If you're looking for a cute Korean and family-owned cafe that sells sweet treats, this is the place! My friend and I arrived on a Saturday evening, and it was busy! There's lots of seating indoors as well as outdoors, but many families and friends were going in and out or stopping by for taiyaki ice cream, shaved ice, and teas. Our cashier was kind at the register and patient when we took our time to order. We eventually settled on the Sweet Sunset regular which featured strawberries, mango, ice cream, and strawberry puree. Service was pretty fast. The shaved ice dessert was very refreshing with fresh fruit and a medium size ran us ~$13. They also had a variety of cookies shaped as Sanrio characters that I was tempted to buy. The price was a little steep for a dessert (for my liking), but honestly, everything seems expensive nowadays. They also had seasonal items on the menu that were not displayed on the main menu, so definitely ask about those if you're interested. Otherwise, this place is nice to catch up with friends and a good excuse to treat yourself, if you're wanting to go out and buy a nice dessert in a cute cafe-ambiance.
Ordered through DoorDash, took some time to receive but it was worth the wait. Drinks were good and the strawberry cheesecake snow was really good. I also got the fish bun with Nutella and I should have got 2 because it was so good! Will definitely order from here again or will stop by in person when in the area.
This is a great spot to grab a little sweet treat after a meal in the area. My usual go to items at this spot are, the mango passion tea with lychee jelly for drinks, vanilla soft serve in either a fish cone or a cup, and anything mango for the bing su if I go with others who want to share. Their bing su never misses, always fluffy and generous in toppings. It is also very refreshing with the right amount of sweetness in every bite. What I really enjoy about this place is that even though their menu isn't that extensive, they have a little something for everyone's taste buds, ranging from not too sweet to tooth achingly sweet. Prices are also reasonable. Overall, service here has always been friendly and patient. Unlike other dessert shops in the area, this place offers lots of indoor seating options with minimal seating outdoors to accommodate both small and large groups. Unfortunately, sometimes when we come here, cleanliness of the seating area is not always the best.
The pricing was more than fair for the delicious treats. The mini Taiyaki fish are so so good- but get the custard. The blueberry cream cheese and Nutella pale in comparison. The mochi fruit snow was delicious and generously portioned. The fish cone ice cream is so good- the best matcha ice cream I've ever had. Would definitely regularly come back here.
My sister took me here for my birthday an d WOW!! The flavors of the strawberry cheesecake snow is amazing!!! So fresh and not heavy at all. The taiyaki with the red bean is so yummy! We also had the blueberry cheesecake stuffed one and my sister really enjoyed it! I was able to taste my sisters Oreo flavored snow before she devoured it but wasn't the biggest fan. I will definitely be returning seeing as this is the best dessert I've ever had!!
Snowtime is hands down my favorite dessert place. I come here every time I go eat out with my friends and have introduced all of them to this amazing place. The ice cream is my go to. I love how they have other things on the menu so everyone I come with can always get something they like. Also the service is always amazing. I have not once experienced a bad time here and I've been coming here for YEARS. You can probably tell by how many pictures I have that I genuinely LOVE this place
I wanted to try some sweet desserts like ice cream and shaved ice or snow after an afternoon of eating, shopping, and walking around in the city of Chandler, AZ. I know... did I not get enough earlier LOL. Nope, I always welcome more unless I truly can't fit anymore food in my tummy. Snowtime is within the same plaza as unPhogettable, Heavenly Bakeshop, Lee Lee International Supermarket, and Urbanh Cafe (yes, these are the other shops we visited on the same day LOL). I was hoping to have a wonderful visit here at Snowtime, but unfortunately, it was just okay. Upon entry, we were greeted right away. The menu was off to the left side from the counter versus right behind it. It didn't appear as though we were in line. Anyway, my eldest daughter chose Expresso Snow... it has a coffee base and some toppings on top. It's not the best snow dessert that I've ever eaten. I actually did not care for it. The scoop of ice cream was yummy though. By the time we got to the bottom of the cup, it was just expresso flavored ice. They also sell taiyaki... we didn't get any because we were actually stuff from lunch, but Mommy just wanted some ice cream LOL. Staff was okay. Prices were decent. Ambiance was bright, clean, and inviting. They have lots of indoor and some outdoor seatings. I probably would return here to try their other snows. Hopefully, they have better ones to my liking.
Honestly would not recommend the berry peachy (left). I got it cause I like most peachy teas, but this one tasted like medicine. The strawberry latte (right) cleansed the pallet. Was sweet but not too sweet, happy I could get dairy free milk too. Which they had more dairy free options (it's hard out hear for the lactose intolerant community, we are trying our best)

