This place knows pancakes with four all the time specialty flavors (pineapple, strawberry, cinnamon roll and banana), one specialty (currently sticky toffee) and the basic buttermilk. While they claim to be a breakfast / brunch restaurant, all of the options I saw on the menu are breakfast options (no burgers, no salads, soups, sandwiches, etc ). So if you like endless variations on eggs and some creative pancakes / French toast this place is for you. If one or more in your party want something different, they may not feel very excited with the menu. They have quite an extensive menu beyond pancakes if that's not your thing. They have a specialty bacon that I really enjoyed with a stack of strawberry pancakes. The wife went with two eggs, two bacon, hashbrowns, substituted the sticky toffee pancake for the bread options. She thoroughly enjoyed the eggs, bacon and pancake. The hashbrowns were a bit of a miss. They tried to do something unique with the potatoes and they were not the right texture, being on the mushy side of things. Service was competent and prompt. The wife had decaf coffee and while it was quite good, our server could have been more attentive in keeping her cup full. The inside decor seemed unremarkable to me. With no partitions to speak of, it was louder than most places. On the positive side, it we clean, comfortable and well maintained. Definitely a place to return to when we are in the area looking for brunch.
My Wife requested we have breakfast at this place and we really enjoyed our time here. I truly appreciate their plant based options and the ability to sub out eggs for tofu. I can confirm their Banana Bills Pancakes are great and vegan, count me in! I really like the location as well, its easy to get in to and the staff was super friendly.
Today we had a party of three. One order of Juan's Tacos, one regular Snooze breakfast, and one order of their corned beef hash. Then there was a pineapple upside down pancake to share. Two of us enjoyed a bloody Mary -- one had gin and one with vodka. Everything was delicious, served, broccoli, and our server was very pleasant.
This location is busy! Good for Kyle, TX!! Our wait time was only about 30 minutes so we enjoyed a coffee next door while we waited. The ham and cheese omelette was really good. Seasoned perfectly and tasty. The pancake was a bit dry and the tiny syrup was a joke, I had to ask for more syrup twice! I didn't like the stacked hashbrowns. They are too thick and not crispy enough. The service was lacking. Out waitress was a bit dismissive and almost rude. When she asked if we were ready to order we hesitated a little to see if both of us was ready and she quickly interrupted and said, "I'll give you a minute and come back." And rushed to another table. She always seemed rushed and not interested. She also didn't seem happy or enjoy her job. She even brought the wrong hot sauce I asked for. Maybe not a good listener or just busy? The food was good but I hope for better service if we visit again.
This would be a 5- star review if it wasn't for the somewhat offensive hockey puck of potato mush that they call hashbrowns. We ordered expensive coffee and avocado toast and a duo of Benedicts - pork belly and barbacoa. Both dishes were excellent with flavorful accompaniments and were put together with care. Which makes it so weird that the "hashbrown" is so neglected. It's a thick pile of potato shreds that wasn't crispy and the potatoes on the inside were under cooked. It's so thick that the ratio of crispy potato to soft potato will always be way off, no matter how long they cook it. I've never seen hashbrowns done like this and it is truly mind boggling. The service was perfect. Marco was so attentive and polite. The music threw me back to the 90s, which was a great pick-me-up for the morning. I'll go back, but I definitely will be avoiding those potatoes!
There was a small wait period (15-20 minutes) so we waited outside and it was fun to have a game of cornhole to spend some time while waiting. Ricardo was our waiter and he was very kind and fun, we got mimosas to start, bacon (because of national bacon day) and the pork fried rice, all super delicious. The ambience is similar to all the other snooze eateries, lounges and booths, a big TV playing the UT game and a long bar. We will be coming back!
This was our first time eating at the North Lamar location. It's located in a center that has parking underground, which is free, which is great. We tried a couple of new entrées, which were very good. Our service as well was excellent. The menu is wide ranging, so I'm pretty sure there's something for everyone. And they allow you to have half orders of different items, so you should ask when you get there. It's a very popular place around 11 AM so try to get there early or be prepared for a short wait. But you can also get the app, and go on the waitlist. All in all definitely give this place a try we give it five stars.
What a fabulous birthday experience at Snooze! My friend took me out to celebrate, and everything was wonderful from start to finish! She had the French toast, and I enjoyed the Duo Benedict--both were absolutely delicious! Vanessa took such great care of us and made my birthday breakfast feel extra special. The atmosphere was fun and inviting, the food was fantastic, and the service was outstanding. Thank you, Vanessa, for helping make my birthday so memorable! We'll definitely be back!
The food is amazing and the staff is very friendly. We came at a very busy hour for brunch on the weekend. The queue moved quickly. The decor is okay. The biscuit was amazing, my family loved the food. We will definitely be back but preferably on a weekday.
I had to come to Buda at stinking 6am for a job and headed to Snooze for breakfast afterwards. It's a super well maintained place with high ceilings and everything new and quaint. The bathrooms are just spectacular here. I was greeted, seated, and waited on by a charming worker. Predictably, I ordered the Denver omelette because it's my go-to breakfast anytime it's available. It came out hot, complete, and with a beautiful presentation. The bell peppers were not as tasty as I'd hoped but the dynamite ham more than made up for it. The hash browns were okay but didn't really taste all that good. Not like the rest of the meal. The toast with butter and jam were top notch. I liked the substantial metal flatware and plates but wished the iced tea glasses could be larger. All in all it was just what I needed to face another day of work.
I love the ambience of this place-bright and cheerful. The menu is eclectic and has choices for everyone. The first few times I thought the kitchen was slow because of the crowd. Today I went in and there was only a handful of tables. My 'easy' meal of eggs, bacon, and hash browns took forever to come out. I had also ordered a pancake for my birthday. It was dense and an odd texture. It tasted good, but could have been better! I so wanted to give this place a 4.5 but because of the kitchen slowness and the pancakes, I have to go with 3.5, rounded down.
We seen this breakfast is a new spot in Kyle and we were looking for breakfast so went in to give it a shot. This place is nice. Plenty of seating, bright, clean and the staff is inviting and friendly. They're knowledgeable of the menu and offer suggestions which is something I like when its my first time somewhere. I had the OMG french toast and OMG! it was. Full of flavor, cooked to perfection and topped with fruits. Hubby had pork belly fried rice with an egg; He wasn't as enthused as I was, he felt there should have been more of bigger chunks of pork belly because he tasted more of the fruit that was in there. He wouldn't order that again but would definitely try something else. We also tried a caramel latte (pretty good) along with a strawberry martini mimosa (it was good) and he had a bloody mary with bacon (liked it better after he added cholula to it) We will come back and I do recommend the place.
Reviews are largely positive. People highlight the creative menu options, friendly and attentive service, and a lively, welcoming atmosphere. The menu features wide dietary options.

