I ordered assorted Taiyaki (custard, Nutella, grilled cheese, blueberry cheesecake). Signature Strawberry Snow, and Lychee Fruit Tea with Boba. My favorite Taiyaki was the grilled cheese and custard. Eat it while hot. It becomes soggy if left in the box. My favorite was the Strawberry signature snow. It was so good, smooth, creamy and just the right amount of sweetness. Service is top-notch. This place is where the old pennylane was. I liked pennylane but I like this place even more. The soft serve is perfect in terms of sweetness and creaminess. They only do 4 flavors (vanilla chocolate matcha and ube) but they do them all very well. Service is great too. They also offer Korean shaved ice which I haven't tried because I'm more a fan of the Taiwanese type that is more finely shaved. read more

Came here for the first time tonight and all of the staff here are so nice. 2 guys greeted us and offered to explain what they specialize in, and I appreciated it. We brought in our dog, but held it close to us. We ordered the strawberry matcha tea and the strawberries and cream signature and they were all delicious! Honestly, such nice staff and a girl came out to greeted us and asked us about our rescue puppy! The ambience was so clean and nice. Music wasn't loud and parking was great! I was craving ice cream and found this place had 5 stars. It is very clean on the inside and the colors, plants give it a nice ambiance. There is a limited amount of seating, people with big parties just a caution. Their menu is very easy to read and the person who helped me gave me a description of what their snow shaved ice is which fascinated me. Instead of shaved ice they do it with milk and once I got to taste it , I was hooked. I went with their specialty the Korean shaved snow The flavor that I got was the TIRA-MISS-YOU which consisted of tiramisu, cocoa dust, strawberry garnish, chocolate drizzle. It took a couple of bites for me to realize what was so special about this treat. The snow! It looks just like it and it tastes phenomenal, the consistency is fun to eat. Even after I ran out of the chocolate drizzle I was really enjoying the shaved snow. There were 7 more options and the sizes that they use are generous. I also got the brown sugar milk tea boba, it was delicious the boba balls they used were so chewy and I wish they had put more. The customer service was amazing and the pricing was fair. Great place to come on a hot summer day with friends or family. Lots of options from bingsu, taiyaki, and drinks. I got their berry mochi shaved snow, which was topped with strawberries, mochi, and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Very tasty and fitting for the hot weather. First time there it was great. Quick and friendly service. Love the blueberry and cream cheese Taiyaki. Second time, service was ok, they forgot to give me one of the full size taiyaki but I didn't notice until I got home. Too hot to go back. Third time, (since I love them) service sucked. The people behind me received the order first. When I went to ask if mine was done, I was told that theirs was premade and came up first. Ok, makes sense. Then I see the girl that I spoke to telling the other girl (the one who looks angry and unfriendly, I could read her lips saying , "Oh my god" and rolled her eyes. I'm totally turned off now. Bummer, I really did like the taikiyaki's.but I must have made a bad impression on them too because this time there was hardly any filling. I hope they improve their customer service. It's super close to me but I don't know that I'll be going back. Update: the owner, Sara, has personally reached out to resolve my complaint. It's understandable that new businesses will go through bumps as they gain experience we learn their system of service. I'm certain that they will become a a neighborhood staple with Sara's commitment to providing delicious treats at a reasonable price. I look forward to my next visit soon. read more

My family always eats dinner at Brew City Grill, right next door, and we go to the dessert place right after. This location used to be a frozen yogurt place, which was taken down and replaced by Snowtime. After eating a nice meal at Brew City, we went to Snowtime for the first time. We ordered a flavor that looked like a sunset and was really cute. The inside of the restaurant was big and had things like Squishmallows to buy on one side of the store. The staff was friendly and the dessert came quickly. It was a very large dessert for its price and had tiny chunks of fruit inside. It was very delicious and we were happy to find out that this was better than our long lost friend, the FroYo place. read more

When we first walked in we were greeted and welcomed by the friendliest smile! I think the person who took our order may have been the owner. Inside was vibrant and had the cutest aesthetic. All of the flavors that they had to offer were right up my alley. We were debating between the Sweet Sunset, the matcha or the tiramisu, and ended up ordering the Sweet Sunset. One thing I appreciate most here is how they offer their bingsoos in three different sizes which isn't common when ordering bingsoos at other places. So if you're craving for something sweet and don't have others joining , you can get their smallest size and it would be the perfect amount for one. I had a friend with me today so we opted for their regular size and that was just the right amount for the both of us. The person who took our order ended up bringing our order straight to us, which she didn't have to do but did anyways! I love when a place is providing service that feels personal and welcoming and she did just that! The Sweet Sunset had the perfect amount of sweetness and was so refreshing. I really loved how it had both mangos and strawberries, and not sure if these two fruits are just in season but they were so fresh. The shaved ice was perfectly "fluffy" and not sure what they do to it but when we reached the bottom it still hasn't melted! Can already see myself coming back very soon to try their other flavors! We ordered the Matcha Love Shaved Snow and 3 mini taiyakis filled with blueberry cream cheese, nutella, and custard I thought this place was super yum and definitely icy. The matcha was caffeinated and the mochi was so good. I thought there could have been a bit more mochi. I liked that there was two layers of the matcha powder. As for the mini taiyaki, they were so cute and cheap! They're the perfect bite-sized treat and I loved the blueberry cream cheese flavor. I thought that it was very unique. My new favorite Korean shaved ice place in the Bay Area! If you are in the area or not YOU HAVE TO TRY IT OKAY. First off, the inside of this place is absolutely beautiful!! It is super clean, warm, inviting, easy on the eyes and makes a great place to chill and hang out with friends. Onto the main star of the show!! The food AHHHH the taiyakis are my personal favorite :)) it's crispy on the outside and hot and chewy on the inside (mochi like) and there's so many different flavors of fillings to choose from too. The shaved ice omg is to die for. I've only gotten to try the black sesame one but it's soo good. The attention to detail 10/10. I really appreciate how every layer there is something sandwiched inside it so every bite was packed with flavor and not just plain!! This was a game changer. The service was the cherry on top. I come here instead of the other overhyped Korean bingsoo spots! The bingsoo is so refreshing and flavorful here, the sizes are great, and the mini taiyakis are so fun to eat! Service was fine and the desserts come out SO fast (not like the overhyped places where I waited for over an hr....) There's plenty of seating but it can get very busy. We had a large party so we ended up taking our bingsoo to-go and eating it outside. There were some tables and chairs near the brewery. read more