Found this place on a top 50 places to eat in Phoenix Yelp Collection. So glad I decided to come here first. We must have come at the right time. It was packed when we walked out the door. The place is modern and clean, connected with a conveyer belt sushi bar next door, it's literally one stop shop for dinner and dessert. I ordered the Vanilla and Matcha swirl ice cream in a fish cone, with mochi bites and a macaroon, custard inside. I was expecting the flavors to be over sweetened, I was completely wrong. These people know what they are doing. Not too sweet, perfect flavor and easily my new favorite dessert. The fish cone is not the standard hard waffle cone, it's a well baked version of a pancake. Crispy on the outside, and chewy in the middle. Hold the ice cream like a pro with no leaks like a standard ice cream cone. I finished with a Thai tea, and it was refreshing. Try the tiramisu snow, so light, and delicate. Loved both bites I had. Price is a bit steep, but like any high commodity, it comes with demand. There are many other options that were neat to see on the menu. Will be returning again on date night. read more

This place is amazing! The ice cream is absolutely wonderful! I was never a really big fan of taiyaki, but I still ate it when I was still living in California since all my friends enjoyed eating it. They serve regular food as well as coffee, and the taiyaki. I've tried both the taiyaki with custard and red bean, and while the custard is good, the red bean is definitely the best way to go. You can't go wrong with the ice cream flavors they have, but I am pretty vanilla when it comes to ice cream, and I usually get vanilla (lol), or matcha. They also allow you to have some other small sides such as oreo shavings and almonds. It's a shame that this place is so far from where I currently live, but maybe it is a good thing, because if I lived closer, I know I'd be coming here a lot more. read more

And since the first time I've come back another 4to 5 more times for the taro ice cream. I'm a sucker for it. One time they ran out of taro ice cream that I had to get an alternative: the black sesame ice cream. It was good but not as good as taro. I tried the red bean filling with the taro and thought it was decent but I keep going back to my usual of custard filling. And I've tried the mini mochi topping and macaroon toppings but still like my usual black sesame dust and yellow gold dust. Mmm taro ice cream cravings for a long while now. :) read more

Pros: this place is reasonably priced, desserts are instagrammable, you can't go wrong with shaved ice and soft serve! I like how the shaved ice comes in 3 sizes! The small is perfect for one person, medium is a really decent size for 2 (3 if you don't want too much, and the large is definitely good for sharing! The soft serve is thick and creamy, they switch up the flavors you can swirl as well! Cons: I wanted to get the "fruitlicious" bowl but switch one of the fruits to mango, the employee said yes and the owner immediately ran over and told her no substitutions unless there's an allergy reason. I ended up having to make my own shaved ice which cake with less toppings for a little more money. The shaved ice was OK, the ice was too fine and melted quickly. The taiyaki was stale, hard, and cold. The ice cream was good but this was not enjoyable at all. The "filling" was so thin you could barely taste it. read more

