The ladies working were very nice and welcoming. However, the place didn't seem very clean and the service was not as great as I hoped it would be. I was welcomed to an odd smell as I walked in. I got a gel pedicure and I got cut and bled several times. There was another girl next to me who was in pain and she asked them to stop. It took an hour to get my pedicure done and I had to ask her to skip the massage because I was running late for my appointment. I didn't expect it to take this long. My nails came out looking fine but I can still feel the cuts which still burn. I probably will stick to my original nail salon and won't be back. The place looked dirty. The chairs are all beat up and peeling away, the nail clippers and other pedicure things didn't even look sanitized. No AC in Bakersfield and had a strong smell. The person doing my feet didn't even wear gloves..... He came in as if he just woke up didn't say anything, didn't even introduce himself. Just came in and started touching my feet. I was very disappointed in the result of my nails unfortunately. I needed some back to school nails and wanted a very simple brown square dips. I had some almond acrylics on previously, and they were ripped off and made my fingers bleed. I was in a bit of pain, as you can imagine, but I needed my nails done so it is what it is. Until they completed the set and they were instead peach toned, very thick, round dips. I wouldn't recommend coming back here. This was not the only instance I've heard of this, but they were nearby and cheap so I tried it out anyway. I should've listened, but maybe now someone can learn from my mistakes! read more

They didn't ask how I wanted my nails shaped. My nails are glued to my skin. They used that electrical tool that just destroys your nails. Rushed, no massage even though my friend had the same thing done and got a massage. Nails are unevenly shaped. Just feel like they're rushing you in & out. Love nails Olive Dr and Jewetta: New years eve 2023 The gal that was in charge New Year's Eve due to Rose being in Vegas for new years had a very, very dry sense of humor right when she opened the door when business opened, she was very rude and acted like she was mad because she had to work new years eve. Mind you I was the first one in line, first one that walked into get a pedicure, full set and my eye brows done. Waited 3hrs and ended up walking out and going to Bliss Nails. Before I ended up leaving I got my eye brows done, and toes done. The girl that done my toes stated that she did not know how to do acrylic so I had to wait for the girl that was in charge.. as I waited mind you, usually takes about an hour for nails, she was still working on a girls nails that walked in after me two hours later.... two girls working, a third walks in late and they were all super slow with one of them not even knowing how to do nails unbelievable! The customer service that the lady provided no smile, dry sense of humor and rude when I walked in was awful! If you don't like your job, seek another one sweetheart!!! read more

I came here in the middle of the day and middle of the week. I got the Royale Pedicure. The lady who worked on me was amazing. Her massage was thorough, she knew how to work pressure points on my legs and was all around awesome. She was also gentle with her tools, which was nice because it usually feels uncomfortable to get your toenails scraped all over. I am definitely coming back!!! This place is clean, friendly, there's an ATM, they accept cards except for AMEX and Discover, they offer complimentary little bottles of water and they request you tip in cash. read more

I went here on a whim before I left for vacation. I had a dire toenail 911 and was a walk-in. These people not only helped me above and beyond what I thought they could, I was extremely happy with the result and will be a repeat customer as long as I can afford to do so. I had broken a toenail straight up the center almost to the point of bleeding and they were able to repair it with an acrylic nail and fill, plus a spa pedicure for $27, including tip. I was so pleased with the gentlemens' work (yes, I was tag-teamed by 2 guys, much 2 my chagrin), but also very happy to have sat in the most comfortable massage chair I have ever sat in IN MY LIFE!!!! It was exquisite that they had 1 walk-in customer in between servicing me, but I digress... The digs are decorated quite stylishly, with a huge flat screen to entertain your afternoon talk-show fix. But I have to admit that the best part of my visit there was the aftermath...it's been almost a month to the date of my last visit, and my big toenails have not only held up quite nicely, but they show no signs of chipping, which is insane by any salon's standards. Went to get my nails done and the First Lady made me take a seat then sat down and was on her phone talking. After she went to look at text messages for a couple mins. Later mid way she left and had her husband continue working on my nails. I realized that my thumbs didn't match so had to have him try to fix shape. Went to wash my nails & he left to help another lady so a young girl came to put polish on my nails. At this point I had 3 people work on my nails. Never coming hereagain!!!!! I came to get my eyelashe done and had no issues I, came back about one time to get a fill and they fell out quicker than normal. I went one last time for a fill and now the eyelashes are not falling out what so ever. They are stuck to my eyelash and not any kind of oil or anything will remove a lash. I have lost so many of my natural eyelashes and not to mention she never took her time and she put multiple fan lashes on a single lash. I ran into a couple of girls who had beautiful lashes and I asked them where they went and that is how I found Rose. She does an excellent job and I never have a problem loosing them. She is always on time and she is fast! I highly recommend Rose! A week ago I treated myself to a pedicure. I was a little concerned due to the shop just reopening since the Coronavirus... Love that they have the big full body massage chairs when you get a pedicure! It is so nice and relaxing, they play fun music that gets you jamming while you're there. I love it. I called to make an appointment and they got me right in, they girl who did my toes took her time and it was really nice to just chill and take a time out from life for a while. Everyone was super friendly and it was a nice fun environment. When you go inside, you sign in and they take your temperature. Everyone has to wear a mask as well. read more

