I had to come to Buda at stinking 6am for a job and headed to Snooze for breakfast afterwards. It's a super well maintained place with high ceilings and everything new and quaint. The bathrooms are just spectacular here. I was greeted, seated, and waited on by a charming worker. Predictably, I ordered the Denver omelette because it's my go-to breakfast anytime it's available. It came out hot, complete, and with a beautiful presentation. The bell peppers were not as tasty as I'd hoped but the dynamite ham more than made up for it. The hash browns were okay but didn't really taste all that good. Not like the rest of the meal. The toast with butter and jam were top notch. I liked the substantial metal flatware and plates but wished the iced tea glasses could be larger. All in all it was just what I needed to face another day of work. read more

This place knows pancakes with four all the time specialty flavors (pineapple, strawberry, cinnamon roll and banana), one specialty (currently sticky toffee) and the basic buttermilk. While they claim to be a breakfast / brunch restaurant, all of the options I saw on the menu are breakfast options (no burgers, no salads, soups, sandwiches, etc ). So if you like endless variations on eggs and some creative pancakes / French toast this place is for you. If one or more in your party want something different, they may not feel very excited with the menu. They have quite an extensive menu beyond pancakes if that's not your thing. They have a specialty bacon that I really enjoyed with a stack of strawberry pancakes. The wife went with two eggs, two bacon, hashbrowns, substituted the sticky toffee pancake for the bread options. She thoroughly enjoyed the eggs, bacon and pancake. The hashbrowns were a bit of a miss. They tried to do something unique with the potatoes and they were not the right texture, being on the mushy side of things. Service was competent and prompt. The wife had decaf coffee and while it was quite good, our server could have been more attentive in keeping her cup full. The inside decor seemed unremarkable to me. With no partitions to speak of, it was louder than most places. On the positive side, it we clean, comfortable and well maintained. This was our first time eating at the North Lamar location. It's located in a center that has parking underground, which is free, which is great. We tried a couple of new entrées, which were very good. Our service as well was excellent. The menu is wide ranging, so I'm pretty sure there's something for everyone. And they allow you to have half orders of different items, so you should ask when you get there. It's a very popular place around 11 AM so try to get there early or be prepared for a short wait. But you can also get the app, and go on the waitlist. All in all definitely give this place a try we give it five stars. read more

This location is busy! Good for Kyle, TX!! Our wait time was only about 30 minutes so we enjoyed a coffee next door while we waited. The ham and cheese omelette was really good. Seasoned perfectly and tasty. The pancake was a bit dry and the tiny syrup was a joke, I had to ask for more syrup twice! I didn't like the stacked hashbrowns. They are too thick and not crispy enough. The service was lacking. Out waitress was a bit dismissive and almost rude. When she asked if we were ready to order we hesitated a little to see if both of us was ready and she quickly interrupted and said, "I'll give you a minute and come back." And rushed to another table. She always seemed rushed and not interested. She also didn't seem happy or enjoy her job. She even brought the wrong hot sauce I asked for. Maybe not a good listener or just busy? The food was good but I hope for better service if we visit again. read more

This would be a 5- star review if it wasn't for the somewhat offensive hockey puck of potato mush that they call hashbrowns. We ordered expensive coffee and avocado toast and a duo of Benedicts - pork belly and barbacoa. Both dishes were excellent with flavorful accompaniments and were put together with care. Which makes it so weird that the "hashbrown" is so neglected. It's a thick pile of potato shreds that wasn't crispy and the potatoes on the inside were under cooked. It's so thick that the ratio of crispy potato to soft potato will always be way off, no matter how long they cook it. I've never seen hashbrowns done like this and it is truly mind boggling. The service was perfect. Marco was so attentive and polite. The music threw me back to the 90s, which was a great pick-me-up for the morning. I'll go back, but I definitely will be avoiding those potatoes! read more

There was a small wait period (15-20 minutes) so we waited outside and it was fun to have a game of cornhole to spend some time while waiting. Ricardo was our waiter and he was very kind and fun, we got mimosas to start, bacon (because of national bacon day) and the pork fried rice, all super delicious. The ambience is similar to all the other snooze eateries, lounges and booths, a big TV playing the UT game and a long bar. We will be coming back! read more

