay since this was my first time getting builder gel, but since my nails were shorter we had to modify the design...they did not come out good at all...the manicurist kept wiping off and redoing it with his finger multiple times which left residue each time and the flowers somehow turned into blobs along with bubbles. The pedicure came out fine since it was just solid color gel but overall I'm not happy with the nails, especially paying an additional $25 for the "design" read more

My experience here sucked and I left very disappointed. I paid for the Royal Pedicure, which is supposed to include a callus treatment, sea salt scrub, mask, paraffin wax, herbal candle massage, and a 15-minute hot stone massage. The service cost $80 with gel and $65 without and it was a complete disappointment. First, the cooling mask with hot towels was applied after the lotion, which made no sense because it completely wiped off the product underneath. It's always before the lotion and massage. Then, the candle massage was skipped altogether. When I asked about it, the staff spoke in another language smiled at each other, and ignored my question. On top of that the "15-minute" massage lasted barely 10 minutes he even started the timer but spent several minutes fumbling with supplies, opening packages instead of actually providing the service. Overall, the treatment did not include what was promised, and the quality was rushed and careless. If a business cannot provide all the services listed, they should not charge for the services they are unable to provide. read more

I unfortunately would not recommend this salon. I was excited to support a new local business, but ended up disappointed. I went to the Grand Opening today, pretty shortly after opening, where I received services from James and Tracy. I purchased Elegant Pedicure ($40), Dip with Take Off ($50), Regular Manicure ($20), and Air Brush design ($15). Pros: Nice decor, nice employees, good intentions with pretty nail designs. Cons: Pricing unclear, pedicure/manicure lacking, everything is an add-on. For the Elegant Pedicure- the water was initially so hot I gasped and pulled my feet out right away, so they were a little raw. The callus removal buffing was so abrasive and hurt, especially when he scrubbed at the arch, side, and toes, which didn't seem necessary. The hot stone massage was excellent and he did a great job! The pedicure itself was lacking cuticle softener and pulled at my skin a bit. Polish application was patchy and I had to ask to have it fixed before I left. Tracy was nice and applied polish on top but no more top coat, so I will do that at home. For the Dip with Take Off- I had gel on previously, which he did not soak off but instead just used the drill to remove, so my nails felt a bit thin afterward. Then there was no manicure included with it, so I had to request it, which I am not used to with other salons. The nail prep and dip application were fine, until he went to add the dip activator. The bottle didn't even have enough to cover one nail despite his best efforts to shake it and jam the brush in it. He looked for more but apparently no one in the entire salon on opening day had any more dip activator. I voiced my concern about proceeding without it, but was told by both James and Tracy that it was fine. Nail websites did not think it's a good thing to do but because I had gel on top for the ombré, maybe they won't chip? It felt like my concern wasn't addressed though, just shrugged off. For the Regular Manicure- it was just a bowl of lukewarm water for maybe all of 10 seconds before he scraped my nails roughly, then trimmed my cuticles without using any cuticle softener, which was uncomfortable and not thorough. The shaping happened at the end by him and again by Tracy and was fine. There was no cuticle oil application. Cold lotion was rubbed in briefly and removed with a warm towel. Speed seemed to be the main goal. Not anywhere near worth $20 and was disappointing since a good manicure is a good foundation for healthy nails and pretty nail designs. For the Air Brush Design- this was new to me. They do not use the dip powder to ombré, the way I've had it done at other salons. They use a spray nozzle, which was effective and made a very pretty ombré effect by Tracy! I appreciated that. It was confusing that this was an extra charge though and that pink and white did not just mean this to begin with. I would have been happy with the dip only pink and white too. Overall, I'm disappointed and would not spend the money again. The other services (Manicure and Airbrush) were not 25% off as advertised, either. If they focus on improving the quality of the services and improve the clarity regarding what is included in services, then I think they'll be more successful. The staff were very nice! read more

I went in today so excited because I have an important event Saturday ! I was going for a gel pedicure , deep french design , acrylic overlay on a broken toe nail. . Where do I begin so everything was going good & then it all went down hill ! 1: she added a clear color acrylic instead of a pinkish , so you were able to see through the broken nail & she made a super bumpy thick oval nail shape horrible work ! 2: she didn't understand the design of deep French tip when I had shown her since the beginning the style 3: my nails were so uneven & she had a super small file to try to make them straight like this is A $75 service . Use better grip files ‍ So I was not seeing that she was making them any better she kept wiping off the white polish .. I had to call another nail tech who was beside me to ask her if she can help improve my nails . The other woman did a better job but she looked annoyed while doing it . Not sure if it was with me or the employee who was not doing the pedicure correctly. Then they call another guy to finish the design on my nails . In total 3 people worked on my nails . Did I love them ? No ! Horrible experience I was trying to keep calm and see if the final product will be better , I was not happy at all . To top it off I was charged full price $75 . . Classic Manicure pedicure with gel and a fabulous hot stone foot massage. Perfection! Clean, modern and nice holiday decorations.

Went about a month ago for a gel pedicure and everything was done fine from what it seemed. My nail tech made my toes look pretty but about a week after I got them done, my big toe nail started to really hurt. I cut it down thinking it was just too long. Fast forward this morning I noticed my gel nail polish lifting well actually it was my whole toe nail lifting. So over half of my toe nail rotted and fell off this morning. Very painful and gross. The tools they used were not sanitized or cleaned properly or my toe nail would not have fallen off. I'm getting married in 2 months and this is so unfortunate I just hope it grows back in time. read more

Went today on their grand opening, got a classic pedicure with regular polish and a dip manicure. My pedicure was great! 4/5. Very friendly lady who took her time with all of the steps, attention to detail, and polish application. Wish I got her name. Massage was ok, but I really care about the end result. My dip manicure was eh ok. 3/5. Nice shaping but I found her application to be a little rushed (dipping two nails at a time and powder was lumpy on some nails) and she knicked me a little while using the drill. She did ask me several times if I liked the shape which I appreciated that. I was given 1 booklet of colors to choose from for dip so I wish they had more options to choose from. Overall, 4/5 would definitely go again for a pedicure. It's a clean salon and the decor is nice, has a good vibe inside. Seems like getting a manicure here might be a gamble read more

My friend and I went yesterday to get a fill and a full set and we were given the waiting time of 15 minutes and then it ended up being past 15 minutes so I asked her again how much longer it would be and she couldn't really even give me a time. I understand it was busy but the transparency of the wait time should have been more clear, it was super frustrating. Although the salon is beautiful. The staff does not match the aesthetic. I was looking for a nail salon to get a pedicure and came across Milano's advertisements and their grand opening promotions. I called to check availability for walk ins and confirmed the 20% promotional discount. I was told that the discount is valid and to mention it at checkout. I finish my work at home and head to the salon. My nail technician was in a bad mood from the beginning. Even when I chose colors it was an inconvenience to her. She didn't like the color I chose and brought a different shade and was going to apply it until I noticed and specifically said no I want this shade number I requested. Then after my pedicure I went to pay and mentioned the discount - and was told "nope we're not doing that anymore" and I said well I called and they said yes the discount is valid. Without saying anything, she takes my cash and starts speaking a different language clearly frustrated and leaves the room with my money and returns with my change - no discount applied. I'm not satisfied with this outcome, the business advertised the sale not me. They should have honored it and the nail technician should have been more positive and friendly. I didn't feel like welcome and instead felt like I bothered her by coming in for a service. Better off going somewhere else. read more