Service was great, didn't have to wait much longer after I checked in. Server was really nice. I originally had ordered the barbacoa instead of the pork, but I still really enjoyed it. Couldn't tell if the top sauce or the sauce in the tortillas was spicy, surprised me a bit but definitely added to all of the flavors. read more

We went around 11am for brunch, had a 30minute wait apparantly popular for a breakfast spot. The Cinnamon pancakes were nice portion and the two egg classic was right amount for breakfast. For lactose intolerant like me there are dairy free options. Love our waitress! Always all smiles. The decor was funky kinda like a cross between a 50s diner and todays, I liked it. Will be coming back for sure. read more

Everyone loved their food. I had the strawberry shortcake pancakes. They were so delicious! The only thing we didn't like was the weird booth they sat us in. Service was great. Wait time to be seated was short, but wait time for the food took a little longer than I had hoped. read more

The food was delicious and the service was good! It was nice to go during the week because they have good drink deals and it's not too crowded. The indoor is cute as well, they don't have too many big tables and the plates are big so prepare to be a bit crowded while eating with a party of 5+. Overall, good experience for brunch read more

Cozy and chatty! Cute joint with lots of lighting. Let's really enjoy a good breakfast or brunch in the company of people and a great environment. The food is top-notch, been coming here and trying nearly everything. So far the only thing I didn't like was only because my personal taste against things that are too sweet. But that item is not even on the menu anymore, so aside from the point. The management is great. There is this really nice manager woman, whose always so attentive and thankful whenever I come. I'll be coming many times more! read more

