I thought I had finally found a place that would not tear my hair to shreds. But Heather did that. I have thick wavy hair I spent 5 months w her growing out bad layers bad thinning asked for trim my hair was butchered and apparently thin hair molded to my head is good. Can't style it she said oh I won't texturize it again why was it done horribly in the first place? Why would you think and texturized hair into straight flat straggly hair when I asked for a trim? What? My hair sucks I have been embarrassed to go out for 6 weeks to have her brush off her terrible haircut as nothing. And now that last for at least 5 months. Why doesn't she have someone cut her hair like she did mine and see what that feels like. read more

Called in as a walk in. She said come in an hour, I should be done with my customer. The lady was not done and a different lady washed my hair. The inital lady, however, started on a different customer. Rude. Anyways, I liked the lady who did my hair. She made conversation, asked me what I wanted/expected and gave me recommendations. She did have a customer with an appointment who came in the middle of my appointment. She acknowledged her and she gladly waited. For shampoo recommendations, she handed me off to the owner who went over the products with me. Very nice. Atleast the last 2 people I encountered were professional. Im glad I didn't have to go with the inital lady who answered the phone. read more

The owner is so nice here and I am always in checking out hair product. Not a huge selection but, good stuff. You can try a sample if you ask and if they have one available. I made a hair appt once and the stylist canceled for personal reasons and I never rescheduled. Was not feeling it anymore but that seems to happen in this city it seems, more often than not. The salon is in a great location off Calloway with lots of parking. It is a small salon but usually busy enough. read more

I called the salon on a Thursday, the call went to voicemail. By the end of the day I received a lovely return call from the owner of the salon herself. I told her I was in town to care for a sick parent and needed an appointment...whenever. By the end of our talk I had an appointment for the following morning with Lexi, described as a talented stylist. I was not disappointed. I loved Lexi's persona and her skill. I was her very early first customer and I couldn't be happier. I can see why this salon is rated so highly. read more

When I am in Bakersfield I go here to have my haircut. The one thing that I really like about this salon is that they deal with all hair types (curly, straight, Afro, etc) The owner, Ms Carla, is very nice along with the rest of the staff. read more

Michelle is awesome ~ she listens to what I want and always delivers! She takes into consideration that I have very fine hair and weaves it accordingly. She teaches me how to style, etc. and recommends products for my hair type. Michelle weaved my hair today and the color is absolutely perfect. I love it. The salon is great as well. I came here for a keratin straightening treatment. There is only one lady that is licensed to do them I believe. She was good. She did a thorough job and I loved the result. She said it should last about 4 months. Thats about right, I feel like it didn't last quite that long for me but I definitely probably wash my hair too much. It was also kind of a lot of money. 2 weeks after my hair had been colored by Michelle O., It had faded to pink! And I'd only washed it 3 times. When I called her she seemed like she didn't really want to fix it (she offered to tell me what to buy at Sally's), but then she agreed to have me come in. Color fixed, all good to go! I scheduled an appointment for 4 weeks out. About a week later she called and asked if I was coming in that day for my appointment. I had no idea what she was talking about and I told her that there had to be a mix-up given that I'd just been in (I later realized that she must have written the appointment in the wrong month). She let me know that she'd bought my color and had come in on her day off. I sincerely apologized, but I had just been in the week before. She rescheduled me again for late May and that was the end of our conversation. And now she has ghosted me, which I find seriously unprofessional. I'm going to give a great review if deserved, but don't drop me as a client because of something not my fault and expect a good review. Sorry. read more

I'm giving this salon two stars only because it's pretty, clean and comfortable -- that's the only positive thing I can say about it. I went there for 3 months or so and almost every time I was there for 4-4.5 hours because the stylist would stack 6 people at a time (my old hair stylist never took more than 2 hours to do my hair ) The assistant did pretty much everything -- washing, drying and straightening, and the stylist would just straighten the edges and curl it. Then they started cancelling or changing my appointments at the last minute. First a retouch, then I was supposed to come in for a weave but she cancelled that because her "braider wasn't free". And here I am, almost a week later and I still haven't gotten a call from them to reschedule that appointment. I've made an appointment elsewhere. Oh and I should mention they also did an amazing job at straightening my hair, it was BONE straight. So that's one other positive. read more