Came to see what the killer reviews are all about! Sparkling clean and inviting space, for starters. They have a sandwich board sign out front that gives an overview of what/how to order, which was neat. Inside, the signs are all really cute and well-written. May seem like a small detail, but there are a LOT of options here, so this made me feel less intimidated trying to order! We ordered a (fish) cone with matcha green tea ice cream, custard filling in the cone, and sprinkled with "Golden Dust" (soy bean powder). It was also decorated with cute little mini mochi. Oh, we also ordered a plain vanilla cone for our pup! While the treat was great, the cone was the best part! It has much more substance to it than a typical sugar cone, and was almost a cross between a cone/cookie/bread. Yum! It was rather messy though, because the way it's designed, the ice cream can easily drip down the sides where the cone is lower. So grab a lot of napkins! Overall, we liked this place a lot, and it was suuuper busy during our visit on a weeknight, so evidently others do too! It is pretty spendy for a frequent treat, but we will definitely be back! read more
The fish cones are such a fun dessert for a date night! I haven't tried anything else on the menu because I can't resist the chewy soft fish cone/buns! I love the taro ice cream and the Nutella stuffed cone. My husband loves the fruity pebbles fish bun. The cones are a bit pricey, around $6 each but it's a unique treat for a switch in the normal date night treat! read more
I went back to Snowtime almost a year after my initial review. My opinions of Snowtime hasn't really changed. I guess that's a good thing! I don't think this place is the greatest dessert place but the aesthetics and vibes are cute, and the options are pretty unique compared to other dessert places in the valley. They are also pretty good. I got the fish cone ice cream dessert this time. I love how the ice cream look and just makes for a cute dessert overall! Inclusive in the fish cone is your selection of filling, ice cream flavor and the two toppings, all of which were included in the price of $6. I chose Nutella, topped with vanilla ice cream with a strawberry and mochi on the top. If I go back, I'll probably get the matcha ice cream. Go get your insta pic! read more

Snowtime had been on my list for the longest time before my friend and I realized that we needed to drop by and grab a fish cone with ice cream to satisfy all our SomiSomi type cravings. We came by on a weekday around 3:00 pm and were able to order pretty quickly, not too much of a crowd. We did have to wait a bit for our orders because the fish cones were being made right after we ordered them. I grabbed the vanilla taro swirl in a fish cone with custard and some oreo dust on top and my friend had the same except his filling was red bean and he opted for a different topping. We both loved the consistency of the soft serve and it honestly tasted delicious and refreshing. The fish cone was good but a little more doughy than we'd both wanted. Service was sweet and there are definitely some yummy bingsu offerings that I will be back to try! Drop by if you want some delicious desserts or something refreshing to beat the AZ heat. read more

Nice Little Shaved Ice & Treat Spot This is a newer treat shop in the Lee Lee Asian Shopping Plaza area. Located on the end of the strip mall near Dobson road. The staff is friendly, the treats are tasty and the atmosphere is clean. Prices are average and if you get the large shaved ice it will fill you totally! I'd been to Somi Somi a few months ago and I loved it. So I was so excited when I saw that Snowtime was nearby. I wanted to get a matcha/vanilla swirl but that wasn't one of their swirl options for the day so I went with the black sesame/vanilla swirl and it was so good! I got it topped with oreo crumbs and a macaron in a red bean filled fish cone. It came out really quickly and it looked so pretty! And it tasted amazing too. It's getting hot so this is the perfect treat. I went after dinner time and it was very popular. I would definitely come back!! read more
My new go to dessert spot! The soft serve ice cream is my favorite! The matcha and matcha/taro swirl are both my favorites on the menu. It comes with your choice of filling in the fished shaped cone. My go to is the Nutella flavor. You get two toppings of your choice. I like the coconut flakes and Oreo crumbles. They have a lot of different items to try on the menu that I definitely will be trying more of. read more

