Beware of the "5 Star" Reviews Offering free drinks/apps in exchange. I do want to point out that I never submit reviews. Went in and sat down quick, yet the food took over an hour. We sat, ordered drinks along with the food when we got there. After we realized the people around us that arrived significantly later were already paying to leave, we got up to ask about our food as it had easily been 40 minutes. Got told it would be a couple of minutes, gave us waters. Mind you, we are now over an hour into waiting. Food started to roll out and we kept getting offered free chips in the meantime- sorry but this solves the situation how? We are now going to be full of chips and not food. 2 of the meals still took an extra 20 min after the majority rolled out and of course, my parents' food came out COLD. What were we waiting for on this exactly? A lady, who I am assuming is the manager, came to apologize, told us she would remove the 2 items from the ticket. We were understanding. However, she then admitted they dropped the ball- this is where this place really lost us. She stated that they tried to reheat the plates and just pass it as "fresh." Thank you for finally being honest but this truly just gave me a bad image of management. I felt like they just threw the team under the bus. We asked for the check and when we asked if she did comp the 2 plates, she gave an attitude responding, "I did, I fixed it" and then proceeded to send someone else to check us out. That is not how you manage or take ownership. As a manager myself, you take care of the person full on through to try and turn the situation around. Had she done that or had the staff communicated that they messed up when we had initially asked, we would've been completely fine instead all that happened here. We were in there for about 2.5 hours. The place is self serve which I was surprised especially with the prices. The hamburger was just okay. The chili was just okay too. It was thin broth. The chicken sandwich was ok. Sad beer choices. Ran out of the tallboy beer. Loud with open air seating. The open air was nice but the wood picnic tables not so great. We did water served to us but we waited on ourselves. Industry is a good place to go for a bite to eat or place an order to go. Usually order to go is the fish sandwich and cheese quesadilla. Usually split the order. Both items are very delicious. Both comes with a side of chips. The prices are reasonable. If dining in the service is nice. Seating options inside or outside. Prices are reasonable. Menu seems to have something for everyone. Service was great here. The staff was so friendly and very helpful. The food was okay. My friend got the burger and I tried it. Just an average burger to be honest. I ordered the half smoked chicken but what I got was fried chicken. Maybe they ran out but a heads up would have been nice. I had to scrape off the breading so I lost all of the sauce that was on the chicken. The restaurant was nice and what you would expect from a bar like setting. read more

The food and service were both amazing! My husband had the brisket tacos which came w chips and salsa. The tacos were flavorful and a great size. The salsa had SO much flavor and the perfect amount of spice. I love spice! We shared the blackberry wings, which came out hot and fresh. They started sweet and ended with a nice kick. I had the Indistry bowl with diced chicken. It was huge, and like everything else, delicious. My favorite part was the Brussels sprouts. We definitely will be back again! read more

We tried out Industry last night. Setting is nice - it was a little loud inside. We sat outside on the patio and the weather was perfect. We shared the nachos and catfish. Both were delicious. The green sauce on the nachos was really HOT - be prepared. We had drinks - a Pilsner and a frozen drink - pre (something). Food came out quickly and stay was friendly. Our only problem was they charged us $3 to add avocado to the nachos and barely put one little slice cut into five small pieces on it. read more

Really enjoyed this spot. The beer was on point -- they've got a rotating draft selection that changes weekly, which keeps things interesting. Live music gave it a great vibe without being too loud, and the whole atmosphere is relaxed but lively. We met some local friends here for lunch and we sat outside, which was amazing as they all had umbrellas for shade. It was so easy if you wanted to order from the table with the QR code on the table and we did that, however our friends went up to the bar to order and each experience was quick and easy. We had the burrito with brisket and the eggs Mexican style not quite sure what the name of that dish was our friends had catfish and burgers. Everything was so beautiful to look at it and it was wonderful tasting. The fish had a great crust on it. It was crispy and the size of it took up his entire plate. My husband said his burrito was amazing and he would order that again. My eggs was really good with the Mexican spices and everything however, after looking at the catfish, I think next time I would have ordered that. Decided to get something after hitting the Outlet mall and this place seemed worth checking out in San Marcos. It's got a New American vibe, with a menu of American/Asian fusion mixed with a Whiskey bar. We got pork belly, roasted kale and fries - everything was very nicely cooked and came out pretty quickly. They unfortunately couldn't make the drink that I ordered and the server wasn't very knowledgeable but they remediated with something else, so that was nice. We'd probably go again if we're in San Macros and it's a good location, close to downtown and some other bars. read more