I've been getting my hair cut by Mony ever since I was 12, I'm now 22 and whenever I go home I make a point to see her at CEO Salon because she always does an impeccable job. I'm really particular about how I want my hair done and rarely trust people with my hair. But with Mony, for years now she never disappoints. I don't even have to really tell her how I want my hair cut because she always remembers-- even though it's been months since I've seen her. She really has a good eye for what hairstyle looks great with each person and she really does take the time to ensure it's exactly how you envisioned it. Very gentle-handed, it's always a treat getting my hair done. She even curled my hair and with the layers it cascades seamlessly. Wow! An unbelievable experience. I badly needed a haircut and was waiting for my regular guy to "cut me up." He wasn't available. Driving past this place I had remembered what two other friends told me about the CEO Salon and how good they are. I brushed it off and chalked it up to office gossip (girl stuff). When the females in your office tell you that you need a hair cut, believe it. But me not wanting to hear anything about a salon, I just wasn't feeling it. Well to make a long story short, I went there not expecting much and was totally surprised. This place is very clean. The employees have clean uniforms, are well groomed, and really know their profession. I was totally shocked. This place has everything! Before I decided to get my hair cut, I sat back and chilled for a while watching the customers leave as they finished their appointsments. Not one customer left with a frown on his/her face, and gladly paid the very reasonable price to look good. These people didn't just look good, they looked great. I wanted to look great as well so I got my hair cut by a professional (Male) Barber - Steven Crofton. I was truly amazed by the way he handled young 3 -7 year old boy's getting a hair cut. Fantastic people skills (young and old). Wow! What a fantastic job. I look like a million bucks, and that's after taxes (LoL). This is one of those few times where customers (you and I) actually look forward to leaving a tip. It was well worth the time, and low, low price. I don't normally leave feedback for establishments, but this time was a must. This place is the place to get a very stylish, yet professional looking hair cut. On a scale of 1 - 10, CEO Salon gets a 25. To my friend who normally cuts my hair, sorry but I will be getting my hair cut at the CEO Salon from now on. These guy's are just that good. read more

I have been going here for my haircuts . I go to Michelle. She's really good. She did an excellent job with the keratin smoothing treatment . My hair was noticeably smoother and easier to style . I am going for the 3rd time tomorrow. Also they chairs they have for the hair washing stations are the most comfortable in town. No neck straining . The prices are a bit on the high side and no kids allowed . Which are both understandable. Still my hair salon of choice. read more

My experience at this salon was AWFUL! I went there for a hair color appt. I wanted highlights as well as an all over color through my hair. I went in for a four o'clock appt and left at 9pm! My stylist colored my hair, put me under a dryer and squeezed her 5pm appt in....Well, that 5pm appt ended up getting my stylists attention while I uwas stuck under the dryer forever. The 5pm appt was finished by 6pm and I was still sitting wiith color on my head at that time. The stylist could not achieve the right color through my hair for some reason...At 8pm, she asked if I could just go home with wet hair. I typically don't like to upset people, but I was going to dinner with my husband that night, so I said no I needed my hair dry and styled, which was what I had asked for when I made the appt. All I wanted was color, highlights, and dry/styled hair. Well, she reluctantly styled my hair, After she dried it, I asked if my hair looked grey to her...she said no, it was just the contrast of the colors. Well, when I got home the first thing my husband said was...wow, your hair is grey! The next day, I called and told her I needed it corrected, she said she was busy but I could come in the following week. I said I needed it fixed because I had family coming from out of town...once again, she hesitated but squeezed me in. The whole time I was there for the second time, she made it clear to me, she did not want to do my hair that day, she had other clients to work with. Needless to say, that day I left with wet hair since I was a inconvenience to her. After all was said and done, I have highlights that are completly uneven and a poor taste in my mouth for this salon. Maybe it was just my experience but, it left a strong enough impression on me to warn other people of this place. I have never felt like such a bother to a stylist. I will not say her name, as I know this is her profession and she seems to be a decent person, but seriously customer service skills were lacking in my situation. read more