Just arrived back from a five-night trip last night, and after getting my massage today, I couldn't wait to return for a second visit to Snowtime! I enjoyed my small serving of Black Sesame (#S2) snow the first time, I thought I'd already posted my four-star review, and I was just going to upload more photos from today, but I see I haven't composed a review, so let me remedy this right now-- thank goodness Snowtime provides free, and strong, Wi-Fi! The black sesame snow consisted of vanilla soft serve with a downpour of black sesame (I'm not complaining!), injeolmi dust (which I just looked up is made with glutinous rice- a no-no for me!), homemade red bean, and almond flakes. Menu description includes mochi, but I asked for that to be omitted, since I'm allergic to rice. The combo was still amazing! I normally have terrific control when eating entrees and sweets- I eat half, or less, and take leftovers home. If the subject is frozen dessert, I like to share, or just throw the rest away. Hey, it's either the trash bin, or my hips... If I don't watch my figure, no one else will. ;) Well, I ate the whole thing, and the size small here is a good portion- enough for two size Aileens. ;) I left Snowtime knowing what I wanted to try on my return visit. Thirteen days later, I'm back again and this time, I'm trying the fish cone, since I've been craving red bean taiyaki for months. According to the menu, I get my choice from four soft-serve flavors (well, six, if you count the swirls of chocolate and vanilla and matcha and taro), a choice from red bean, nutella, and custard filling, and two choices of toppings, so it's the matcha/taro swirl, the red bean, and a dusting of black sesame and coconut flakes, please! All of these selections are stuffed into a golden and crispy puff of a fish cone. Enjoy the delightful pics and then get yourself one, or three now! P.S. I ate all of the fish, the red bean filling, and most of the soft serve swirl... Looking forward to my next visit! read more

Holy crap this is good! We tried a fish cone with just Nutella it was delicious!!! Then we tried custom coconut snow with banana, chocolate, coconut flakes and brownie bites and it was AMAZING. Definitely a hidden gem I now have to come to every time I come to Phoenix! The owner lady and all the staff were super friendly and so sweet. read more

We just happened upon this place one night when we were looking for a new dessert to try. It's now my absolute FAVORITE PLACE! There are so many things on the menu I still want to try, but the past couple times I just HAD to get the Soft Serve in a Fish Pocket! My husband loves the Matcha ice cream with a red bean filling and Mochi(and sometimes fruit) . My favorite is Vanilla ice cream, Nutella filling, and sprinkles(and sometines a macaron too). So, I'm not a huge fan of ice cream usually. So when we came here the first time I really didn't think I was going to care for it that much. But after my first bite, I couldn't eat it fast enough (which is not something I normally do). The fish pocket is so amazing. Crispy on the outside, soft abd fluffy on the inside. And Ooooomg, it's warm. So beware because the ice cream can melt a little fast. We ate outside the first time here and I'm glad we did because we both got ice cream all over ourselves. The second time I came prepared with paper plates from home. The third time I noticed you can get a cup to put it in. That really does help if you're not a super fast eater. The ice cream is so perfect. Rich and smooth, and they have a lot of neat toppings you can try. Mochi, Pocky, Macarons, Taro Dust... They're menu has a lot of yummy things that we still want to try but everytime we go, I can't seem to resist getting the soft serve. Seriously, you've gotta try this place. It's sooooo good. My sweet tooth was insistent about trying something new and cold and all paths led to Snowtime. For that I am thankful. And so were my sugar-seeking comrades. I have never EVER had shaved ice like this. I had the Tira-Miss-You and it truly hit the spot. It was so good it will be hard to order something else when I go back. And I will. Soon. It took awhile for me to finally make it in but very glad I finally came to try a different spot for snow. With the large menu and many custom toppings to choose from, I went with the special miss-you matcha as to not overwhelm myself. The vanilla snow wasn't as exciting as other flavored snows I've had from different local Phoenix spots but the toppings made up for it. The matcha dust and tiramisu cake were new toppings I had never tried or seen before. Definitely want to try the fish cones next time, they look amazing. read more

I usually come here to get their Nutella fishes or their fish cones. Warm crunchiness on the outside and a swift filling on the inside. This cafe is Korean family owned and everyone is extremely cute and nice! What's nice about this spot is that there's Gogi next door and there's also a conveyor belt sushi place next-door. After eating some yummy bulgogi bibimbap (my favorite) or eating sushi next door, you can grab some delicious dessert. Also, summertime is coming up, this place is somewhere nice to sit down and chill to eat a cold dessert. read more