This was our first time at Snooze and it was AMAZING! All of the staff were super friendly. We went in on a busy Sunday morning and expected to wait but it did not take long at all. Olivia was our waitress and she was super sweet and very helpful! Food was so good and also great family friendly atmosphere. We will definitely be back! read more
I love Snooze. When they opened in Kyle I was so excited!! I've been here a total of three times now. And each time they did not disappoint. The wait times do vary. On a Saturday around 3pm I had 0 wait time. But on a Friday and Saturday morning around 11 it was about an hour. Expect long wait times for a weekend brunch. I was told even weekdays are pretty busy too. But the servers are all still very patient, very nice, and very accommodating. The food of course is great. I got something different every time I've been and enjoyed every dish. I prefer eating outside than inside especially since the weather is so nice right now. It's just calmer outside. While the inside can get pretty loud with a small space and tons of people. There's tons of parking but it can be hard to find given the busier times and the fact there are other businesses sharing this lot. read more

Pricy for breakfast thinking about other restaurants around us, the value and taste is good, ambiance- if your elderly and you don't want loud crowd, it will probably not a place for you, music is so loud that the tendency is that people will talk loud or louder. So I guess by the time you get out of the restaurant you'll be fully awake. We are early 50's and we kinda like it not so loud. Service is superb! good quick to sit. So just to try it out , We order side of sweet potato pancake is $6.75. My shrimp and grits is $16.75 this one is good. Lots of options for wonderful breakfast Benedict, a classic for my husband cost $12.75. They have a rewards program if you sign up 4 hours prior to dine in, it will get you free signature pancake flight. Overall will I come back maybe only because my children probably will ask me or they can go on their own, but I would probably prepare to go to Cracker Barrel/ Texas bean and brew house or anywhere as long that after I eat breakfast I'm still feeling at peace (it's really loud inside this restaurant) 5 star for Destiny's service! read more

I love Snooze for brunch. The wait is long and today the wait list was behind schedule because of the weather. The service was good. The pancake flight and shrimp and grits are my go to, but everything I have had on the menu is delicious. Glad a new location opened in Kyle. read more

We went to snooze a a few weeks back in it was a breakfast with the family my mother and my wife and I and they had the most delicious pancakes. Everything was good the sausage and eggs even the drinks. I've already recommended this place for a morning brunch with my crew of fellow counselors from the Kyle corrections facility definitely going to come over and bring business. New to Kyle! A fancy breakfast place that has some bougie eats and some healthy alternatives... really just what this city needs. Sure, it's a chain, but it is t your typical grab and go. It's a little more sophisticated - for example they have 8 different versions of Eggs Benedict I tried the Benny duo - one Bella! Bella! (With prosciutto & cheese on ciabatta bread & Habanero Pork Belly (pork belly on an English muffin & cranberry relish). It was delicious. Coffee was great too, and my cup never got 1/2 empty. The service was great. The place, although it was really loud (acoustics seem to be something new places in this area are having issue with) is a nice space with indoor and outdoor seating. The prices are typical for the type of eatery it is (upscale-diner-vibes) so for me it'll be a special occasion place, but it is delicious. read more

Food: 4.75 / 5 - Really enjoyed their new Spring menu! The only thing that was off to us was their unique take on hash browns. If you order it, tell them how you want it! Service: 5 / 5 - No complaints at all! Cleanliness: 5 / 5 - VERY clean as it's a brand new location! Parking: 4.9 / 5 - Can get busy on weekends but we were lucky enough to get an alright spot. Price: 4.75 / 5 - Pretty affordable for a brunch spot. Mostly everything was under $15! - gillynova read more

The reservation tab for the Kyle location is no longer there. It just redirects to "join waitlist", which I don't need to do. I actually need to change an existing reservation I made on this website, but it disappeared. Any ideas?
I also had issues with the Kyle location Yelp page. I think it would be best to call them and see what the in-house staff can help with. They took care of me when I experiencing issues!
