After searching every picture of the permanent makeup artists from Bakersfield to LA (Lancaster, Palmdale, Santa Clarita, Hollywood, and Marina Del Rey), I finally booked an appointment with Laura. There wasn't a lot of pictures on her page but almost every picture showed good work so I went for it. I'm so happy with the combo brows she did for me! Laura was very patient with drawing and redrawing the shape to make sure I was perfectly comfortable before she started. She took her time and did an excellent job with the powder and microblading. First off I would not given any stars but unfortunately in order to post review you have to give at least one. I do not recommend microblading from Laura. I had my eyebrows done oct 7 2019 and here it is dec 30 2019 and no eyebrows to show for the $325 I paid for except for a few faded black dots on either side. And she had the nerve to say she would do the touch up for $75 more!! When I told her that she offered to do the touch up for free... Now why would I let her touch my eyebrows again when she did a lousy job the first time?!! Go elsewhere and pay $500 for decent eyebrows done correctly the first time!!! read more

Unfortunately, I went to Laura and she did a terrible job on my eyebrows. My eyebrows were uneven! She kept promising that she would correct the mistake but it never happened. I was very disappointed. She kept canceling my appointments due to migraines. If you schedule an appointment with Laura, I hope your lucky enough she does a great job! I looked around for someone I could trust with my eyebrows before finding Laura, and I am happy I did. She gave my heart some ease because she was educated and took the time to explain everything to me. She took her time drawing up my eyebrows and picking my color. When we started, I was surprised because she has such a light hand. I mean it hurt, but it wasn't too bad. When I was done, they were a little dark, but they faded to this pretty brown. I have been going to Laura for my eyebrows for about a year now. She always does exactly what I ask, even if it isn't what is within the realm of what she normally does. My prior Microblading artist had ideas about the ways "all" brows work, and she refused to make adjustments for people like me with EXTREMELY oily skin. Us very oily folks have the misfortune of faster fading of results and also eye-brow microblading strokes that tend to blend together. My original brow artist thought all clients should see her only twice per year, once for the full microblading and then again six weeks later for a touch-up. With Laura, she made special accommodations and pricing to accommodate more frequent visits. I am at a point now where my brows are staying longer and I don't need to see her as often, I have Laura to thank for that. I also have somewhat unusual taste in the way I like my brows, I prefer a shorter "tail" and thinner brows than what is popular right now. Laura has no problem styling my brows the way I like them, and she never tries to pressure me into going along with a trend that I don't like. Laura also takes her time to get the job done to perfection and she looks at the brows from all different angles (above, below, & straight-on).