Had to try the taiyaki! And it was awesome. Cute dessert place with plenty of choices from ice cream to snow ice to milk teas. I had the taiyaki with nutella and matcha soft serve. Where to start? The taiyaki i think was made with rice flour so it gave this nice crunch on the outside with yummy chewiness on the inside. Paired well with the nutella. The soft serve was so tasty and hit those matcha flavors well. Anyways consider me hooked and will for sure be back! read more
Brand new place. Super cute atmosphere with great desserts and drinks. We tried the lychee green tea and it was good. Tried the soft serve fish cone with matcha ice cream and for toppings we got custard mini mochi and macaron. The ice cream and the fish shaped waffle was amazing! Loved it! Just the macaron was little old. We also tried the Fruitilicious snow which came with seasonal fruits and scoop of vanilla ice cream. It was great and refreshing. Would come back here. read more

I finally made it to Snowtime and it was AMAZING!! Snowtime serves Ice cream, snow, teas and coffee concoctions. Snowtime is located in Chandler off of Dobson and Warner in the popular Lee Lee's plaza. I ordered the infamous fish cone twist with taro and matcha. Adorned it with oreo crumbles along with Pocky and finally filled with custard. The mix of the two flavors was perfect especially since I haven't had soft serve of either of those flavors. The fish cone was light and fluffy with a little bit of a crispiness, almost similar to a waffle. The custard filling just made it even better. The price value was well worth it and i am thinking of getting another one right now. Super clean and large interior to hangout with friends. There is even a back study room to have some privacy. Give Snowtime some love, it is so worth it! read more

Paired with friendly customer service, an inviting atmosphere, and delicious desserts. This new cafe is highly recommended for those who like to cool down in the AZ heat. I recommend the green tea snow. The taiyaki soft serve ice cream is probably one of the best things to get. The matcha/taro swirl is really good. I wished I lived nearer Chandler just so I can go here all the time. The moment you walk in, you're graced with a sweet, pleasant aroma that can immediately put you in such a good mood. In the multiple times I've visited, I love how the owner or the cashier greets you when you walk in with a kind of adorable excitement. I have a sweet tooth and I love that their snows aren't overbearing in their sweetness levels. It's the perfect amount and since it's shaved milk, the sweetness is tweaked by the different toppings you get. My favorite is the Golden Dust, but I like replacing the mochi with the cereal to give it a bit of a crunch. Since I live in Glendale, the far drive is painful, but once I take a bite of Snowtime's sweet treats, the thought of driving back in rush hour traffic during a weekday isn't that bad, I guess. :) (ps. ask for a sticker so you can put it on your laptop or something) read more

I love dessert shops! This place had a walkway in their wall that goes into the neighboring sushi boat restaurant. Perfect for a sweet cap to your sushi. Clean and bright interior. Good amount of seating inside and a few seats outside. Arrived at 8:45p on a Sunday night (15 minutes before closing) and this place was still busy, we got lucky to have found an open table inside! Had to get the fish cone special and ordered a taro milk tea for my boyfriend. Sadly, they didn't have the taro frozen yogurt available on Sunday night so I opted for the vanilla. Topped it with taro dust/powder, a pocky stick, and had my fish cone filled with custard. Patiently sat and watch them make the fish shaped cones, which if you're familiar with eggettes, I believe these cones are similar. It's sort of like a waffle but softer and chewier. I don't know how people ate their cones so easily... I had to use like 10 paper napkins. Since the cone is so fresh, the frozen yogurt starts melting instantly - no matter how quickly I thought I was licking, it kept dripping. Anyhow, the frozen yogurt was delicious. I wish there was a little more taro dust on it, but still good. The fish shaped cone filled with custard, mixed with melted frozen yogurt/ice cream was sooooo good!! As for the taro milk tea, it was eh. Needed a little more taro powder flavoring. The lychee jelly in it was good though. Definitely a cute little spot to give a try!! read more

Pretty good for an Asian snow place in metro Phoenix, not as good as the big cities offerings but I was satisfied. I have been here twice and got the Matcha Love both times, being a lover of all things matcha. A small portion is definitely enough for a dessert, a medium or large must be meal sized. The red beans could have been cooked a little longer my last time but I take this as a good sign because it means they make their own instead of using canned. The little conveyer belt sushi cafe just opened up next door and there is a pass through from Snowtime. Gotta try that out next time! read more