The food was pretty tasty . Ordered a high protein omelette. It came with hash browns and a choice of toast. I substituted a pumpkin pancake for the toast. It added $6 to the bill. I have to say the pancake was not to my liking. I guess I have not had anything sweet for a while and all I could taste was sweet. The omelette and hash browns were quite tasty. Service was good and it was clean and comfortable inside. Our total foe tow entrees, a coffee, added bacon and the pancake was about $45. I would eat here again. read more

I love the ambience of this place-bright and cheerful. The menu is eclectic and has choices for everyone. The first few times I thought the kitchen was slow because of the crowd. Today I went in and there was only a handful of tables. My 'easy' meal of eggs, bacon, and hash browns took forever to come out. I had also ordered a pancake for my birthday. It was dense and an odd texture. It tasted good, but could have been better! I so wanted to give this place a 4.5 but because of the kitchen slowness and the pancakes, I have to go with 3.5, rounded down. read more

We seen this breakfast is a new spot in Kyle and we were looking for breakfast so went in to give it a shot. This place is nice. Plenty of seating, bright, clean and the staff is inviting and friendly. They're knowledgeable of the menu and offer suggestions which is something I like when its my first time somewhere. I had the OMG french toast and OMG! it was. Full of flavor, cooked to perfection and topped with fruits. Hubby had pork belly fried rice with an egg; He wasn't as enthused as I was, he felt there should have been more of bigger chunks of pork belly because he tasted more of the fruit that was in there. He wouldn't order that again but would definitely try something else. We also tried a caramel latte (pretty good) along with a strawberry martini mimosa (it was good) and he had a bloody mary with bacon (liked it better after he added cholula to it) We will come back and I do recommend the place. read more

Have always had consistently good service here and the food is good, especially the bennys and my fave as of late, the habanero pork belly breakfast fried rice. They have a extensive menu so there's something for everyone. Drinks are pretty strong and the coffee has been better as of late. Their pancake flight is perfect for anyone who wishes to sample their specialty pancakes. My only issue is that their pancakes always seem to be on the dryer side even their specialty pancakes. But it may also be just me and preference. It's definitely a good spot for when you dont feel like rolling out of bed and making breakfast. I really enjoy Snooze. I've been to their location in Vegas, and what I appreciate is that the food tastes the same no matter where I am in the country, and the staff is also lovely in every location I've visited. The food is solid. I have yet to be disappointed by a single dish I've had here. I love how simple it is to search for gluten free options and how knowledgeable their staff is about allergies and all the precautions taken for allergies. I love that if I need some carbs, I can have delicious, buttery gluten free pancakes. I also love that if I'm meeting a friend in the AM for breakfast before work, I can enjoy something light. Prices are very reasonable, and again the food is solid. While I haven't had anything that has knocked my socks off yet, I will continue to come to Snooze and try new plates to find that one that takes my breath away! The restaurant has always been clean, the staff always friendly even at 6:30AM, and I appreciate their waitlist options for the busy weekends! Service was great, didn't have to wait much longer after I checked in. Server was really nice. I originally had ordered the barbacoa instead of the pork, but I still really enjoyed it. We went around 11am for brunch, had a 30minute wait apparantly popular for a breakfast spot. The Cinnamon pancakes were nice portion and the two egg classic was right amount for breakfast. Always a fan of Snooze! The waitlist made it so we waited less than 5 minutes even though it was a typical busy Sunday morning. Our waitress was fantastic and so kind. She made sure we got exactly what we wanted. As pretty much everyone states, it is loud in the restaurant. I do wish they'd turn the music down just slightly because I think people talk louder because the music is so loud. They had softball on the TV at the bar which is nice. The food was fantastic and I love they do the half portions so I could get both savory and sweet. I didn't like the honey oat milk latte because it was a little heavy on the honey and it gave it a funny aftertaste. Everything else was spot on and it came out pretty fast!
