The service was absolutely terrible. It started with them burning my toe with a file, and I said 'ow that burns' and he kept doing it. My gel polish has already come off a day later and for my acrylics I am never one to say I don't like my nails to somebody but I asked him if he could change a color on my acrylics and he said let's just take them all off and started clipping my nails off and said 'it doesn't take two hours to do nails' even though I had only been there for 45 minutes. He was very rude and very unprofessional and I only saw two people who had actual cosmetology licenses and overall even my boyfriend said the vibe was terrible read more

They always do the best job at cleaning and trimming my nails. I've been here multiple times over the last 2-3 years and haven't had an issue. They do push gel so just be prepared to stand your ground if you only want polish. read more

I have used this nail place in the past and it was ok. Never Great but good enough to return most times when it was time for a fill. The last 6 month have been going down hill with ever changing prices at end of service, etc Today, John was my nail tech. He was rough and careless and used the electric drill and file so much my fingers are killing me. Before putting polish ON, he put straight Acetone on my nails!!! Then after one layer of polish, more acetone on the polish and the sides of my fingers.... ALL 10!!!! He repeated this step twice. I left with red puffy throbbing fingers. I as very underwhelmed by this place: service was disappointing and just an overall less than stellar experience. I will note that I am from Houston and my wife and go together to get pedicure once a month or so. Good for your feet and why not. So for $20 at this place they cut my nail, trimmed cuticles and gave a very quick massage. In and out in under 20 minutes. If you are main and want a buff it is an extra $5 even if you are not getting polish. Maybe this is the standard, but seems unnecessary. Another area of disappointment was I was interest in one of the better services and told the lady, but this never came to fruition. She did the basic service and said she was done. This was fine as I will already meh on the place. I will say the place was clean. read more

I asked the nail tech if he could do a design before he started and he said yes. After putting on the base color he attempted the design and it looked awful. I said I would rather not have the design at all but unfortunately the base color was already set (gel) they said if I wanted to change the color I would have to pay for an entire new service. Not sure how that's my fault when I asked the guy at the beginning if he could do the design and he said yes but then he couldn't?? Disappointed but not unexpected, the quality has been going downhill here for awhile. read more

So so so nice. Haven't had anything fancy done here but I loved my pedicure and my nails! It was a little bit pricey but the service was so fantastic and warm and welcoming that I felt like they went above and beyond to make me happy. I hope they stay in business for a long time. I've come here like five or six times over the years and have never been disappointed or had a misstep. I am extremely disappointed in the way I was treated today at this nail salon. I had my four month old son with me, in a baby carrier mind you, and he needed to eat, and even though it is legal to breastfeed in public in all 50 states, an employee brought out a large towel and attempted to cover my baby without my permission, scaring him and causing him to unlatch. I picked one of the fancier pedis with gel and it felt so rushed and half ass'd that I should have just paid for a basic one. Pedicures are expensive anyway so you figure they would do a better job. Also the man that did my pedicure was not careful at all and kept hurting my toes. One more thing..I wanted to use my debit card. Had an ok experience. Up until the lady doing my nails dropped the tool she was using on the floor.. picked it up and continued to use it- which typically I would have made a huge deal about but I honestly wasn't in the mood. So I validated it by telling myself "it's fine it just fell on the floor for a second" or "the floor looks clean?". But yeah- it bothered me.. and made me question how clean this place actually is? Do they even wash their tools in between guests? Yikes.. Then when it came time to pay, she gave me back a $5 bill for my change & I asked her to change it to singles & she acted like she didn't understand me- and pocketed my $5 bill.. ok cool. This is my second trip to Steri Nails. The first time I came was because I'd gotten a staph infection that could have been contributed to having had a pedicure at another salon so the name caught my eye. I wanted that extra assurance of sterile tools and tub. The pedicure I got the first time was "nice". I had an injury on one of my calfs so I know that he would not be massaging that calf, but he barely even massaged my feet and other leg. Great polish job and I was on my merry way. Now I've decided I wanted artificial nails again, but only if I could find someone that did silk wraps because they are much thinner and it's easier to pick things up with them. I looked them up online and they do provide the service so when I asked for it, the manicurist said I would have to wait until this other male manicurist could do it. So I got my pedi and waited for him to finish with another client. I told him I wanted silk and he said "no, no, acrylic thin too." Even though I knew better I let him do acrylics. Then talked me into gels on top. I chose a bright red but the gel red is too transparent and you can see my natural nails underneath. One thing I really hate is when I ask for something and you say yes I can do that and then still go about doing what you want. I won't be going back even though the people are friendly. read more

I went in for a mani pedi. I asked for a half color design with half glitter on one toe. The designs weren't even at all. I figured i could fix it at home. For my nails i got a simple french tip but to my dismay they were super uneven and running. I got charged $55 for everything overall and still tipped. I had to redo everything at home. read more

Such a an amazing experience. I had been one before so when nail Salons we're allowed to open I knew this is where I wanted to get my toes done. I call a day before and made an appointment. It's by appointment only unless they have an opening. I would make an appointment just to save you a wait. Everything is social distance and plexiglass at the stations. Each station is cleaned before being used. They take your temperature at the door and you sign a wavier about Covid19. Stating your acknowledgment of risk. That's normal now. I'll be back for sure! This place is exactly what you get for the price. They get the job done, but not how you might want it. I got an acrylic/gel manicure fill 3 weeks ago and the manicurist was doing a fantastic job until halfway through the polish, a group of ladies walk in. Suddenly she does a rush job to get my nails done. Some of my nails didn't come out smooth. They were bumpy like something got caught in the polish and other nails polish was never smoothed out evenly. I didn't catch it until after I left. When I went to get the nails removed, they didn't use a bowl of acetone or any acetone. He drilled off the color (like normal) then just picked off the acrylic off my nail! This was my first time getting acrylic off and so I didn't know otherwise. It wasn't until after, that my mom was shocked they didn't use acetone. I did some google searches and it's actually important to use acetone to make the fake nail softer and have it come off easier. I would say 3 stars for design - average 2 stars for acrylic removal read more

