You walk in and give your order and they bring your order to you. Nothing special about the food. My salad had wilted lettuce inside it and we were served cold sweet potatoes fry's. As I said nothing special but good iced tea!

Just WOW on the setting and ambiance, which overlooks the manicured grounds. We are here on a Saturday evening (they are normally closed on Sat evening) for a Father's Day meal. Dress here is casual, other than if an announced formal affair. We have eaten here previously and enjoyed the regular breakfast menu. It is offered seven days a week. Coffee is self serve, which I like in that I can get a half cup at a time, keeping it hot We returned for Sunday brunch. Now it is ordered from the menu. Previously, it was via steam table and lacked quite a bit. I sent an email to Brooke, she listened, and it changed. Highlights: - Complimentary coffee, tea, or soda. - 10am-noon - inside or outside dining - Limited, but very good menu - We love the two-taco special, two for only $6.50 Check online because their menu changes periodically based on what diners want. They also have a committee that provides input on what works or doesn't work. I like that. Finally, check their website or Facebook page for special offerings. I noticed a "comfort-food" meal. These are one-time offerings that are off the menu.

What a lovely restaurant to have lunch with a rolling hills view! The restaurant is very spacious and they had large fans on the patio that kept a cool breeze on a hot summer day. When you enter you go straight to a counter to order. You then get a number and your food will be brought to you. For two of us we shared the Pork Potstickers, Club Sandwich with Waffle Sweet Potato Fries and Fish Tacos with Coleslaw. You serve yourself your own fountain drink and can grab your condiments. Wowza the food portions are huge! The Potstickers were tasty and paired with a nice thick dipping sauce. The sandwich I enjoyed first bite. The sourdough bread wasn't too thick and had the perfect crisp to it. The Fish Tacos were good, but a little too much of a thick breading for me. For alcoholic drinks you walk up to the bar to order separate. I went with the KT Ranch Water and appreciated that the server made it with real fresh squeezed limes. I don't really like it when they use the already processed lime juice. Overall a nice experience!

Beautiful restaurant setting on the golf course. Lighting sets the ambiance. Service was very slow and it took 20 min for one of our guest to get their cocktail. He then actually went to the bar to retrieve it. We sat on the outdoor patio and had 6 guest in our party. I tried soup and it tasted delicious and savory. I wanted a 2nd cup. I ordered the pork chops with asparagus and risotto. The salad with bacon in the dressing was divine. We took pictures on the balcony. An excellent choice with friends or date night

So all of Hat Creek's meat options are delicious, and it turns out that... their veggie burger is as well! The patty is a black bean and quinoa patty with the normal burger fixings of lettuce, tomato, onion, and mustard. It doesn't try to match the flavor of a beef or turkey burger, but rather lets the beans and quinoa do the incredibly tasty work of making it good. This does mean that the patty doesn't hold the texture quite as well as a beef patty does... but who cares, since it's *delicious.* The sweet potato fries were also lovely, crisp, and just sweet enough that they went perfectly with the burger. Service was prompt and friendly and the only nitpick is that they forgot to include ketchup, but given how good the fries were on their own, that's *fine.* All told, wonderful food and a great vegetarian option..

That combo and a sandwich was under $30 after tax, which felt great for the indulgent, tasty meal that we enjoyed. Needed a recovery nap, it was great. Single error was not including the ketchup he requested, which I share only in the interest of transparency. I mean, in my house ketchup is to make mid to poor fries tolerable and Hat Creek's sweet potato fries are great. Their good service and quality groceries continue, so will our visits will too.

We were excited to see that they had a few vegan options, which can be hard to come by sometimes. The open kitchen was fun to watch, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. You can really feel the positive energy as soon as you walk in. I ordered the Chana & Spinach, a traditional chickpea curry served with coconut rice, green chutney, and crispy papadum. It was delicious and definitely had some heat to it, which I enjoyed. My fiancé got the Curry Trio and loved every bite. We also shared the vegetable samosas, which are vegan, and by "shared" I mean I ate 2 1/2 and he had 1/2 ;) plus I ordered a Diet Coke. There wasn't a vegan dessert option, but my fiancé ordered the pistachio dairy pop and loved it. Everything was flavorful and fresh. My only small suggestion would be just a little more rice with the Chana & Spinach dish, but honestly, that's a minor thing. They have a nice outdoor seating area, which is perfect if the weather is warm enough. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we'll definitely be back. Highly recommend if you're in the area!

Gus's World Famous Fried Chicken? Yeah. It's that kind of place. We went for the chicken sandwiches and I need you to understand--these were not just "good." These were ruin-other-places-for-you good. Crispy, juicy, perfectly seasoned... the kind of sandwich that makes you immediately start planning your next visit before you've even finished the first one. Now let's talk sides, because they did not come to play. Coleslaw (mine): fresh, balanced, actually flavorful (which is rare because let's be honest... slaw can be a gamble). This one? Solid win. Fried okra (my friend's): I am extremely picky about fried okra. Like, I side-eye most of it. But THIS? Golden, crispy, not a hint of that weird slimy nonsense. It was so good we ordered more to take home... which tells you everything you need to know. And because we clearly make excellent life choices, we shared a chess pie for dessert. Rich, sweet, buttery perfection. What really tied it all together though? The service. Warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming without being over the top. The kind of service that makes you feel taken care of, not rushed. Bottom line: Every single bite was worth every penny--and honestly, I would've paid more and still walked out happy. This is one of those spots that doesn't just meet expectations... it casually exceeds them and then sends you home thinking about it later like a crush you're not over yet.

The food portions were surprisingly small for the price -- honestly small enough for a toddler. Unfortunately, the service was the biggest disappointment. Our waiter never really welcomed us or made us feel appreciated as guests, especially for such an important occasion with a party of 13. As the graduate and guest of honor, I felt completely ignored the entire night, which especially upset my mother. He mainly interacted with only one family member the entire evening and came across as cold and uninterested. I understand he may have had a broken wrist or was having a difficult day, but it still felt disrespectful and lacking basic hospitality. I might consider returning someday to try the regular menu instead of the preset graduation menu, but I definitely would not want the same waiter again.
