However this last one did not do a good job at all had to have him put another gel color on and the edges and sides were so done horribly I had to file myself and so uneven I pay $65 for what? Gel manicure chipped in less than 24 hours and the gel got on my finger, not just the nail. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this place.

A few months ago one of my friends recommended I check out model nails for a mani-pedi. I love them. I have been there at least once a month for the last 3 months. Hannah is amazing she is so caring and kind. Everyone there has great customer service. Twice now I've gone in because I broke one of my nails and Hannah has fixed them without even charging me a penny. she just saying no no no I fix them I'll fix them it's not been long enough since you had them done. Tonight we couldn't find the exact color to match my initial gel that was on my nails so she just painted all of them to make them all match. I highly recommend this nail salon! read more

I came in here on the fly because I happened to break a couple of nails today. It generally happens when I have them too long. When I arrived the place only had one other person and I was immediately helped. The lady was very patient and took her time with me. I had initially picked a totally different color, but the Christmas parade was on and I asked her if I could change and she was very accommodating. She knew I wanted an accent nail and picked the perfect colors to compliment my red nails. The lady was great, the place was clean and she really took her time. The only reason I'm giving 4 out of 5 stars is because a couple of my nails have an off shape, but not too noticeable. She graciously cut my nails when I told her as short as you can get. I have been here twice, on consecutive days, and had two very different experiences. Two days before Christmas I dropped in to take advantage of their waxing services. The place was PACKED with people getting manicures and pedicures and they were well staffed to take card of them. I was greeted immediately in spite of all the chaos and asked what services they could perform for me. When I said I was interested in waxing, they sent me back immediately to a little room where a very friendly lady handled me quickly and efficiently and kept up a running friendly chatter about Christmas plans, both mine and hers. I was in and out in well under 10 minutes yet felt she had truly attempted to make a connection. The charge for a lip and brow wax is $14 which I believe is reasonable, though I mostly get them threaded so I'm not sure of the going rate. I returned the next afternoon, the day before Christmas, to try to fit a pedicure into my busy schedule of last minute Christmas errands. There were only two workers here at 2:30 on the afternoon the day before Christmas, Amanda and a woman, and they were both busy. There were several people waiting in chairs at the front and I was not greeted immediately, though the gentleman smiled at me as I signed in on their clipboard. Luckily for me, two of the people waiting in chairs were just waiting for their friends to be done and one wanted a manicure so I was actually next in line. I'd waited only about five minutes and they had magazines available to keep me entertained. Model Nails has six pedicure stations and the lady working there quickly finished with the woman in front of me and had me seated in one of them. She even started the massage feature for me so I could get started relaxing. There are also six manicure stations. Ben, whose name I discovered when the lady getting her pedicure wished him a Merry Christmas, was busy doing a manicure, smiling at everyone the whole time. He worked through several customers while I was there and every one of them had a smile on their face when they left. The water was warm and the jets felt good on my sore tootsies as I watched a talk show on the flat screen television hung on the back wall and enjoyed the kneading motion of the massage chair on my upper and lower back. This is the life. I'm in the middle of a bad asthma flair up and my pedicurist expressed great concern over my coughing, offering to get me something to drink - a very friendly girl. The salt scrub massage felt nice on my calves. I am not into manicures, but I do so enjoy treating myself to a pedicure every once in a while. She did an excellent job of scrubbing away my callouses. My callouses are my favorite excuse to treat myself to pedicures. If not properly managed they split until they bleed. This woman did a lovely job! Next came the usual hand massage with lotion followed by the not so customary hot stone massage. Most places only include the hot stone massage in their fancier pedicure options. Model Nail includes it in their basic pedicure at a cost if $20, the same price other nail salons charge for their base level pedicure! I have been here twice now. This is my families go to place for pedicures. The workers are nice and the chairs are comfy. They have a great selection of nail polish available for you to choose from. The pedicure it self has been great both times I have gone. The price is reasonable. Though it is always busy so don't expect it to be a quick experience. I would recommend making reservations as well. The chairs are comfy and last time i was in there was a great movie on. You can always go next store and pick up a drink or snack before if you are just going for a pedicure. One thing i appreciate is they have designs on display that are more then just the typical flowers. OK so my wife loves this place and I go there for the pedicure just to get the massive callouses off of my man feet. They do a great job of removing the callouses. I had a problem that really wasn't a big deal and put it in my review. I decided to try one more time and went back. The owner came to me (unsolicited) and apologized for the minor problem and I agreed to amend my review. I came back because they are such a nice group of people and they care enough to talk to me about any problems I have. In any event, I really like this place and the people who work here. They are super sweet to my daughter and try hard to do a great job. I have decided to edit my review and add a star. I think knowing how much the owner cares and is willing to talk to me about it says volumes. I liked this place before and I still do. Give them a try and see what you think. After a super fun and relaxing time, I ended up with the most perfect, gorgeous nails ever! I just love them so much!! I took my sister in law for her birthday. It's ok. You get what you pay for. You get a soak and color and a little massage with lotion and 1 min of stone massage, which I didn't even feel. I noticed on their price sheet they charge extra to remove callus. What's a pedi without removing callus. Thank god it was winter and didn't need to worry about it. I'll stick with mines, I get a soak, callus removed, salt scrub and a nice long foot reflexology massage. Good for someone wanting to try out the basics and see what the hot stone feels like. This was the first time I had an ingrown nail. I was nervous because I thought they would be rough but they we very delicate. Really nice realizing calm area. This is my go-to place for pampering. Usually, I go in for a simple pedicure which includes a hot stone massage at even the most basic levels. The polish lasts for an eternity because they do such a good job even without gel. I feel so spoiled when I get services here! Everyone is so kind and courteous. I would strongly recommend making an appointment if you go on the weekends or later hours. It can get busy. I've made an appointment and still have had to wait awhile.