PSA announcement: I don't usually write reviews. The last 3 reviews I have done were raving about the wonderful service I had received. But today I had the WORST service EVER....and I felt it would be unjust to the public if I didn't write the following. I walked into an empty nail shop and figured I'd give it a shot. I was helped by a guy who didn't give me his name. From the beginning he seemed irritated that I wasn't getting gel. He showed me the menu of services and then when I said no gel, he quickly took the menu away from me and started speaking in his language. Frustrated. He spent almost NO time on my pedi. After he did the callus remover he threw the stone into the water right at my shin!!! He took my cuticles off so roughly...I have patches of skin peeling that are away from my cuticles. He wasn't even looking at what he was removing. Literally 15 mins later, he moved me to his 'nail station.' I was unable to sit on the spa chair because I wouldn't get gel. The nail station was worse. First thing he said...'why don't you do gel?? It's better.' I said no my don't like gel. He mumbled something in his language pulled my hands roughly towards him and continued picking around my nail bed (pics I will post) you can see he wasn't even getting my cuticles!! He rushed and rushed...then 'finishing' my nails he said 'now you go sit by the outside chairs' As I sat there, I noticed my nail looking beyond horrid. I walked back to him to get his attention. He ignored me. I was going to walk out but I thought no, if he saw this he wouldn't even let me leave in the condition my nails were in. So I went back over to him, to show him. Without saying anything, he got up for doing the next customers pedicure and took me to his nail station. He said 'what's wrong?' I said 'you can't you see what's wrong???' He said 'oh it's just the top coat.' Put the top coat on one nail and got up. I said it's on all the nails...'look.' He sighed out loud....and sat down abruptly. At that point I had been beyond patient...vocalizing my issues without any resolution. I just got up and left. Honestly I wish I didn't tip and I'm going to see if I can dispute this charge on my credit card. If I can save someone a trip here...my time spent writing this has been well spent. Just look at he pics...yes...he saw my nails and let me walk out with them like this. His only comment to me was...that's why you should have done gel!!! What?!?? There is no way I would have spent an extra $35 dollars on top of such terrible service. Lesson learned...I will never step foot in here again!! read more

Dishonest and rude. I always pay $30 for a fill and $10 for the painting of my 8 year old daughters nails and toes. Today, without telling me prices were raised, they charged me $35 for my fill and $20 for my daughters nails!!!! Terrible service, very rude employees, attendant finish my pedicure in 15' didnt even look like I had a pedicure. I was very upset when I noticed how bad my nails look, One Male attendant came to me very aggressive like he was to push me out of the facilitywhen I was trying to express what a bad job was done on y nails. I felt humiliate among all employees. I was the only customer there. Now I wonder why. There was. Nobody else waiting, They really should of never treated me the way they did. Peter did such an amazing job, he was very detailed and shaped my nails to perfection. Other salons have been nightmares sometimes and I always leave picking at the skin around my nails because something is always wrong. But I can explain how happy I am with the result. I came in with some messed up acrylic nails from another place and he was able to fix and shape them and make them look like some professional Kylie Jenner looking nails. I had a basic mani and it was the worse one I have had in my 30 years of getting my nails done. My daughter had her acrylic taken off with a mani. The guy was rude and ripped them off. She even slapped this hand and said to stop. My husband had a pedi and the old lady cut up his toes. I now remember why I never went back when they first open their doors years ago. They don't massage you, they rush you out, and they don't do a good job. read more

I stopped in on my lunch today to make an appointment for when I got off work, and they were able to fit me in. I didn't catch the gentleman who did my nails, but he took so much time and care into cleaning my cuticles up, gently filing because I said I have sensitive nails, and matched up all my nails with both hands so they were all symmetrical and perfect (you would think most places would do this but the other 8 places I've been to haven't, and get grumpy when you ask) and he understood when I said to leave them unpolished so I can polish them at home. 11/10 I'll be coming back for my fills again and again! I just left this place 5 minutes ago and I was only there for 35 min. I took my 5 year old for a nail and pedi polish so her and I could enjoy a nice evening but the experience was horrible! Let me first begin by saying how the man that helped me was very irritated to begin with, I chose my color and he had already started me on one foot when he said the color I had chosen was too light for my skin. So he changed the color to a darker one that I didn't even like. By the time he got to my daughter he was already very frustrated and remember I mention she's only 5 years old!!! He was taking the glitter off her little toes in a very rude way which made her twitch out of pain and kept telling her not to move. Now if he would have been gentle on her little toes she wouldn't have been moving to begin with. He then had the nerve to tell her if she moved one more time he would call the cops on her!!! What kind of disgusting human being would say such thing to a 5 year old. It was the worse experience for her and me. I am very angry and I wanted to slap him so bad but it's best I tell you guys to be careful with this rude motherfucker who kept complaining and had such a bad attitude with both us. I could have taken anything but the way he treated my 5 year old was absolutely ridiculous. This is by far the worse place I have ever been to. I believe he is either the manager or the owner of that place. I paid $53.00 for horrible pedicure and customer service. Please don't go to this place with your little girls.
