Ashley was great until a complaint. It has been awhile since I stopped going for eyelash extensions but figured some people would find this review helpful. I got my lash extended by Ashley few time maybe 4 visits(?), she was great! after that last visit, I came home and noticed some lashes were stuck with each other and no lashes were put on the edges of each eyes.. no big deal, I reached out to Ashley texted her what I noticed and sent her pictures of my eyes.... No reply.. just ignored. So I stopped going, there was no reason trying anymore after realizing I been going to someone unprofessional. ‍ read more

My sister went to see Laura at Bella Lash to get her Eyebrows tattooed and she loved loved the work done by Laura. I drove all the way from Sacramento, ca to get my eyebrows tattooed and OMG I was NOT disappointed. Laura did a beautiful job, I liked that she explained the process and it was clear, we worked together until I was happy with the stencil. I had very little eyebrows and had to pencil them in everyday, Now I look fabulous every day all night and day. I highly recommend Laura super profesional and knows what she is doing. Lashes and only lashes. And I love that. No loud blow dryers going off all the time. No stinky fumes of perms and bleach wafting through the air. No salon drama and gossip girls. All of this may seem really insignificant, but I swear it all builds up when you're laying in the same place for 2ish hours. My first visit with Megan was seamless. I inquired via Yelp and they were super prompt and polite. I made an appt and called to secure a deposit. It wasn't ideal to make a deposit but it's not a manicure so I can understand. Just be prepared if you're a first-timer. The bed was super comfy. There was even a fluffy pink blanket to drape over yourself. Needless to say, I caught myself falling asleep several times! Your first visit will take about two hours - depending on your needs and your lash type. I opted for the Volume lash since I was headed to Coachella. Because why not!? Two hours went by quickly and just like that, I was a gorgeous lash batting beauty! My lashes stuck around like champs, especially considering how rough I was on them. It's important to follow with recommended lash care - they'll give you the full lowdown on aftercare. Basically, no touchy-touchy for 12 hours (or forever...) use the little wand they provide to comb them when needed. No water. I try to avoid it when washing my face but that's really hard. I will admit, I did get a bit of a reaction to the glue after my appointments. And they when they started to grow out. Unfortunuately, as is the case with all eyelash extensions they can cause a lot of breakage and lash removal if you aren't careful. So even though I may not necessarily opt for extensions in the future, I will look into dying and perming my lashes as an alterntive. read more

Bella Lash is the nicest lash boutique in Bakersfield! I first went to Alex for a lash lift, because I was nervous about extensions (I get anxiety about anything coming close to my eyes). The lash lift turned out beautiful! I'm not one to wear make up often so lashes help me feel more put together without having a lot of make-up. So, months after the lift, I was finally ready to try classic extensions. Of course, I went back to Alex. She made me feel so comfortable and explained everything I would need to know from the process of putting them on, to after care. They turned out beautifully! I was referred to Lidia through one of her clients after admiring her lashes! It doesn't surprise me other people I know also use Lidia. She was very prompt to respond and book me. Bella Lash Boutique is very cute, clean, and the receptionist was friendly and greeted me, offering me something to drink as I waited for Lidia (I was a little early). Once Lidia was ready, I was made comfortable and even fell asleep a couple times (oops!). When I arrived, I was not greeted. Both girls up front looked at me when i walked in and continued to talk without saying anything to me. I was finally acknowledged and asked who i had an appointment with. they told me she wasn't there yet so i waited. 30 minuets later she still had not showed up. I'm so pleased with my lashes!!! I have sensitive skin and a list of allergies, after discussing these issues with the management and a lash artist we concluded to do tests on me. After multiple tests we were confident to book a full set. Yesterday I left Bella Lash with the most beautiful set of lashes I've ever had. I booked my next 2 appointments with that artist and I'm so excited about my results. The staff is friendly and everything you need to maintain your lashes is available in the salon.
