After giving this place try after try I finally had to complain. My powder dip nails started to "pop" off 4 days after getting them done. This has been done by the same person I've had not so great outcomes with. First time she used a nail tip to remove existing nail (jamming it between my real nail and the dip), secondly after a couple days my nails would get caught in my hair because they start lifting from the bottom part of the nail bed, one other time I had discoloration when a nail came off it was green yellow, and she asked where I got them done before, but the answer was her. She said moisture got under my nails so that's why they turned green yellow. I gave my nails 2 months break and returned to her and within 4 days nails started to pop off. In a weeks times I lost 3 nails (not my real nails, but the powder dip part) That was the last time I went there. read more

I don't do anything heavy duty (I'm usually just on my computer) and one of the nails still popped off 6 days after. Most of the nails soon followed in the next three days. This was my first time coming to Paris Nail Lounge and it was wonderful! My nail tech was Tao (I believe that was his name) and he was excellent! He was gentle and took his time and did the exact design I wanted. I've been to several nail salons and I never revisit because of one reason or another but I will be going. Everything went well. I've been here three times. Yesterday (5-22-25) was the best! Her name is Sophia. She did a great job. I had an appointment today and my podiatrist said that my pedicure was on point. He said whoever did my nails did a really good job. Brand new shop right near my house. Popped in one day for a pedicure. Shiny, new everything! 40 bucks for the #1 basic pedicure. I thought that was a little steep, but I was already in the chair and looking through color books. Tons of colors to choose from! This $40 basic pedicure is not basic at all! This woman took her time. I didn't feel rushed like some other places I've been. After she trimmed my nails and cleaned them up, my legs were scrubbed with a sugar scrub. So nice! Then, out came the hot rocks....whaaaat?! They didn't rush me through even though I got the cheapest pedicure. They took their time to give me a great pedicure! Great place! Great staff! My favorite pedi Tech Lisa left another nail shop an of course I had to follow her. This place is nice I mean really nice , you walk in an everyone greets you. It's so relaxing just walking in, Spa music playing TV playing beach waves. It's not just a nail salon they have facials, waxing an lashes. They have a spa menu , I did the pedicure spa an manicure gel nails total $75 plus tip . Not bad at all I was so relaxed walking out of there . The spa pedi I highly recommend it's worth every penny. Susan did my nails , great job I like short nails an she did it actually like I like it , she didn't ask me over an over if this is okay, she just knew an got it right . Lisa did my toes as always awesome job, she always takes care of my feet an never fails she never makes a mistake. When you can trust someone with your feet then you know you found the right one. Wow. I'm completely convinced I have found my go-to nail salon in Bakersfield. Susie continues to exceed my expectation with how she's able to execute the designs I come in with for my nails. And she went above and beyond grabbing all the colors required for what I wanted and did not hesitate one bit whenever I asked for a different color. They did an amazing job on my daughter's nails. Only thing I would've changed was that they left her cuticles a little ragged looking - she needed cuticle oil. My pedicure was amazing, but kinda expensive (although I don't get them regularly and with inflation it could be normal price!) This place is awesome. The staff were so kind and gentle with my toes and fingers. I got a gel pedicure and a dip manicure. I wish they had more matching colors for gel and dip but we found two colors that matched closely. One of my finger nails had broken and was shorter than the other so they put an acrylic end on it to make it match the others. Would definitely come back and I highly recommend. High quality nails. I have been to this salon previously and was happy with the level of service, but I will not be back again after my recent visit. I went in with my daughter for a manicure and pedicure. We were rushed from the beginning and the lady doing my nails kept sighing and rolling her eyes because I couldn't decide on a color. All four techs working on our hands and feet were talking so loud that we couldn't speak to each other or even relax and enjoy ourselves. They were all extremely rude, including the owner which was very disappointing. My daughter has been going to the owner's salons for close to ten years and she refuses to go back at this point. read more