I would not recommend coming here at all if are getting acrylic nails. I came here for the first time today because of my normal salon was busy and I didn't have time to wait. The guy who did my nails filed down the sides so much and made them look like a curve from the side? I have never seen the nails of that curve from the side. It is so ugly and hideous I am so upset. I just got this set put on & this is my first time getting a fill. So now I have to take them off and repeat all the money to put them back on. On top of all of that, the fill costed more money than it did at my normal salon. It costs $37 where normally I pay $32. I will not be returning back to the salon ever. read more

Maybe I just happened to have a bad experience here, but I'm in pain after my pedicure! First, while the guy was exfoliating my heel, he somehow rubbed my ankle raw!! I thought he was just gripping me too tightly, but when he put my foot down into the water after he was done, I felt a stinging, burning pain! When I brought it to his attention, he just looked at it and said something in a different language to his coworker and kept on working! I was there with my mom and sister, and I'm not one to make a big scene, so I just let him finish. But now, less than a week later, I have ingrown toenails!!!!! He must have cut my toenails incorrectly because I never get those! I'm an everyday sandals kind of girl. I don't wear tight shoes or high heels that would put pressure on my toes. I'm pretty ticked off, so I would definitely not recommend this place to a friend. But maybe I just got unlucky, you never know. read more

They started my daughter & I was soaking waiting for a manicurist to start me when another customer came in & was promptly started While I was still soaking & my daughter was almost finished. So I said that I would skip my pedicure since someone else was going get service ahead of me & my daughter would be done before I'm even started. I was told that the other woman was her customer and the other manicurist would be done soon & she would get to me then. OMG I really believed that the sign in sheet was there because it was first come first served but it was obvious she was a regular & they do play to favorites. Guess I don't frequent enough. I thought I was a customer. Well I hope I got my point across this was a very rude experience. I used to own a salon & I was appalled at the unprofessional customer service. There is one of these salons on every corner & I will find a new corner. Go somewhere else, pedicure was not that good, service was horrible & she reused a file on me which is a state board no no. Dirty....Rude and no Thank you...or appology for the long long wait. Oh and the big sign that they only accept tips in CASH....really?? I get my nails done here all the time. They've always done a great job on my manicures and pedicures. I've been to many other salons in the past and this place tops them all. I love that they actually spend time rubbing my feet and legs with my pedicure- its heaven. The place is very clean and they use new files and buffers every time and the tools are always clean. I've watched them bleach and scrub the pedi bowls after each use so I'm very comfortable here. They are Vietnamese and do spend a lot of time talking to each other but they always try to fill me in on what's being discussed so I never feel like they're talking about me. I came here for a mani/pedi on Friday afternoon. The staff was friendly and the location was clean. I asked for french tips on my nails and a solid color on my toes. The polish job on my toes was good but, the polish on my nails were spotty. The manicurist missed a few spots but, he corrected them quickly. I left happy. On Saturday, I notice air bubbles underneath my polish. Sloppy, sloppy job. On Sunday, six of the ten nails had chipped polish along with the air bubbles. That's it. I'm going back on Monday to get this fixed - a polish job should last more than two days. On Monday, I go back to the salon. I show the sloppy manicure to another one of the manicurists because the guy I saw on Friday was off. She tells me "Oh, french tips don't last more than one or two days on natural nails. They only last on acrylic or gel nails." BULLS**T. I've had french tips on my natural nails before - they last up to two weeks. At minimum, they last one week, not two days. Fine then, I tell her that I want the polish redone. Sensing that she isn't going to make any money on this job, she tries to sell me the gel manicure. I didn't budge because I already paid for a mediocre mani two days ago. She then drops the price of the gel manicure to the difference between what I paid on Friday and the price of the gel mani. I'm ok with that because I wanted to try the gel. When I tell her I want the french tips with the gel, she tries to up charge me. At this point, I get frustrated and let her know that I already paid for french tips on Friday and I'm not paying extra. She agrees. The second manicurist did a good job on the gel mani and this gel polish really lasts! However, I disliked the fact that they tried to blame their shoddy work on me and then try to charge me to fix it. *late review* I got eyelash extensions here, the absolute worst. For one, the lady got glue in my eye i was not blinking or making any movement like she had asked me not to, one eye is OBVIOUSLY heavier with lashes, then the other eye had lashes on top of my lash line (on my eye lid), i was expecting to be laid down with eye patches with all the normal procedures BUT that is not what happened. I walked in but it took 20 minutes which was understandable because i was a walk in, later she told me to go to the back and i was going to lay down but she told me to look up and handed me a tray with the lashes and she told me not to blink and started applying, i was shocked but i saw she had a certificate (which was out dated), like i said she poked me, my eyes were irritated, they were clumpy i wouldn't recommend at all, they looked good from far away but from talking distance it wasn't looking good. ...i had a special event to go to (prom)and honestly the eyelashes ruined it for me, 100% would not recommend. After time past i lost so many eye lashes and the ones on my lid actually hurt to take off (it was already coming off it was just hanging by a small bit of glue). read more

I have gone here since shortly after they opened. My daughter & I both go here. They r always friendly and make you feel relaxed. We enjoy going for a girls day too, as often as possible. Before any big event this is where my daughter goes for her touch ups. They do facial waxing also. Along with these services I know of manicures, pedicures, Acrylics and all the other types of nails. They are very up to date with the trends going on. My daughter and her friends like going here. They go in large groups and they are always accommodating.
